After a really long homework session in the library Mitch made his way down to the Student Lounge to recuperate ,after all the silence of the library he needed noise.Mitch walked as slow as he could he knew the longer it took the less people so more seats to choose from not that he was bothered where he sat as long as he didn't have to read or write anything.
Mitch made it to the Student Lounge in 10 minutes it wasn't as empty as he'd of liked but there were soft ,heavenly chairs without people in them that was good enough for him.
Mitch walked over to a chair and flopped down and was submerged in to the leathery softness ,where he'd pretty much forgotten about the strenuous session he'd just got through.
After about 10 minutes of just sitting with his eyes closed he reopened his eyes and looked around ,not looking for anyone in-particular but just to check who else was in The Student Lounge he noticed it was full of his fellow first years then he closed his eye and relaxed some more.
Mitch opened his eyes after what must have bin about 15 minutes and sat back in his chair and looked out into space anyone could tell that he wasn't in his right mind at that time because of the faraway look in his eye .

Danielle got up and stretched. She had been sitting in the common room for at least an hour doing her homework. She finally finished it and put in her bag then went up the stairs and sat it on her bed. As she walked down the stairs she decided to go to the student lounge.
Upon walking in she saw that there were a couple chairs open. She walked over to one and sat down. Looking around she saw a Slytherin boy. She recognized him from some of her classes but she couldn't remember his name.
"Uh... hi," she said uncertain if he'd get angry " my name's Danielle, I'm a first year Gryffindor. What's your name?" she wasn't sure if he had heard her he kinda looked like he was out of it, just staring into space.

Mitch clicked back in to focus then he realized why there was Gryffindor girl talking to him but he didn't hear a word of it so he ask '' what ?'' , he could see in her eyes that she knew how Slytherin's lose it easily and she was stepping very carefully.
Mitch looked at the girl before saying '' I know you your Danielle I've seen you in potions''.

Danielle was glad that he didn't get mad and go off on her. She was especially glad that he actually knew her name. " Cool, I thought I knew you from somewhere." suddenly she remembered his name " Oh, I know you're Mitch aren't you!?" she said excitedly,she was also kinda loud which caused some kids to look her way but she didn't mind.

Mitch looked at Danielle then said '' Hi how you liking hogwarts ? , it's really coo; don't you think ?'' then he rubbed his eyes before sitting comfortably in his chair .
Mitch didn't wait for a answer before he asked another question he was always one for questions he ask Danielle '' have you done your potions homework ?''.

"Yeah, it's-" Danielle had started to answer his question but he had already asked another one. She tried again, "Yes I absolutly love Hogwarts! And yes I did finish my homework, just got done in fact. Well, before I came here." she paused to catch her breath."But I don't really like Snape I mean he's o.k. but he scares me. What do you think? Hey, have you ever been to America? I have I lived there till we moved last year."

Mitch looked at Danielle before he answered the last question first ,''no i haven't is it good ? my family were going to go but in the end we didn't ''.Mitch then answered the other question '' I think hogwart's is cool but i think it can be come a bit boring now and then ''.

Danielle listened to his replies. "Is it good?!" she exclaimed "It's great, haven't you seen pictures of it? That alone shows you how great it is! Have you ever made fun of someone who was different than you? Wait before you answer that have you ever heard of Seattle?" 'I wonder if I ask to many questions, oh no that's impossible.'

"Oh, well what do you think the 'real America' is like?" she inquired "I used to make fun of people too, But then I relised that it just made me seem like a jerk & trust me that would not look good on my record. Especially since I'm gonna' be President." she hoped he didn't think that she was weird " What are you going to do when you get older?" she asked.

Mitch didn't feel like talking about place thats was hundred's of miles away but he answered the question he said in his cocky way '' I don't know I've never bin there have I'm guessing it's full with muggles and tall buildings ''.
Mitch then answered the question about work and what he wanted to be when he was older , he had given this a lot of thought in the past year or so but still didn't know what he wanted to be or do or even what side we was going to be on .
Mitch sat in silence deep in thought again thing about the side's and the people and what he could get out of it , in the end he had to say what he knew which was nothing about life after Hogwarts '' I don't know what I'm going to be when I'm older '' Mitch ceased to talk and went back in to deep thought .

Danielle could tell that he didn't want to talk about America anymore. Neither did she, it always made her homesick. He didn't know what he was going to be when he grew up! 'I do, I've got it all figured out. President first then mabye an autopsy surgon.'
I wonder what he thinks about Voldemort. "What do you think of Voldemort?"

Mitch had given that a lot of thought as well he didn't not think the dark lord was evil but he also thought he was a genius and the power he had was unrivaled.
Mitch sat staring out in to space again thinking then after about 2 minutes he began to speak , '' i think he's a genius , he's evil yes but he's still amazing '' Mitch finished with a evil grin and a matching glint in his eye .

"Oh." Danielle said thinking of what to say "Well that could be true, from your view." she paused " But I guess he is a genius in an odd, cruel evil sort of way. I mean his powers are well, uh, amazing but I just think he could put them to a better use." She hoped he wouldn't start yelling at her.

Mitch could see it in her eyes that she thinking he was going to shout at her but the exact opposite happened Mitch agreed with her he could of put his power to better use but he didn't so people would just have to live with it Mitch didn't say it aloud in them words he said '' he could of yes but he didn't thats just what power does to people'' he finished with a evil smirk.

"Well, you know what I mean. Another thing may be that he just likes to kill." she shifted to a more comfortable position. " My older brother James said killed someone just 'cause he was angry. But then again he does lie. Anyway which ever it is I think he should go to either Anger Management or counseling."

Mitch laughed out loud but quickly stopped him self then he said '' only a Gryffindor would say something like that '' he finished with a evil grin and then added '' I can see where your going with it tho he does sound like a mad man but no one wold ever say it to his face '' .
Mitch gave a evil smirk to so he'd finished talking .
Mitch then ask his own question he asked '' Hows tour year bin so far ? '' he sat up straight awaiting a reply .

My brother told me about it but I can't find it." Danielle's mind wandered. 'I wonder why Snape is so evil looking. Why is Voldemort such a jerk? Why can't I go home? Those beds are really comfortable, did I feed Kitty?' All of these thoughts and many more raced through her mind as she waited for his answer.

Mitch smiled '' i didn't mean anything by its just the sort of thing a Gryffindor would say '' he smiled again Mitch had heard of the room of requirement but he's never seen the vanishing door .
Mitch told Danielle '' I've heard of it but never been able to find it apparently when you find it it fills with what ever you are looking for '' Mitch got thinking about what he would want it to fill with , then added '' that would be cool don't you think ?''.

Danielle listened. "Yeah, I guess it would be cool. Right about now if I found it I'd want it to be filled with food or candy, I suppose mostly candy though. You know gum, Hershey bars, ice cream, pop especially pop. And then I'd want a computer, you know what that is right?" She didn't really expect him to know but it woudn't hurt to ask. Danielle really wanted some Pepsi or patatoe chips. But she couldn't have any so she'd just have to wait.
