Dana smiled as her spell worked. “I have to remember to use it next time Kris is too stubborn to think,” Dana muttered to herself as Perseus was forced to sit down. Dana arched an eye-brow when Perseus jumped to his feet obviously angry. So much for the not too hostile duel. Well, Slytherins were always touchy, but they usually kept better control of their emotions. Smiling almost dazzlingly to Perseus, Dana grimaced mentally. Why did people always go towards the heart? It was so messy that way. Besides what was he planning on doing? Just knocking her out or stopping her heart? Accidents did happen and Dana was rather fond of her life, even though the OWLs coming up were nasty. “Protego!” Dana stated clearly as she waited for the protective barrier to appear around her, while sighing mentally and shaking her head – why did everyone always yell out the spells they wanted to use? It hardly ever helped the strength of the spell. Hoping that the spell had worked Dana brushed these idle thoughts away.

((Perseus casts Stupefy, he has a 50% success chance.
*Dice... 4... = 50%... Success!*
Perseus casts Stupefy. Dana casts the correct defense, Protego. She has a 62.5% success chance.
*Dice... 4... = 50%... Success!*
Dana casts Protego. Dana's Protego reduces Perseus' Stupefy from 4 points to 2 points.
Final Score - Dana 5.5, Perseus 5.0))
Mr. Feynman cast a good spell, but Miss Coran's defense was strong and she was certainly not knocked out. Amaryllis dispelled any of the effects it had had on Miss Coran with a wave of her wand and nodded at both students. "That was a well cast spell Mr. Feynman, a good defense too, Miss Coran. This duel is now over, neither of you may cast any more spells. Both of you have done very well, but I think that Miss Coran, you have shown exceptional skills in this duel. So I would say that you probably had the upper hand here." Amaryllis nodded at both of them cordially. "10 points to Ravenclaw, Miss Coran, and 10 points to Slytherin, Mr. Feynman." Amaryllis opened the door and stood behind it to allow the two students to leave her classroom.
((Are you implying something, Perseus?))

The protective shield appeared and blocked most of Perseus’ stunning spell for which Dana was grateful. She still felt a little dizzy for a moment, before the small aftereffects of the spell were lifted from her. Lowering and sheathing her wand again Dana nodded deeply to Perseus once professor Hardy had stated that the duel was over: “Thanks for the practice, Perseus.”<br>Turning and picking up her book-bag from against the wall, where she had previously left it Dana headed towards the class-room door with a smile. It was always good, when Ravenclaw earned points.
“Have a good day, professor,” Dana told Hardy with a smile and a nod as she passed her and left the classroom. She seemed to be more or less ready to take her practical OWLs, especially in DADA. Starting down the hallway Dana saw Kris passing on the other end and picked up her speed. Kris must have herd her coming as he turned on heel and caught her with one hand doing a 270 degree turn and then continuing towards wherever he had been heading. Most probably the kitchens, as Dana hadn’t seen him earlier at breakfast. A little snack would be nice Dana decided as the relatives moved forward together, even though Dana did most of the speaking and smiling as the relatives disappeared behind a corner quickly.
