Cedric followed Alexa to the counter, “It really didn’t take that much to understand Ancient Runes. I guess it’s just that I like it,” she said with a smile as he put her books on the counter and the cashier began to ring them up. “Umm I need to get a few ingredients for Potions, for school,” this was a lie, she needed to restock her medicine and she needed certain herbs to do it. “That’s won’t take long to get them. Everything else is just from the school list, you probably have a good idea about what I need to get anyway, since we are in the same year.” The cashier gave Alexa the price and she paid for her books, a quick spell shrank them to a pint size and she put them in her pocket. “I just couldn’t live without magic,” she said with a smile, Could you?” Alexa started for the door while waiting for Cedric to respond to her question. “Why don’t you pick our next stop?” she asked him politely.

((OOC: its illeagal to perform magic outside of school. Just thought you should know )) Cedric laughed as Alexa put her books on the counter and said "Well if you don't mind I wil stick to the ussuall subjects." Cedric smiled to her and listened as she talked about getting potions ingredients. "eah I had to go and get ingredients to refill my potions stuff." Cedric was half lieing about this. He had gone to get potions ingredients, just some weren't for school. Cedric had a room hidden inside of his bedroom in which he worked on creating new potions. Cedric as pretty skilled at potion making so he did farely well at making new ones. "Yeah I pretty much know exactly what you need for this year." Cedric said laughing. Cedric watched as Alexa shrunk the books and he smield and followed her out of the shop. "Ok." Cedric said "Let's go get those potions ingredients."

((I know. You have to be sixteen to get away from it, and I am. At least I think so. )) “You’d better,” Alexa said about Cedric sticking to the usual suspects. “You already got your potions stuff? That’s good. It is very useful to know exactly what you are dealing with for the new school year. Last year there were too many surprises, Umbridge and all that,” she said, partially thinking of her illness. The two left Flourish and Blotts and headed for the Apothecary, “Today is rather splendid don’t you think? I mean it is so clear out.” The two continued on and were soon at the door of the Apothecary. Alexa pulled the handle on the door and walked in, she held it open for Cedric. Inside, the air smelled of rich herbs, all intermingled, it was delicious, yet not. Alexa always wondered why it always smelled that way. She looked at the shopkeeper, who had noticed them come in, and gave him an acknowledging nod before going to find the ingredients she needed. She picked up several things; the dirt from a Ukrainian bog; the leaves of a Giggle-green; the tongue of a cobra; and several other things. When her hands were laden and she was sure she had every thing she needed, she paid for them and arranged to have them delivered to her home. “Well I’m all done,” she said to Cedric after thanking the shopkeeper. “I’m a bit hungry. Why don’t we grab a bite in the Leaky Cauldron? Unless there is something else you would like to do first?”
