She narrowed her eyes in slight suspicion as some idea seemed to enter his mine and he turned away from her and started down the hall. Now, she never was one to follow, she instead preferred to lead, but she would give him the benefit of the doubt in his choice, after all, she had asked him if he had a location in mind. After a rather short walk they stepped through the castle downs and out into the deserted courtyard. She had been here a time or two before, though, more often than not, she found outside the castle to be hardly more tolerable than inside. At least now, it was not dirtied by mudded blood. She watched Pyro climb into the tree, standing at its base she looked up and raised an eyebrow. “Certainly you don’t expect me to climb up there.”

Pyro climbed up into the tree and stood on the branch and looked down at Danika. He shruged at her. "Climb up if you wish. I find this spot to be a good place to eat. Shame its usually overrun by moodbluds."
He gave a short sigh at this statement and than climbed higher into the tree. He disapeard from sight. No noise came from the tree so it was impossible to discover his position. The was a pause and than suddenly he poped out of the leavy canopy of the leaves. He droped and landed on the ground, rolling to absorb most of the damage. He easily got to his feet, wiping his recently acquired apple against his shirt.
He took a bite from it and walk back to the tree and Danika.

She stayed where she was, looking up into the tree at the younger boy. She had already given over to the fact that he was rather odd; A strange mix of opinion, one that was not always the right one, and a desire to follow; he also had a strange sense of energy and defiance about him. Once she thought she had formed an opinion on him, he managed to alter it slightly. Yes, he was rather odd. Disappearing, reappearing, falling and regaining.
She was still facing the tree, and did not turn around to face him until she heard him walking towards her. She heard him though, and was well aware of his presence. Only then did she turn around. Leaning her back against the tree, she let her gaze settle upon him. “Full of surprises, aren’t you?”

Pyro reached her just as she turned around and faced him. He couldn't help but wonder why she was spending this much time with him. He was pretty sure he had her attitude pegged after their first meeting. That attitude didn't look to highly at him. Which brought up the question of why is she doing this?
Pyro took another bite of his apple as he looked at her and thought over this. He shrugged at her comment. "I find that surprises can do a person good. At least this way people never quite know what to expect of me."

She listened half heartedly to his comment. Most people she mad a sharp decision on and then settled on a final one later. Pyro, though, did not settle with her. It was as he said. Not knowing quite what to expect of him. He was a Slytherin yes, and not as pure of a one as others she knew. In her mind, the debate was still up on him. “And does your little…act, fool everyone?”
She was unaware of the time that it was, but she was not concerned with making it to her class on time, she had little intention of going to day. Class was hardly tolerable with the suffocation of the mudbloods around her. This so-called-school was letting anyone in these days, of which included people with no magical talent. It was pitiful.

Pyro finished the apple and twirled the core on his fingertip. His eyes never left the core but he continued to keep his ears open and listened to Danika. He looked past the core and glanced at Danika. He dropped his hand and let the core fall, he than kicked it back up with his foot and played "hacky-sack" with it for a moment before finally giving it a powerful kick and letting it fly.
Pyro watched it for a moment and than turned to Danika. "Well, I hardly call being yourself an act, but I suppose it works. The only people that have me pegged down are close friends of mine, but new people, are always surprised." He let a small smile of amusement cross his lips. "Why? Is it working on you?"

She watched him for a moment as he kicked his apple. Rather odd thing to do. Normally one would just leave the remains of their meal on the table and it would be taken care of by house elves or other servants.
“If you act was working, then I would have been fooled by it, though it seems as I have not been. And I believe that many can not “peg you down” though I have no desire for that. There is no need to understand anyone but yourself.” She paused for a moment, watching him before she proceeded. “Though I would guess you are trying to figure out what thoughts have been running through my head. After all, under what logical explanation would I be out here, with you of all people.”

Pyro shrugged at her comment. "Well, I do agree. The most important person to understand is yourself, but sometimes its bests to understand other people. That way, you can be assured of no...unwanted, surprises."
He was pretty surprised that she managed to guess his exact pattern of thought at that moment. What was she doing here? "Well, I cant say that I haven't, and I'm usually a pretty good guesser when it comes to this game." He looked at her and his eyes held a tone of complete seriousness. "So tell me, what does bring you out here? With me of all people?"
