Ivy looked at Katie, who seemed to be struggling with the same sorts of things as she had done when she was in first year.
"Look, not everything will get worse. I mean, you have loads of friends already. That's great! I didn't have nearly so many when I was your age. Maybe not all aspects of your life will be quite so great, and there are some issues that just won't resolve themselves, where the hurt runs too deep. But you have to go on regardless, because you'll hurt someone if you give up. Never think that there isn't someone who cares about you, because it isn't true."
Ivy hadn't replied to what Katie said about not talking about it any more, but she did now.
"We don't have to talk about it any more if you don't want to. Myself, I've come to terms with the hurt so that I can talk about it without it hurting me too much. Or rather I've blocked it off. I'm not sure that's the right thing to do, though. If it hurts you too much to talk about it, don't. Different things work for different people. If you get it off your chest once, I find that it's painful but you feel better afterwards. I don't know. I would talk to someone about it, eventually, the person who I was closest to. Do you have someone who you're really close to?"

"I guess our lives won’t get worse but we can’t tell the future or change the past" Katie said resting her elbows on her knees and putting her face in her hands. She was thinking for a moment if she knew some one special.
"I don’t really have a special person....... my father barley home and when I went to school I had no friends.” Katie said as she sighed. She was concerned a loser at her school. She never knew what it was like to have at least one friend. But now since she in a new school and can start over Katie learned what it is like.
Katie continued to look at Ivy resting her face in her hands. She was thinking of a new song she could write.

Ivy looked at Katie. She seemed to have forgotten the pain. Ivy wondered if the charm had started to take effect. But Katie didn't seem happy at all. Ivy thought it was time to move the conversation on.
"You'll find someone eventually," Ivy said. "I mean, when I was in first year it took me a while to get any friends, 'cos I'm not exactly as outgoing as you, but I've formed a bond with Kiyla... do you know Kiyla?... and now I have someone who I can talk to about what I need to. And vice-versa, I should hope."
As Katie didn't reply, Ivy cast around for a subject she could talk about. Um... what might Katie like?
"Do you like music?" Ivy asked Katie, hoping that the subject she'd found wasn't a dud.

Katie than was taken out of her daze. She looked up at Ivy and nodded her head.
"I love music I play the guitar and write my own songs also" Katie said proudly. It took her years to be able to play so well.
"My mom taught me how to play. Ever since I was four I been in singing and music contest and won first place in all of them" Katie said smiling. She tried to picture her self’s with ribbons on them.
"Do you like music" Katie asked Ivy. She knew everyone has a special talent. Sh pulled back her brown hair continuing to look at Ivy. She totaly forgot the pain that was in her leg and wrist.

"Cool!" Ivy said, smiling, to Katie's response. She'd never taken part in any competitions; she wasn't really the competitive sort. The only one she'd taken part in was the match against Ravenclaw, and that hadn't exactly gone well.
"Me?" Ivy asked. "Well, I certainly like music, when I get the chance. I can play the piano a bit, that's about it."
In better days, Ivy had used to play duets with her mother, but she barely touched the instrument now. It wasn't portable enough.

Katie continued to look up at Ivy. She kept pulling back her long brown hair out of her way.
"I tried almost all the instruments known to man or women kind" Katie said trying to list them from order.
"Theres the Drums, Bass Guitar, Flute, Piano, Violin, and many more" Katie said taking a deep breathe.
"Do you know any muggle songs" Katie asked.

Ivy smiled. There were many more, but she did not comment. She had a Muggle radio, which of course she did not use when she was at Hogwarts, but when she was not, she was able to listen to proper music and she knew that there were a great deal of other instruments. And that was only starting with the British ones...
"Muggle songs?" Ivy mused, more to herself than to Katie. She looked up at Katie. "Well, I know a few. What sort of Muggle songs were you thinking of?"

"Well I personal like Rock and Pop music" Katie said smiling. She had more but she didn’t really like to bore people.
"Some bands or singers I like are Evanescence, Avril, Jessica Simpson, and allot more" Katie said in a huff. She loved music so dearly and is trying to advanced more. She might be a singer when she grows up but she doesn’t really know if she is good enough.
"The people you need to watch out for are Brittany spears and Ashlee Simpson. To me she have no musical qualities" Katie said in a disappointed look. Katie hated people who don’t really care about their music and try to use their abilities to weird stuff.
"I get really confused because I don’t know what the wizarding world listen to" Katie said looking at Ivy with a confused gaze helping Ivy would tell her what she normaly listens too.

Ivy smiled. "I take it you'd like to be a singer then?" she asked.
Ivy continued to listen to Katie and answered her question.
"Well, there are pop bands in the wizarding world too, you know. And they're similar to the ones in the Muggle world, except that nearly all of them have talent." Ivy grinned at Katie. "Maybe you could become a singer in a band in the magical world. If that's the sort of thing you want to do. I shouldn't think that you have much idea at all what you want to do yet."
Ivy didn't have much idea either, but some were beginning to form.

Katie look at Ivy and gave her a big glowing smile.
"I know nothing about the wizarding world expect for Quidditch and Every bots of flavopr beans." Katie said smiling at Ivy.
"I will learn I just need to the right people to teach me" Katie said giving Ivy another glowing grin.

Ivy smiled at Katie.
"Well, that is what teachers and friends are for," she said, "among other things."
Ivy looked at the bandaged leg. "Feel any better?" she asked Katie.

Katie than got up and started to walk around Ivy her legs went hurting anymore.
"I feel allot better." Katie said smiling at Ivy to show her she was just in tip top shape.
"I was wondering if you would like to vist my house soon along with some other people i am asking" Katie said standing before Ivy smiling.

((Yeah, that's fine.))
Ivy made eye contact with Madam Pomfrey, who came out of her office and checked Katie over.
"Yes, that'll be fine for now," she said, conjuring some crutches that were just the right size for Katie.
They left the hospital wing, and Ivy answered Katie's question. "Cool! I'd love to." she said. "And I should think that's fine too." Ivy was slightly surprised; after all she'd only just met the girl, but still, maybe Katie just did things a bit differently. With Ivy, you had to know her really really well before you got an invite.
Ivy smiled at Katie. "So whenabouts were you thinking?"

Katie looked at Ivy still holding the crutches. She didnt wont to use them she wasnt in pain at all. It was maybe for talking to Ivy.
Katie smiled as Ivy said she will come and vist her home sometime.
"Thats great I cant wait!" Katie said returning the smiling.
"I will give you my address soon." Katie said as they continued to walk down the corridors.

Ivy smiled at Katie.
"Any idea where we're heading?" she asked, not sure of the general direction that they were headed in.
Ivy wondered what Katie's house was like. She presumed that it must be larger than hers (although most people's probably were), or else Katie would not be able to invite several other people as she had said she would.

"I think we are heading to the Libary i think...." Katie said turnly slightly pink.
"Great I am lost" Katie said in her mind as they contuied to walk.
"I think i can make it to the Gryffindor tower by myself." Katie said smiling. She didnt wont to leave Ivy but it was really late.

Ivy smiled at Katie.
"If you'll be OK on your own. Look after yourself!" Ivy called, as she turned to leave, smiling again at Katie before she went. It was getting quite late now and she ought to go down the the Great Hall for tea. It had been an eventful afternoon, but at least she had got a new friend out of it.

"I am just fine" Katie said walking up the stairs.
She than turned around and her hair followed her.
"We will see each other soon. Thank so much for saving my life." Katie said flashing Ivy a glowing smile.
