Dix chuckled, "Whoa whoa whoa, back off P." She said with an amused grin, "I was just asking out of good natured curiousity. As good of nature a Slyth can get. Why? Are you hiding something?" She raised an eyebrow but, didn't say anything more. Instead she tilted her head.
"Do you do anything else? Or- do you live, eat, drink, and breathe martial arts? I mean, that's cool if you do. But, isn't it a bit- routine?" She asked. Inquistive today. But, Dixie didn't care. She was having fun.

He narrowed his eyes at her as he continued to eye her. Alright fine, if she wanted to play innocent, than that’s how it was going to be. He looked away from her, changing back into his usually carefree type attitude. He shrugged. “Nah, not hiding anything. Just looked a bit suspicious.”
He shrugged again. “I suppose you could say its, routine. I do other things, but not as well as I do martial arts. Martial arts are what I have been doing since before I can really member, and I do them well, so I stay with them. I do enjoy wizard duels, but, since I practice more on the physical aspects, my magical aspects aren’t as strong as I’d like them to be.”
Dixie smiled, and shook her head. He was hiding something. And she knew it. She put her hands on the table and leaned closer to him, "Listen, I am not gonna ask you something you don't want to answer. Your life is your life. So lighten up a bit and stop being so suspicious of me. I'm not like other people, okay?" She smiled again and stood up straight. She grabbed another grape and popped it in her mouth. Chewing thoughtfully.
"So you like to duel? But, you're lacking in the magic area? Are you passing any of your classes?" Dixie asked with a smirk and a voice oozing with sarcasm. She happened to be great with magic, one of the few things she was good at. Dix tilted her head at Pyro and smiled innocently.

He eyed her again as she told him he didn’t have to answer if he didn’t want to. Judging from her earlier reaction she already knew something. He decided to dismiss it. He remained silent.
Her passing classes comment made him snap his eyes to her. “Of course I’m passing. I’m not a complete idiot.” He looked at her. “So, what about you? Is your gymnastic all you do also? Is it routine? Do you do anything else besides dancing and gymnastics? You mentioned training earlier. What kind?”
"Not the kind you're thinking of. I'm actually interested in becoming a registered Animagus. So, I study most my time. Haven't really gotten around to asking Professor McGonagall if she can help me." Dixie answered with a small nervous smile. No one knew what she did on her spare time.
"For Gymnastics, I just do those when I'm bored or need a good work out. I dance too, but only a little. Kori's the dancer. Not me. My life's pretty routine, though. Wake up, go to class, study, go to bed, repeat next day or when desired. I'm like a bottle of shampoo. You know, without the rinse cycle." Dix added with a sigh. It amused her some, not enough to make her feel any better. But, some.

He arched an eyebrow. “Animagus training huh? I’ve always wanted to try that, only problem is I haven’t found a animal I like enough to transform into.” He gave her a curious glance. “Kori? Do you by chance mean Kori Williams?”
He gave a small laugh. “Well if your life is so routine, why don’t you just brake it. Skip a few classes. Sneak out at night. Something so that your not stuck in a daily routine. Especially if that routine is boring you.”
"Well by the books I've read, you don't chose your animagus form. The form chooses you. It would interesting to see what form you would take, right?" Dix picked up a book that was by her chair she had been sitting in before. She flipped through it, and found pictures of transformations. She sighed again, and glanced up when Pyro said something about breaking the routine.
"Brea-break the routine? I wish. No, it's too risky." Dixie said with a small sad smile, "Well," She looked at him, "maybe." She wasn't going to answer the Kori question just yet. Not very happy with the girl.

Pyro sat down on a table opposite her. He gave her a amused smirk. “what’s this? Did I just hear a Slytherin say ‘To risky’?” He chuckled a little.
He fell quiet for a minuet as he became a bit more thoughtful. What type of animal would he turn into? It would be fun adventure to try. Now if only he could sit still and study that.” Well, It would be pretty fun to go and see what animal form would choose me.”
Dixie laughed and handed Pyro the book, "Read. It does someone good." She said with an amused smile. Dix laughed lightly and shook her head.
"Yes, I just said too risky. If you tell anyone I said it though, I will d-e-n-y deny. You don't know my parents. I supposed to be this perfect little angel, who does what she is told, and..well...I;m not that person. So I satsify them by, doing my best and keeping to the set routine they sent me." Dixie rolled her eyes at the thoughts of her parents.
"It's too bad I can't find anyone who's a bad influence on me. If I broke routine, I could probably blame it on them. No one wants to be my friend though, Kori does it out of pity. And well- you are really the only person I have spoken to in Slytherin."

Pyro took the book and looked down at it. But after reading a few sentences he put it down muttering. “Kind of boring to read at this moment.” He smirked at her. “Well, you know I can always sneak into Snape’s room and steal a potion from his class that will force you to tell the truth, than it will be a bit hard for you to deny.” He got another thoughtful look on his face. ”Judging from the last time I snuck into his room though, I might be able to convince him to give me a small amount.”
“Who says you have to blame it on anyone. If your not caught, than its all good.” He grinned. “So far I’ve only gotten caught once, and I wiggled my way out of getting into to much trouble. In fact, I got off much better than I had started. I was able to keep what I had made, and I had gotten permission from Snape to ask him for any potion ingredient” He shrugged. “It pays to brake routine sometimes.”

"Blaming is fun. Don't you know that?" Dix laughed and pulled seat up, she turned it backwards and sat down, so she could rest her arms on the back of the chair, "Like I said, you don't know my parents. Ever hear of the Holden's? If you have, then you would understand. My parents are the nicest and best parents around." She laid her head on her arms and sighed deeply, "They're so damn annoying."

He chuckled a bit. “Yea, I know what you mean with annoying parents. My parents were flat out bastards. Mother really wasn’t involved in anything. Father, now there was a controlling freak. He tried to control every little aspect of what I did. When I was younger me and the old fool actually got into a fist fight. Thanks to my training it turned out to be a draw. Than as soon as I got into school though he started to fight with magic, and I cant use magic outside of school.” He growled a bit as he thought back to those days.

Dixie looked up, her eyebrows narrowed, "Really?" Ok, now Dix wasn't playing dumb. She knew about some things, her parents had sent word to her but, she didn't believe half of them. And she thought her parents were bad, "Can't wait until you're free of them? I know I wouldn't. Can't." Dix added with a small, unamused smile.

He leaned back a bit and chuckled. "Meh, im already free of them in a sense." He said absently.

" My father has disowned me, I've been striped of my sir name, and I've lost all my possesion that I kept at my house..." He stopped suddenly, realizing what he had just said. He silently cursed himself. He looked over at her. "Well, now you know I guess."

"Yeah. Now I know. It's for the better, though, right? I mean you said your parents were bastards." Dix said, she stood up, swinging her leg over the seat of the chair. Then with one swift movement, she swept her foot back and kicked the chair against the wall, making it splintering into pieces.
"You know...you do have rights. You can get your things back. And well, my family's got your back. And if they don't. I do. But, you don't get help for free." Dixie told him, her arms crossed over chest and smiled innocently.

He looked at her. "Yes it is for the better, but it still pisses me off, and my stuff was destroyed if not sold. As they are my parents they technicaly have legal ownership over my stuff, since they were the ones who bought it for me." He sighed and sat back straight muttering. "I've only I could get a hold of a lot of power, than I could get revenge." He grined as he thought of a dark source that could give him a lot of power.
He looked at her again. "It aint going to be free huh? What do you have in mind?"

"Remember when I said I needed a bad influence?" Dix asked with a tilt of her head and a smug smile, "How bad of influence are you?"
"And revenge? Sweet. But always comes back and bites you in the ass." Dixie smiled again.

He gave her a amuesed grin. "I can be as bad as you need me to be, and revenge is sweet and it only bites you if your not skilled enough."
