Katie walked into Hogsmeade with her long black coat on and golves and her Gryffindor scarf around her neck. She didnt care if she got caught she felt horrible and what happen with her father replayed in her mind like it was a TV show. What was wrong with her? Why couldnt she be her high energy self?
As she walked into Hogsmeade she bumped into a man. "Sorry" Katie siad and walked on. She than turned her head and saw a red lighter by her feet. It seemed as it was screaming out to her to use her.She bent down and picked it up and she started it. A blue flame came and it made her eyes sparkle brightly. She wondered what it felt like if she touched it would it take her pain away? Would it help her feel better? Katie than looked both ways and walked into a desertated aera and she sat down on the rock and continue to stare at the fire.
She watched it dance and called it the fire dancer. It teased her as it went back in and she restarted it giggling as it danced. She than looked around and so no one and she put her fingers in the fire. She winced in pain but it felt good. Katie put her finger back in and waited for a while until some one came up behind her.....

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Came Jordan's voice from behind Katie as the younger girl played with a lighter. Jordan raised an eyebrow at her sister and put her hands on her hips. Her hands had a collection of bags from the various stores. She still wore her arm warmers that way the scars of the cuts weren't visible, but she had stopped cutting the day Katie had gotten out of a coma.
"Huh?" Jordan waited impatiently for her answer. She knew she wasn't one to talk, considering she had herself driven a blade across her fair white skin, but burning was just as bad as cutting. And this was not good. She didn't want people whispering about Katie, or something. She didn't want that at all. And she knew, that if this got around...they perfectly were going to do so.
Jordan had, had enough of the whispers and the trying to helps. She had enough of it, and she knew that if someone would talk to Katie about it, Jordan would bite their head off. And she would yell and scream at them, tell them to bugger off and mind their own business. But, Jordan telling Katie to stop was a total different thing. Jordan knew that pain helped stress, but she didn't want to see Katie doing it...she never wanted to see Katie doing such a thing.

Kaite than jumped at Jordan voice and she turned her head at her sister with tears in her eyes. "Just leave me alone no one knows but you." Katie said and put the lighter back in her pocket and she looked off into space. It was a weeks since she had been in the comma and she didnt celeberate Christmas. To tell you the turth she didnt care. Katie than got up and ran back to the village of Hogsmeade. Her heat skipped beats as she ran inside the three brook sticks store. She sat down at at table alone and ordered a round of butterbear. She had hoped Jordan didnt follow her she didnt wont to talk about.
"No one gets it no one dose! I relived everything that took me years to forget. I relived that pain and felt the sorrow for my sister as she cut before of me." Katie thought in her mind burrying her face in her hands and crying. She didnt know who she could talk to but her sister but she liked the felling of the burn. Katie looked at her finger and exmaine the burn. It was just fine not to deep and looked okay.

Justin Lionhear appeared in the Three Broomsticks' fireplace and jumped out. He had his school robes on ,but underneath he wore the clothes that he always wore at home. He brushed himself off and bought a butterbeer ,then made his way outside. As he was walking up the road he saw and heard two familiar voices talking ,he caught a few pieces of it. He started to walk torwards the voices ,but he had no need for that ,because Katie was running torwards him not looking ahead. SHe had stopped a couple of feet before him and justin heard what she said " Justin walked up to her and said "Hey Katie. Who does'nt get what?" He saw her finger as she was looking at it and Justin wondered why it was burned. He stood there waiting for her reply.

Katie than heard a voice and she looked up at Justin with tears in her eyes. "Nothing just fine no worries." Katie said puting her hand in her pocket and touching the lighter. She sighed and looked behind her making sure Jordan didnt followed her. She didnt feel like explaining why she was burning herself. Katie than looked back at Justin and tired to smile. How could he know what she was really doing to herself?

Justin smiled and said " Okay , well glad your out of tyhe hospital. Now I wonder what are you doing in Hogsmead ,i thought you would be in bed at home instead of roaming the streets of Hogsmead." he looked around for an escape from the cold and saw that they were near the Three Broomsticks. He said " Wanna get something to drink? My treat." He said this in an cheery voice. Just then Jordan Cortes popped up and said a few things at which Justi sora cocked his eyebrow at and just waited for someone else to speak.

"KATIE ANNE DAVENPORT!" Jordan bellowed from the rock, she dropped the bags and chased after her sister. She collided into the yougner girl and they fell to the ground, rolling. When they had stopped, Jordan stood up and looked down at her sister.
"You know perfectly well, that what I did was wrong...now why in hell are you going and doing almost the exact same thing?" Jordan asked with a tone that was not her own, she then noticed Justin behind her, smiled slightly at him, then turned back to the center of her anger. What kind of sister am I? I just...can't let her...no. I won't. Jordan thought.

"Umm that so..." Katie was saying but she than noticed Jordan did follow he and stared at her with the fire in her eyes. Katie looked up at her sister, more like a glare. "Jordan I was trap to watch the scene over again in my head and I watch the other scene where he killed more than you did. I couldnt get away and then you started cutting and its all my fault." Katie said as tears went down her check. She than leaned up aginst a wal and slid to the flour and burried her head in her knees crying even more. She than got up and glared at her sister and stormed off in the other direction hoping that no one will follow her but that was unliuckly.
Katie than found another spot under a tree and she sat down in the cold snow and took out the lighter and but her figners in the blue flame. Katie sighed with relief and started to cry more and she restarted the lighter and burned the center of her arm leaving a large burise. Katie looked at it and hide her arm in her coat as some one came up next to her. "Cant anyone just leave me alone." Katie said in a low voice and she hurried and but the lighter back hoping that no one saw her.

Justin looked at Jordan as Katie took off and he said " I think we should follow her." with that he walked to where he saw Katie go and was wondering if Jordan would follow. He reached Katie and he knew that he had a very confused look on his face and said " What was that about , whats going on between you two?" he said this in a quiet ,polite voice and waited for a reply. He had sen the lighter she had been holding and said " Hey cool lighter where'd you find it?" he thought that it might not have been a good idea to say anything ,but he was a guy and never did understand what to do when dealing with girls.

"Oi vey..." Jordan said as Katie left...again. This was getting rather irritating. And there really wasn't anything Jordan could do. Katie was bruning, which in Jordan's eye was worse then cutting. And she was doing it all because, she thought Jordan started because of her. And she hadn't. Katie really shouldn't flatter herself that way. Jordan started for many more reasons.
"I'm getting so...tired of this." She said to no one in particular, Justin had chased after Katie. And she knew she should too, but something held her back and she didn't know if she should go anymore. Katie after all wanted to be alone. Maybe, Jordan could tell Chris. No. He wouldn't do anything but send her away. What else was there? Jordan sat there thinking then it sprang on her. She shouldn't be pushing Katie away from this. If Katie wanted to do it, then far be it for JOrdan to tell her no. Because, Jordan didn't listen to anyone when they told her to stop...why should Katie listen to Jordan? With a sigh, Jordan chased after Justin, she reached them and heard him ask what was going on.
"Nothing, we're just fine." Jordan answered for Katie, in a whisper. She looked at Katie and smiled, telling her that she understood. BUt that it was all wrong.

Katie looked up at Justin as he asked what was wrong with Jordan and her. She was about to say something but nothing happen. She than smiled at Jordan as she answered for her and then heard Justin say something about the lighter. She than held it tight in her right hand and looked up at him. "I found it in the streets i thought hey why not try pott." Katie said and she looked at Jordan and her smile fell from her face. It maybe was the wrong thing to say. Katie sighed and got up and looked at her friends and tired to smile. She than notice that her arm was out of her coat pocket and the bruise was now blooding. The snow than turned red and Katie hid her arm right away in her coat and looked away from her friends not wonting to look at them.

With one swift movement, Jordan had taken off the arm warmer and handed it to Katie.
"Here, it's bloodied up enough. We'll have Rosa do something about that scrape later." She told her with little explanation, her cuts were now visible, and Jordan disliked it greatly. But, it was all for Katie's sake. Looking around her she remembered she had dropped her bags back at the rock, her jacket was in those bags. She ran back there, got her jacket and pulled it on. She needed something over her arms. Heading back to the others she touched the end of her sleeve, making sure it came past her wrist.

Justin looked between the two as Jordan said that they were doing allright. He shrugged and said " Pott ,what's pott ,is it some kind of magical item? Well ,anyways how have you two been ,been up to anything lately?" he laid back in the snow and stared into the sky and wondering why life was the way it was. He raised his headjust in time ,because a carriage almost ran over his head. He saw Jordans' arm as she handed Katie armwarmer and watched as she ran and grabbed her stuff and came back. She had the cuts covered up so Justin said " Wait a sec ,when did you get all those cuts?" in a inquisitive voice.

Katie took the arm warmer and put it on her arm. She than laughed softly as Justin wondered what pott was. It was a good thing that the wizarding world didnt have it. She sighed and looked up at Justin as he asked a very personal question. Katie stared him down, "Its nothing and were just fine lets justs go." Katie said said walking the other way to the Three Broomsticks store.
As she entered the store she hang up her coat but kept the lighter in her font pockets just incase she needed it or something. Katie sat down and looked into the fire that was going on. She felt like jumping into it but Katie kept control over it but still stared at it.

"I-" Jordan started but, Katie answered for her. She smiled slightly and looked down. He hadn't heard the rumor. Jordan didn't know to take that as a good thing, or a bad thing. Considering, if he didn't know that meant she would end up telling him. And if he didn't know she could lie and say her cat did it. BUt, Jordan was never one to lie.

Justin shrugged yet again and followed Katie and Jordan to the Three Broomsticks. He walked in and sat across from Jordan and thought about the many mysterious things that his two friends seemed to be thinking. Oh well maybe he would find out later ,for now he ordered a butterbear and sat staring into the fire. He then said " What do you two want to do or talk about?"

Katie continued to look into the fire and she had that stare that the whole world was blacked out. She rocked back in forth and closed her eyes as she remembered her dreams that she was forced to watch in her comma. Katie touched her head and then was taken back as Justin spoke. She sighed and turned around in her chair and looked up at Jordan and nodded her head. "I dont know......" Katie said looking back into the fire. It shine in her eyes and Katie backed from the world again as she did in her comma. The thoughts wonted go away they just wonted go away! Tears went down Katie check and she didnt brother to bursh them away.

Jordan shifted in her seat uncomfortably, finally she spoke.
"I just can't take it anymore. It's all srewed up. God, how did life become so complicated? Okay, boy troubles, those were easy...parenting problems, no worries, murder and near death now those are big! I can't deal anymore. I need to do something, something besides...sitting here." She said, her voice was strong at the beginning but soon faded to a whisper as she continued to speak.
"Katie, it's all screwed up.."

Justin suddenly had the feeling that he should leave ,these were'nt his affairs. It was none of his business what was going on. He slowly made his way to get up ,but Madam Rosmerta alked up and handed him his butterbeer and he sat back down waiting for one of the girls to break the silence.

Katie looked up from the fire and at Jordan and nodded her head in her repsonse. "Yes its is all srewed up and I am just srewed up..... I am dealing with the pain with burning myself and I know its wrong but it helps....." Katie said looking at Justin as he almost left. Katie didnt wont him to leave he seemed to be the only person the two girls could talk to. Katie sighed and looked down at her side and noticed that she fogot to give Justin his prsent for Christmas. "Owe.... here" Katie said giving him the Gryffindor colored guitar case with fire works and joke books inside. "Look and see whats inside." Katie said with a smile and she looked at Jordan. There life was just so confusing to her and she didnt know what to do.
