Jake felt his face go slightly cold. It was one of Jake's few insecurities, singing in public. He racked his brains for an excuse and, failing, settled for -
"A song?" He said, finding his confidence and lowering his eyebrows at her, " 'Fraid I don't know any. And, afterall, don't you think all these people would be a tad suprised if I suddenly started singing?"

Riku smacked her lips. She looked at Jake as his expression changed. 'Oops. Hit a nerve,' Riku thought to herself, 'I'm such a moron.'
"You don't know any songs? Is it that? Or is it because you're afraid to sing?" Riku asked him as she lifted his chin up and smiled at him.
"C'mon please! If anyone even HINTS a laugh, I'll go Martial Arts on them. And believe me, I'm dangerous in that area. Even if I learned it when I was 6 until I was 10. I still know it." Riku said.

Jake grinned at her, shaking his head. He picked his ball up from the ground and got to his feet, cringing slightly as he put weight on his damaged ankle.
"Not a chance Riku Hiwatori," He said cooly, still smiling, "I reckon this is where I leave to get away from your request."
He glanced at his watch and felt his stomach rumble uncomfortably.
"I could do with some lunch about now, anyway," He told her, "Coming?"

Riku glared at Jake then began to laugh. 'Oh well, I'll just get him to do it some other day,' Riku thought to herself as she smiled at Jake.
"Alright. Lunch it is," Riku said as she got up.
"Don't hurt yourself, gramps," Riku said with a smirk as she talked about his ankle. "Need a cane?"

"Only to hit you with," Jake said shortly, ignoring the throbbing pain in his ankle and picking up his pace just to prove Riku he could. He looked back at her and grinned then headed up the steps, waiting for her to join him as they entered the Entrance Hall. ((Move post - we seem to be doing a lot of that lol - or end it here, seeming as though we're moving another one? Your choice.  ) |

Riku watched him as she winced. She picked up her pace as well.
"You're going to hurt yourself," Riku said seriously. She stood next to him and trogether they walked into the Entrance Hall.
