Justin was sitting in the common room when he remembered that he had to study. ((Great ,)) he thought ((now I have to study on my the weekend.)) So he ran up to the boys dormitories and grabbed his bag and put his charms and DATDA books in it. He headed back down to the common room and out the portrait hole and down the stairs. He looked out the window and noticed that it was a sunny cloudless day. Man now he was mad at himself for forgetting about studying. When he reached the library Madam Pince looked at him and had a look on her face as though he was dirt ,though maybe cause the year befor he had lit up fireworks in there ,but he did'nt care. He headed to the table in the back and sat down and began to study.

Jordan Cortes walked swiftly into the library, the quiet library. But Jordan wasnt quiet, she was loud, and she couldnt help it. Madame Pince looked at Jordan as thought she knew what was coming next. Jordan smiled innocently and grabbed a book before sitting down at the nearest table. She was too near the door so she moved and saw a table in the back where a boy sat.
"Mind if i sit here?" She asked sweetly, but quietly.

Justin looked up as a girl came over to his table and asked if she could sit there in a quiet voice. He said " Sure go ahead." not at all keeping his voice down. He pulled out the seat beside him and said " Heres a seat." Then he looked at Madam Pince ,who was eyeing the two. Justin looked back at the girl and said "It's to quiet in here, but anyways, my names Justin Lionheart and you are." he asked in a polite voice. He did'nt know why Madam Pince did'nt like the girl ,but he was going to find out.

Jordan smiled,"I'm Jordan Cortes.And I agree it is way too quiet in here. And if I didnt have a detention later on today I would be talking up a storm. But one detention I can handle, two, no way." She said opening her book and skimmed through it, looking at the pictures and reading interesting words.
"So what about you? She seems to be staring at both of us. If she stared any harder her eyes would pop out of her skull." Jordan looked up from her book and smiled.

Justin looked at Jordan and smiled and said " I'd cause some mayhem ,but I also have a detention." He then said " Anyways ,Jordan why do'nt she like you?" in a nonexistant whipser. He looked around and saw that Madam Pince had walked off ,she was probably keeping an eye on them somehow ,more than likely by spying on them. He then looked back at his book and saw that he had lost his page. He flipped through it looking for the page and found it ,then he said " What are you in here for?"

Jordan turned the page of the book. The memory of what had happened flooded back into her mind. She didnt mean to, okay maybe she did, but not like that.
"Well, its stupid but, you know the rumor about the whole third floor being flooded? Yeah, I sorta did that. But I only meant to flood the first corridor, it didnt end up that way. Heh, its funny if you think about it." She said glancing back down at her book. She sighed, and slammed the cover down.
"This is SO boring! I need another book. Be right back!" And with that she jumped up out of her seat and ran to the book shelves. Placing the old book in an empty slot and finding another one. She walked back to the table and sat down again.
"Okay, I'm good." She said with a smile.

Kelsey walked into the library, sighing; wishing that she didn't have to study on such a great day. She hated to study and the need to blow somthing up just to make someone mad was overwhelming! She sighed, trying to calm her need to make trouble and sat down at an empty table.
The table next to her was occupied by a boy Kelsey had never seen before and Jordan Cortes; a friend of Amelia Richardson (who is one of Kelsey's best friends). This boy was extremly good looking. Kelsey's breath caught and she stared for a moment as he talked with Jordan.
She tore her eyes away from the dreamy boy and looked around at the shelves of books. Kelsey jumped when she saw a face staring at Jordan and the boy through a stake of books. She put a hand on her heart and tried not to go up to her and yell at her for spying... after all it was rude.
She opened her book and scanned it. Nope didn't like it, she turned to her other book (the one she wasn't sopposed to read) and began to read.

Jordan's eyes wandered around the library, searching for an escape. When nothing came to her eyesight she skimmed the tables. A girl sat at the table next to hers and Jordan recognized her. Had she seen her with Amelia before?
"Excuse me, yeah, do you know Amelia Richardson?" Jordan leaned over to the girl and whispered, her brown eyes a glaze with curiousity.

Kelsey was rather taken aback by Jordan's swift move. She smiled and replied to her question about Amelia.
"Yes, acually Amelia is one of my best friends," Kelsey smiled, her green eyes amused. Kelsey had wanted to meet this Jordan for a while now. She looked back to the boy and smiled slightly dreamy. Then shook her head and found Jordan still staring intently at her. Kelsey worried for a moment that Jordan had caught her looking at her new found crush.
Kelsey smiled and looked back down at her book, her silky, wavy black hair hiding her face from Jordan. She couldn't read now, nerves had taken over. kelsey's green eyes read the same word over and over- sophisticated. Kelsey knew she would soon despise this word as how her stomach was in knotts.

Justin stared at Jordan as she got up and grabbed another book. He noticed a Madam Pinces face staring at them through the book shelves and he stifled a laugh. When Jordan sat back down he said "Well that was quick." He saw a very pretty girl that he had never seen befor walk in. He watched her and saw her stare at the place where madam Pinces Face was and saw her jump.He laughed a little ,but not much then he saw her sit down at the table next to them and begin to read.
He watched as Jordan leaned over and talked to the girl. He stared at the girl,but she turned her head at him and he quickly turned his head away hoping she had'nt noticed. He then leaned over and said " Hi ,what are we talking about?" then he said to the other girl" Oh and I'm Justin Lionheart, and you are?" in a very polite voice.

Jordan laughed lightly and went back to the table...this was getting her no where. She slammed the book again and realized she couldnt be quiet no longer.
"MADAME PINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled in a whiny voice. People jumped at the sudden loudness of the tiny petite girl and looked over at the table. Jordan smiled triumphantly and watched as Madame Pince walked over to the table curtly. She looked quite peeved and she didnt look too happy to be answering to Jordan.
"Yes, Ms. Cortes?" She asked with a small nod. Jordan jumped happily in her seat and placed her hands in front of her.
"I'm afraid that this room is too quiet...may I do something?" Madame Pince seemed taken aback.
"Absolutely not,"
"BUT!"
"No! One more word from you Ms.Cortes and I will pick you up and throw you out of this library myself." And with that the librarian strode off in anger. Jordan sighed defeatingly and turned back to Kelsey and Justin.

Kelsey's breath caught as Justin introduced himself. She nodded and took a hidden breath. She smiled then, her teeth showing.
"My name's Kelsey Maddison," she said. Before Justin answered Jordan slammed her book and made Kelsey jump. She couldn't help but laugh as she talked with Madam Pince. Kelsey smiled as she joined her and Justin again.
"Anyway," Kelsey smiled, "I have certain information as to you two getting into Detention many times," She smiled, the need to cause trouble started to bubble again.

Just stuck his hand in the pocket of his robes as Kelsey started to introduce herself.He saw her smile and smiled back. He said "Nice to meet you Kelsy." and started to hold out his hand ,but was interupted by Jordan slamming a book down and calling Madam Pince over. He stared as she talked to the librarian ,and as things went South. As Madam Pince walked off Jordan leaned back over torwards him and Kelsey ,so he pulled out his fireworks.
Justin said "Finally time to cause my monthly mayhem." he levitated the fireworks over to the open door and placed them in the hallway. He then pointed his wand at 'em and said " Relashio." and watched as the fuses caught on fire and they began to blow up left and right. Madam Pince rushed out and looked around at all the students in the hallway. Just quickly said "Accio to hi bag and put his wand in his pocket and simply read his book as though nothing had happened.

Jordan's jaw dropped and a small giggled escaped from her lips. She covered her mouth and turned back to the book she had on the table. She hadnt even looked at the title, and now she wondered. But mysteriously there was none.
"Oh well,"She sighed silently under her breath. Madame Pince stormed over to her table and looked down her nose at Jordan.
"MS. CORTES! FOLLOW ME!" She shrieked. Jordan's eyes got larger and she threw the book off the table before standing up and crossing her arms over her chest and looking up at the librarian.
"I didnt do anything!Honest!" Jordan said. Madame Pince put her hands on her hips.
"Then who did it?" She asked. Jordan licked her lips and stared defiantly up at the woman.
"I dont know."Jordan answered simply.

Justin piped up and said "Well Madam Pince ,why do'nt you think it's someone out in the hall? For all you know someone out there is having a laughing riot and here you are blaming an innocent girl and besides it was'nt her it was someone out there." Hed smiled with the look that came on Madam Pinces face as she belived him and went on with her business as though noting had happened ,but every now and then she would throw the three glances as though she expected a duel to start.

Jordan sighed with relief and picked up the thick book she had thrown on the floor. She sat down and layed her head on the table, her necklace clanking loudly against the wood.

Kelsey supressed her giggles as well as posible. She threw Justin a mischievious smile and then sighed as the need to blow something up came over her. She mentally wished that she could go for at least a week without wanting to cause mischief. She then leaned over and whispered to Justin, so that Madam Pince didn't hear-
"Can I join your 'Monthly Mayhem?" she asked him. Hoping with all her heart that he said yes.

JUstin looked at Jordan and whispered " No prob.At least she did'nt look at me. I could'nt have held my laughs in much longer." he then watched as Madam Pince stalked off. He then looked at Kelsey she threw him a mischievious smile and asked if she could join his monthly mayhem. He smiled back and said " Of course. Now I can form a plan." he then looked at Jordan and said " Do you want to join to?" he stared at her waiting for her answer.

Jordan sat up and toyed with her golden locket. He was waiting for her answer, and she wanted to give him one. But everytime she did something to cause Mayhem, word went out to her parents and there went a year of fun. But this she couldnt resist.She bit her lips and a small smile pulled across her face.
"Why of course!" She whispered ecstaticaly. (Yeah I know, I spelled it wrong) She toyed with her locket once more before turning to her book. The title, still blank.

Kelsey couldn't help but smile at her new friends. She sighed happily and turned to her book. As she read, Kelsey noticed that the words started to disapear. She stared at the letters as they slowly faded into nothing. She looked around wondering what was going on.
"Ok, this is weird!" she said turning the page as more letters became unreadable. She sighed in frustration, turning the pages.
"Now this is getting freaky!" she turned to Justin and showed him her empty book. She even showed Jordan asking what was going on!?
