Wandering a strange part of the Castle ((ANYONE))

[Sadie Rivers H6]

Sadie wandered around the castle, just watching everyone else hang out with their friends. She had been unable to find any of her friends that day, and was bored out of her mind. There was nothing to do, except wander around.

Sadie continued to wander. She had wandered herself down an empty hallway. She wasn't sure where she was going, and all she could hear was the clapping her shoes made on the hard floor. The hallway was nothing like the ones that she had been down before.

Sadie looked around to see if she noticed any of the paintings on the wall, and wasn't able to recognize any of them. She continued walking but had no clue where this hallway was leading her.

Suddenly, when Sadie had stopped to rest a second on a strange couch that was in the hall, she heard someone else's shoes tapping on the floor. Sadie just sat there, she didn't know who it was or maybe what it was. She couldn't see that far down the hall.

Ali was lost and she knew it. She had past the same painting five times and still didnt know where to go next. Ali hated this hall it was new and the echos were loud and she was tired. All of a sudden she heard a new set of echos. It was someone elses shoes walking down the hall. She walked back and forth a few time wishing there was a room she could hide in for a few minuets. Then there apeared a door in the wall. Ali opened it and slipped in hoping the mysterious person wouldnt find her. She wasnt afraid or anything she just didnt want to get in trouble with anyone.
Ali listened at the door until the she couldnt hear the falling of footsteps. She steped out into the hall and the door disapeared. This wasnt a new trick the castle liked to play so she thought nothing of it.
She turned to the right and began to walk down the hall hoping to find a way back to her common room or the great hall. There about halfway down the hall was a couch with a girl sitting on it. She looked tired and a little sad. Finally someone to lead me back Ali thought.
"Hey do you know how to get back to the Great Hall I'm a little lost" Ali practically ran the rest of the way to the couch.

Terra walked down the empty corridors utterly lost. She had no idea where she was, which made her feel uncomfortable. Terra always liked to know what was happening; it always made her think of a practical solution. Now, wondering in an unknown part of the castle was not the best thing to do. Terra's red hair was in a pony-tail. Some of it had come loose and was hanging in her eyes; as usual. She looked down one hallway then another; hoping for some sign of remembrance. Seeing none, she walked around the corner to see if her little adventure would end there. It did not, however, instead it only got even more confusing. Nothing looked familiar. Terra sighed unhappily and continued on her way.

Puffing and huffing, Terra sat down on a near bench. She had thought that she had heard noises coming from the end of that hall; voices actually. After resting for a few moments, Terra stood up and walked down the hall. Her high-heeled shoes were slapping against the floor as she approached two girls. One seemed younger than Terra and the other seemed about the same age. Stopping close to them, Terra eyed them warily. She was trying to guess if one of them were in Slytherin, but she couldn't succeed. Looks aren't everything.

"Hi!" Terra said brightly. "Er...sorry but I'm lost here. Do you know which way to go?" Terra looked from the left to the right, noticing that the hall was like a main river. Lots of tributaries leading off of it. In other words, lots of corridors coming apart to go in it's separate direction. She sighed and turned her hazel eyes back unto the girl, awaiting their reply.

The two girls come up to Sadie at the same time, and she could tell that both of the girls were older than she was. It was hard to believe that two girls that had been at Hogwarts longer than she had were lost too. " Umm.. Hi I'm Sadie," She said, not sure how to tell the two girls that she was lost too.

" I'm lost too, but I think the two of you showing up may have given me an idea of how to get out of here." Sadie said thinking as she spoke. She didn't know which direction that each of the two girls had come from, but she knew that they had both come from opposite directions of each other. This had given her an idea, because she did remember which way she had come.

" I wandered down this corridor, just to see what was down it, really just passing time. But I know that my journey down it had started in the Great Hall." Sadie said. She knew that the two girls would wonder where her idea was leading too, so she tried to explain.

" There are only two ways to go in this hallway, right or left, now if I came from that way," she said pointing to her left, " And I had turned down this corridor from the Great Hall, then surely if we go that way it should take us back to the Great Hall. But if we go toward the right, then should take us out of here, the same way that one of the two of you got down here." She explained.

" By the way, where is here? Where does this corridor lead to, do either of you know?"

Seth had been wandering the halls for hours, lost. He had know idea where he was. He had passed what looked liked the same hallway 5 or 6 times. He was getting frustrated.He could hear the distant eachoes of people. He was getting hungrey and tired. Hw was going to lunch. He only had a few more classes today and he wanted to get to them. He thought about how mad Snape will be if he is late for potions. He didn't have a watch so he didn't know if lunch had started already or not but, he was very hungrey.He could allready taste the sweet food in his mouth and his mouth started watering while he thought allabout all the food he woould be eating when he got to the Great Hall, if he ever got there. He decided to go down a hallway that looked different and found 3 girls sitting on a bench
Seth wondered if they wer lost like him.They were talking silently. One of them was a Ravenclaw and another was a Hufflepuff. The third he couldn't see.They looked worried so Seth said"Hello do you girls know the way out?" He was trying to look confident as not to embasses himself. Hec was a little scared, not of Snape but of dying somewhere in the halls.

" That's what we are trying to figure out." Sadie said to the Slytherin boy. She was a bit rude, but only because she had gotten used to the Slytherins playing pranks on her, or acting like they were better than her just because they knew something that she didn't.

" Are you lost or are you just wanting to pick on us like your housemates would?" Sadie asked.

Mandi was walking calmly down the hallway. She'd memorized these passages, mostly because she liked to stroll them when she couldn't sleep and ended up out here even though the Fat Lady told her she'd get in trouble. Mandi smiled she loved taking risks and she loved trying to avoid Peeves, Filch, and Ms. Norris. She wasn't sure which one was worse if she ran into late at night. She shrugged as she continued down the passage way.

Voices filled Mandi's ears and her thoughts were subdued. There were four of them. Three girls and a boy. They seemed to be lost and Mandi smiled. She knew 7th years that still got lost around these corridors. Mandi came across them quickly and she smiled in a comforting way. "You all seem to be lost. Can I help you? I know these corridors like I know the back of my hand," Mandi smiled as she looked the four students over. Two or three of them were definitely 2nd years. The other looked to be around her same age almost, not older, but younger. She shrugged off her suspicions on who they were and smiled.

Flo was running after her annoying little brother who had just taken her wand. "get back here!!" she called as Tim turned a corner. Following, Flo ran round the corner and bumped into a bunch of people. She fell backwards and hit the floor. " oh im so sorry!" Flo cried as she got up. she realised shed seen one of them before. The boy. He lives near her, she was sure of it. " umm sorry, but can you help me? my stupid little brother stole my wand and a was chasing after him, until i ran into you guys." Flo was hoping they would help, she was having a tuff time keeping up with her brother becuase he was so much faster than her. Waiting for the Groups reply, Flo dusted her self off.

((It's okay, I wanted to make new friends so I opened the post to anyone who wanted to join. And for it seeming dead, I thought so too until Seth posted))

Sadie was shocked that someone had finally stopped to help them. She had been in the corridors for hours now, and was still a little confused. " Hi, I'm Sadie." She said to the girl who had just walked up. " Yeah, we're all trying to get back to the Great Hall, so we can get some lunch, but we got lost." She told the girl.

Suddenly someone ran into Sadie's back. She didn't know what to say. She turned around, and offered the girl a hand up. " It's okay." she said as the girl apologized. The girl asked if they could help her catch her little brother. " I'll be glad to help, as long as I can find my way out of here afterwards." She said somewhat jokingly.

Flo had thought the group wouldnt help but then one girl said they would. Flo was very happy to hear that. " oh wow really? thanks thats great! umm i think he went this way." pointing down the hall, Flo started to walk, hoping the others would follow

Sadie began to follow Flo, as she told the others that she would be okay, they needed to find the way out. She could handle herself, and anything that came her way.

Sadie jogged to catch up to Flo. " So why's your little brother always so mean to you?" She asked.

Flo smiled. It seemed nice that someone came to follow her. " oh well properly because I'm mean to him." Flo laughed and explained to the girl what she named her cat, Squibbles, because, she would call Tim a squib. but he wasn't really. he was just, no that very good. she started to seed up, still hoping to catch Tim and get her wand back. " so, by the way, I'm Flo" she said breathlessly.

Mandi watched the as a girl ran into Sadie's back. Figuring that it was an accident Mandi smiled. The girl seemed to be running after the boy that had just went by them. She asked for help following him and Sadie replied at once. Mandi thought about it for a second. She didn't think that the others wanted to and they needed to find their way out of the corridors.

"I'll catch up with you in a sec," Mandi replied as the girls started after the boy. Mandi turned back to the lost students and smiled. "If you go straight down that hall and take a left you'll come to a passage way that leads to the stairs. However, don't take the stairs they'll lead you to the dungeons. Take the second door on your left and through there you should be able to find the staircase down to the first floor and from there the Great Hall will be on your right. Take care," Mandi smiled as she ran off to join the two girls.

Mandi arrived just in time to hear the girls name. "Flo and Sadie. I'm Mandi. I'll help you find your little brother." Mandi walked beside the other two for a while in silence searching the corridors for signs of the small boy.

" What year is your brother?" Sadie asked Flo. She thought back to the time at the beginning of the year when she wasn't any good, and if it hadn't been for one of her friends, she would still be horrible.
" Thanks for helping those others out Mandi, I wasn't to worried about it. I would have grasped my directions after a few minutes of sitting there, but I couldn't have helped them." She said turning to Mandi

Sadie continued to look for the little boy, as the girls walked down the corridor. Suddenly she spotted something or someone moving just up ahead of them. She quickly motioned to the other two to be quiet and pointed it out to them. " Do you think it's him?" She whispered to the others

"oh thank you Mandi!!" Flo kept on running. "he's in 2nd year." she said, answering Sadie. Then Sadie spotted something. "Maybe i dunno, lets follow them anyway." they ran around the corner as Flo's little brother vanished behind another door."he went that way!!" Flo shouted. "come on!!"

Mandi smiled at the two girls when they thanked her for telling the others how to get out of the corridors. Mandi laughed to herself, that's if they could remember all of the directions she gave them. Oh well. Mandi listened to the conversation that seemed to have been on the topic of Flo's brother, when Sadie stopped them. Looking up the corridor Mandi saw something. She figured it had to be Flo's little brother. They went to the corner and watched the figure. Soon Flo shouted out to follow the figure. Mandi laughed at the situation before she followed Flo trying to figure out how fast the little boy was. Mandi hoped they didn't get turned around in the corridors while they chased the boy. Some places she didn't even know how to find herself out of. Turning her attention back to the chase Mandi smiled as they continued to run after the little boy.

"Right Tim you better stop or I'm telling dad!!" Flo shouted at her brother, "That usually works." she said to Sadie and Mandi. It did. He put the wand down on the floor and ran off again. "Finally! Been chasing him from Hufflepuff Dormitories." Flo picked up the wand and inspected it. "Seems alright. Thanks you guys." Flo gave Sadie and Mandi a smile. "I asked about five people before i bumped into you two." Flo laughed. "So can i hang around with you two for a bit? I lost my friends after running after my brother." Flo hoped she would be able to hang with Sadie Mandi. it was really nice of them helping her out.

" All of my friends are busy with quidditch practice so I don't mind hanging out for a while." Sadie said smiling. " Oh, and Your Welcome, it was no problem. " She said as if she had suddenly remembered to say it.

Sadie looked around, she didn't know the area, but that was okay with her. The whole point of her trip down the corridor was to find new things about the castle.

" So, what do you want to do?" Sadie asked Flo and Mandi.

Mandi laughed quietly at Flo's little brother. He was definitely a little pest, but it was good natured annoyance from him. He just really wanted to have fun with his sister. Mandi looked back at the others as the boy disappeared. He seemed to know the castle pretty well for being so young. She wondered if he'd turn out like the Weasley twins'. "It was a pleasure chasing after your little brother," Mandi smiled.

"I'd love to hang out for a while. I've just been studying for finals. I'm pretty sure I know where we're at," Mandi said as she looked around. Sure enough the picture of a man in his swim trunks was hung on the wall a few feet down from them. They'd just need to continue down the corridor for a while and take the third right to get back to the main staircases.

Mandi thought about what they could do, but her only thoughts were of studying and that was definitely not something you could do with others. She looked around the corridor trying to find something that would be entertaining. She was at a loss as she stared around the hall. They could always go to the kitchen and get food. She'd done that several times on her light night walks. The house elves seemed more than willing to give her food and stuff to drink. She enjoyed talking with them about Hogwarts, mainly to see if they knew any good passageways around the school. Some of them did and those were the ones that seemed to enjoy her company in the kitchen more. "I really don't know what we could do," Mandi said as she forced herself back to reality.

" Maybe we could go to the kitchens and visit with the house-elves or get something to eat." Sadie said thoughtfully. She was getting kind of hungry. She had skipped breakfast because she was excited about exploring the castle. And food was starting to sound really well. She didn't know if the other girls would want to or not though.
