[Caiest Hamilton S5]

"Great!" Caiest exclaimed clapping her hands together. She took another sip of the soda while trying to think of a good truth or dare question. That in her opinion was the hardest part of truth or dare. She could do all the dares just fine but she was always afraid others would think her questions or dares were stupid and pitiful. Pushing those fears aside Caiest looked at Thomas. "Since you were the first person to volunteer to play the game Truth or Dare?" She asked grinning almost evilly.

Thomas got even more uneasy with her smile and he felt a little tricked. Thomas was glad to see Def joined the game; it would be boring with just two people. Just as Thomas thought he would be called first "Just my luck." He said under his breath. He sat there for a few seconds then finally made up his mind. "Well I guess I chose dare." He said with a smiling hoping it's not to bad.

“Well, I don’t like it when people send dogs to attack my dates,” Dana scowled at Kris, who just grinned with amusement: “The duties of an older brother.”
“You’re not my brother,” Dana snapped irritably and Kris just shrugged: “Works the same.”
Dana scowled but Kris saw a twitch of her lipcorners before she sighed and scowled at her: “Anyway I’m a prefect so get out of my sight or I’ll send you to one more detention. Under Marie. I love seeing you in an apron and cooking.”
“Naturally, as I’m a much better cook,” Kris through over his shoulders while opening the door to the Room of Requirement. Waving to Dana, who just huffed and stomped past Kris entered the room with a smile still adorning his face.

Noticing that the Room of Requirement was a whole lot more crowded than he had thought. He had expected some lost hufflepuff who he could have kicked out without any problems. Or some nerdy Ravenclaw in hysterics about exams. Letting the smile disappear from his face Kris measured the people in the Room calmly, nodding to the only one of them he knew: “Caiest.”
Taking in the two others Kris glanced at his wrist-watch and raised his eye-brow: “What are you three? Just crazy or insomniacs? Night-time is usually meant for sleeping.”
Not feeling bothered by them Kris picked up a book that had appeared beside him and let himself fall into an armchair rather gracefully and stretching his legs out crossed them over his ankles while eyeing the three.

Caiest was startled out of trying to think of a good dare for Thomas by yet another person coming in. Looking up she saw Kris a boy she'd met once. He greeted her and Caiest greeted him back. "Kris." She said nodding to show that she was aknowledging him. He then asked what they were doing up. "I'm the crazy insomniac of the three of us. I'll let the others tell you their reasons for being up if they wish to do so." Caiest said finishing the rest of the surge soda and tossing it into a trash can by the side of her chair. "Oh we're playing truth or dare by the way you may join if you wish or you could sit there and be anti social the choice is yours." She said turning back to Thomas.

She sat there for a bit trying to think of a really good dare she really couldn't think of one so she just said the first thing that came to mind. "I dare you to play the guitar only for a little bit but you have to try it." She said holding the guitar out for him to take.

He looked over to the door when it opened It was a much older slytherin. Then he asked if they were crazy or insomniacs. Thomas raised his hand when he said crazy, which he meant as a joke but you could say he was. Then he looked over at Caiest you finally found and good punishment or dare for him. She told him to play the guitar the best he could which was going to be awful. "Well ok I warn you it's going to be bad."

He grabbed the guitar from Caiest, didn't know what to play really or how to play it. So he just started to play some cords which sounded bad, he did this for about thirty seconds then put it down. "I guess it’s my turn then?" He said hoping he was right.

Caiest refrained from wincing. Thomas wasn't the best player in the world when it came to playing the guitar but he wasn't to terribly awful. "You know." She said looking at him in a contemplating manner. "If you had some lessons or at the very least practiced the guitar you'd be pretty good." She said. She wasn't just saying that either she only said what she really meant and she thought that Thomas had some real potential. Shaking her head to clear her mind she returned focus to the game at hand. "Yeah it's your turn. Although we should probably find out if Kris here is going to play or not. It would make the game more interesting if he plays." She turned her attention to Kris. "So how about it will you play with us?"

The Hufflebuff boy – for some reason hufflepuffs often reminded Kris of teletubbies - was dared to play a guitar and Kris looked up curiously. He could play himself and had a pretty good ear for music. The boy had finished about 30 second later and Kris was extremely grateful for it.
Kris shuddered: “Well, if Caiest teaches you – fine. But please don’t ever pick up a guitar again in m presence or I’ll bless you with a couple of specially selected curses that WILL hurt. And just to get things cleared up – that’s not a threat. That’s a promise.”

Kris turned the book in his hands and shrugged: “I won’t back up from a dare. As for you – are you three you’d survive my dares?” It wasn’t really a yes or no completely. But it was as much Kris would say. If they took it as a yes – Kris would live and maybe amuse himself with some of the dares. If no – Kris would still amuse himself with watching their dares.

Caiest didn't look at Kris or Thomas. She was semi upset that he dissed Thomas at his lack of guitar playing skills. She wasn't joking when she said all he needed was some practice to be good. And she thought Kris's comment was completely uncalled for. It was Thomas's first time playing. She didn't say anything however it really wasn't her place to say anything. She never really spoke her mind choosing to keep things from escalating into arguments. No she wouldn't say anything about it but she really didn't like the comment.

Kris's comment about the whole playing Truth or Dare was kind of cryptic it really couldn't be taken as a yes or a no. She supposed it would be dangerous taking it as a yes he seemed the type to come up with really bad interesting dares. So she took it as a yes. She was never one to really back down from a dare and the way he phrased it she took it as a dare. "I'll take that as a yes so now we have four players. This could get interesting. And if I'm not mistaken it's Thomas's turn to truth or dare someone."

Daf turned around to look at the newcomer, a boy named Kris.

Thomas took his dare at playing guitar.Caiest is right. He has potential

As Kris joined the game, Daf waited for Thomas to come up with something.

Thomas didn't really listen to the Slytherin Thomas learned long ago there’s no real point to listening what they saw. "I'll just do my best not to be in your presence and that is a promise." He said with a straight face that he hadn't used since he had been in this room. Thomas sat there thinking of who to ask next. ” Well I’ll save Caiest for later and have some real fun." He thought looking at her and smiling.

” The slytherin, well I don't really want to hear his voice right now so not him." He thought turning his eyes to Def " perfect. " He thought laughing to himself. "Ok Def Truth or dare?" He said smiling he was back to his normal self now.

Daf looked up as Thomas called upon him for truth or dare. Weighing the consequences in his mind of each choice, he finally decided.

"Truth."

Thomas sat back again smiling. "Well lets see truth ok." He sat there thinking of something to ask. He looked around the room for ideas he really should have though about a question before he asked Daf. A few seconds in thinking he came up with a great question. Well maybe not great but better then some of the others that came to him.

"Ok Daf, what is your worst nightmare?" He said smiling truth and dare was pretty fun when it wasn't him.

Daf sat quiet for a few minutes as he tried to think of something that was his worst nightmare.

"This question could be taken two ways. Do you mean what is my worst nightmare Ive had while sleeping? or something I'm afraid will happen?"

Thomas laughed it was just as he thought a Ravenclaw would say. "Ok Mr. technical." He said laughed and smiled. He thought which would be better. "Ok what is your worst nightmare?" Then he added." And don't lie."

"Hmm" Daf sat back in his chair and closed his eyes in thought.What's my worst nightmare?

Daf opened his eyes. "Ok. My worst nightmare would have to be this one where I dreamed my house was on fire, and I couldn't get out. Lame, I know."

Dafydd looked around at the others, stopping when his eyes reached Kris.

"Kris, truth, or dare?"
