((Haha thanks Mack but Ginny and Draco will be together one way or another even if JK keeps it out of canon As well, sorry I have been so quiet guys just haven’t had much inspiration but I am trying to bring my girls back…)) Mary leaned against a tree and listened apathetically as Tristan and Mack bickered. She would move up to defend Mack should need be of course but there was none, she could take care of herself just fine. Plus there was nothing Mary could say – she didn’t see any change in Mack but she wouldn’t so… She did raise an eyebrow as Mack asked if she would date a Hufflepuff. There was a time not long ago Mary would have said without a doubt so long as they were not Gryff they were good in her books but… something had changed. For the better though? She wondered uselessly – it was what it was and houses did matter. She did giggle though as Jack glared at her. She said what she thought was that such a crime? She was rather surprised to hear about Jack’s sister though. Her parents had of course taught her a bit about the other pureblood families considering everyone worth knowing knew each other. How had she then not known Jack had a sister? As far as her knowledge he was the only Rendel heir… That didn’t worry Mary so much as to question it though – she had never really had much of an intrest.

((Yes I realise that Mack is not like that but Tristan doesn't. This is his character who can't go and read posts. I can but he has never seen the extent of her malice. Don't worry. I do know what Mack is like from her posts. )) Tristan raised an eyebrow at Jack. Jack seemed to be getting involved in an argument, or dissagreement Tristan saw as the appropriate word, but he wasn't taking a side. Just sort of, going against both parties involved. Tristan also wondered what Jack's glare was about. What did it have to do with anything that had been said. "Mackenzie," He spoke softly, but with meaning, "I'v been in fights before, when I was younger and stupid. When I was too clueless to understand that violence doesn't change a situation. I would have thought you would be over any violent past you may have had by now. I thought you were an intelligent girl. And your ideas on labels are so narrow minded and horrible. Hogwarts isn't based on labels. If it was, these so called "Mutts" and "mudbloods" wouldn't be allowed in the castle grounds. Hogwarts is based on the for different people coming together to form a school. Despite their differences they founded this academy of magic for the future generations of magic."

((K. Just making sure...))
"I don't resort to much violence unless someone makes me so mad that I can hardly control my anger, if you knew me you would know that." Mack said pointedly, she shook her head and breathed in a deep breath- trying to control her annoyance. She was clenching her fists so hard- her nails were digging into her skin. Tristan was really getting on Mack's nerves.
"I am intelligent. Just not in the area of expertise you would like me to be in. Violent past? Violent past?! Tristan, I live with my father! It's not my past. It's my present and my future, and you don't just get over something like that. It scars you for life! For life! And my ideas are narrow minded and horrible?! They're horrible- because they're honest? Open your eyes Tristan! The school is made of labels! You're labelling me at the moment! You're labelling me as some goody-two-shoed Slytherin, when I'm not! Labelling and taking control of who are allowed in, are two total different things. I thought you were intelligent enough to see that. Even though they did, 'found this academy of magic for the future generations of magic', that doesn't mean they were completely happy-go-lucky about it. I'm sure there was conflict over where the common rooms would be- who would be allowed in the school- those sort of things. You can't expect it to be easy all the time." Mack rolled her eyes and continued to clench her fists.

Tristan was felling a little disturbed as Mackenzie started accusing him of labelling her and when her eyes rolled out of what seemed to be extreme anger Tristan wondered if she was really sane enough to be spending time with other people of she was getting so worked up over her own argements. He decided now would be a good time to leave,
"Mackenzie you seem to be mentally blocking the things I am saying to you. Whether that is because you are stubborn or you actually can't see the truth I'm not sure, but rest assured I'll look out for you in the future."
Tristan turned and left down a passageway of the castle calmly. He was feeling a little shocked at Mackenzie's strange behaiviour.

Mack plopped backwards, her palm of her right hand bleeding if only a little bit. She brought her hands to her face and withheld a scream. She was so frustrated!!! He kept saying she was blocking things out and that she only wanted to hear what she wanted to hear- but apparently he was the one doing that. She was making perfect sense to Jack, that was evident. Mack sighed and sat up, closing her eyes and tapping her foot.
"Am I insane? Everything I was saying was making perfect sense to me....what he was saying wasn't making any sense. Am I going crazy?" She asked no one in particular, she was just thinking out loud. Mack closed her eyes and made this sound that sounded like she was going to cry but she didn't.

Mary finally stood up straight as she watched the boy walk out of sight. “No of course you are not. He is the one who is out of his mind. ‘but rest assured I'll look out for you in the future’ Can anyone say stalker? I would be terrified if I were you Mack. In fact I am scared just because we share a bedroom – I don't want him sneaking in there to watch you and finding me instead.” Mary said with a slight giggle. She couldn’t help it – that kid was such a nutter it was hilarious. “You were making perfect sense though. It’s he who cannot grasp reality and I fear it will crush him in the end. You know the good thing about him staying close to you is he will be near enough to me that I can watch his agonizing defeat. That will be kick don't you think? A performance not to be missed” she said with a wicked grin showing she was not joking.
