After a long morning of classes Elizabeth walked out into the courtyard. She sat down in a shady area and took a deep breath of fresh air. lovley day thought Elizabeth.
She had told her friends to meet her down here, but she had no idea if they were going to come or not.
Getting bored of waiting, Elizabeth pulled out her journal and started writing down her many thoughts.

Katie tucked her heavy winter jacket that she got back at home. It was bright scarlet red and a Gryffindor patch on it. Katie also pulled on her hat that was organe, her scarf that was organ and scarlet red, and her black mittens. It was snowing outside and Katie wonted to surpise people by throwing snow balls at them.
As she left the Gryffindor common room and went down the flights of the moving staircases and jumped over the trap steps she was thinking about how much fun it would be to throw a snowball at someone and it gave them pimples. Katie laughed at this thought and she found herself outside in a winter snowland. Katie eyes twinkled at the snow and she a smiled spread across her face and she pick up some snow and compact it into a dense snowball and she looked for her first target.
Katie than notcied Liz in the corner writing. How could she be writing when she snow on the ground and people needing to be hit with it. Katie crept up againt the trees and as she reached Liz she throw the snowball at her.
"Ha I got you" Katie said with a laugh as she picked up more of the powdery snow and compact it into a dense snowball.

Suddenly out of no where a snowball hit Elizabeth in the face. She looked up to see who had thrown it. It was only her friend Katie. "hello Katie." Elizabeth said with a mouthfull of snow. Elizabeth reached down, picked up some snow and slowly made a snowball behind her back.
"hey Katie have you had breakfast?" asked Elizabeth eyeing the snowball Katie had made. She threw the snowball with all her strengh and it hit Katie right in the nose. "well I guess you have now" laughed Elizabeth.
Elizabeth ran away from Katie, found a good spot, dropped to her knees, and started to pile up snow to make a poor looking fort.

Brooke watched from afar as Katie and Elizabeth indulged into a snowball fight. She giggled a little before she realized, 'What the heck am I doing watching?'
Brooke reached down and grabbed a chunk of snow, which she carefully molded into a sphere. She walked up quietly and chunked it at Katie's head.

Elizabeth saw that Brooke had just joined in and had hit Katie with a snowball.
Elizabeth started making snowballs as fast as she could so when they came after her she would be ready.

Liliane had a very long morning and needed a break. Elizabeth had told her that if she wanted to join her down in the courtyard. Liliane accepted and went outside.
When she got outside the grounds were completely covered in snow. Everything was white and Liliane smiled brightly at the sight. Winter was her favorite time of year.
She looked around and saw Katie,Elizabeth, and Brooke having a snow ball fight. Liliane laughed as a snowball came flying at her head. Liliane didn't want to just watch so she piled up some snow for the perfect snowball and threw it towards the girls direction.

Seeing that Lilane had joined in the snowball fight Elizabeth began to pile snowballs on top of eachother. She then threw a snowball in Lilane's direction and with incredible luck, it hit her on the arm.
"I will conquer you all!" yelled Elizabeth excitedly. "Come and get me if you dare, but be prepared to surrender!" Elizabeth yelled and dove under her fort for fear of being pumbled with snowballs.

The first snow had finally come to Hogwarts, so after a quick breafast with a few Hufflepuffs, she grabbed her faded blue jacket, and wrapped her yellow and black scarf around her neck, slipping her gloves on just as she stepped outside the door and into the chilly morning air. Once outside, she heard a few voices coming from down int the courtyard, and feeling brave she headed down the path, following the friendly yells.
Once in the courtyard, she caught glimpse of a familiar <keyt for hogwarts after the first storm--a snowball fight.

Ivy wrapped up warm. She needed a bit of fresh air, but there was no point in going outside to think. Ivy knew what she'd find out there.
Outside was bitterly cold. Ivy breathed in the cool air, but found it refreshing. She heard shouts coming from further along the courtyard. Cautiously, Ivy approached, to see Katie, Elizabeth and Brooke, as well as one girl she didn't know having a snowfight. Nokomis was standing out of sight of the others.
Ivy hated snowfights normally, but decided that it might be a good way to let off steam. She pulled on her gloves and, moved down towards Nokomis, alerting her to her presence. She gave her a grin, and, staying out of sight of the others, compacted snow into a strong ball.
Ivy grinned at Nokomis again, and leapt out of hiding, throwing a snowball at Brooke. She had to do that from behind, she just had to. Ivy ran up to Elizabeth's fort and ducked down behind it, grinning at Elizabeth as she did so. If Elizabeth chose to attaack her, fine, otherwise she had found an ally. In any case, Ivy was busy making another snowball.

Elizabeth looked at Ivy as she made a snowball "hi glad you could join us." said Elizabeth as she continued to make snowballs.
"I have a plan to beat them if your willing to fight a hard battle" Elizabeth looked at Ivy and smiled. Elizabeth was acting as if she was a general fighting a huge war to protect her country.
Elizabeth pulled her gloves on tighter and adjusted her coat, waiting for Ivy's reply.

"Sure thing!" Ivy said to Elizabeth, grinning. She threw a snowball in Katie's direction and ducked back down again directly, building the snow to her side as well so they were better protected. Her side was constructed with more care than Elizabeth's.
Ivy turned to listen to Elizabeth's suggestion, rolling another snowball as she did so.

Katie looked around and ran ten feet from where she was and pulled snow up into a fort. She was the poplar target and she had no one on her side to help her. She grinned as she was thinking about putting her special pimple potion in the snow and hitting her targets with the snow causing them to have pimples. Katie than pulled more snow up behind her fort and compacted it into a snowball and she peeked over her fort and smiled.
"Bombs away!" Katie said throwing the snowball hard at Nokomis. She smiled and grabbed another snowball from her collection and hit Ivy.
"That’s two for me!" Katie shouted than she remembered hitting Liz once.
"Never mind that three!" Katie said taking another snowball and hitting Brooke with it.
"Now four!" Katie once again shouted and laughed as she collected more snowballs and put them at her side hiding under her fort.

Elizabeth turned to face Ivy and smiled as she went over her plan.
"Well, I was thinking that you could distract them by throwing snowballs in every direction, while I disguise myself with an invisible charm. Then I will go to Katie's fort, destroy it, and you can run after her and fling snowballs at her. We can then go to Brooke with Katie out of the way and hit her from the sides. So you can take down who ever you want at that point and I will go after the other two people, or vise versa. You can pick who you want." Elizabeth finished and wanted to know what Ivy thought of "THE PLAN".
As she waited for a reply Elizabeth pulled her hat down further. She then quickly put a snowball togther.

Ivy smiled at Elizabeth. It was a pretty ambitious plan, using magic that was mostly far beyond her in first year.
"OK..." she said, grinning. She made a snowball and flung it at Katie. It shattered satisfyingly on the top of her head in a flurry of white.
Ivy started to manufacture snowballs at an alarming rate. Every now and then she paused to throw one over the top of the fort, hitting people every now and then. She was hit a few times, but not with loss of dignity.
Finally Ivy was satisfied with the number of snowballs. She picked one up and rolled it around absent-mindedly in her hand.
"Ready?" she asked Elizabeth excitedly.

Elizabeth was very excited Ivy agreed to go through with it. "ready." replied Elizabeth.
Elizabeth got out her wand that was sticking out of her pocket. After saying the charm Elizabeth noticed that she could no longer see herself, she was fading.
When she was completley invisible, Elizabeth crept towards Katie in the confusion, and without much difficulty kicked Katie's fort down. Elizabeth walked away as fast as she could and waited very quietly for Ivy to come.

Ivy grinned and started hurling snowballs in all directions. Quite a few of them hit people too. In the flurry, the invisible Elizabeth managed to get through and soon Katie's fort was down. Ivy smiled wickedly and gathered up all her remaining snowballs. She ran forward as quickly as she could in the snow.
Ivy grinned at where she presumed Elizabeth must be and started bombarding Katie with snowballs, hoping Elizabeth would come and join her soon.

Seeing that Ivy was hurling snowballs at Katie, Elizabeth smiled back at her and ran towards Ivy. She tapped Ivy on the shoulder and whispered "I think you should be invisible too." Signaling it was time to take down Brooke.
Elizabeth ran towards Brooke, assuming that Ivy had noticed that Elizabeth had just tapped her. Elizabeth stood right next to Brooke, still invisible and waited for Ivy to come, watching very closley for footprints in the snow.

Jordan wrapped her scarf around her neck and pulled her cloaks on. She ran out to the courtyard, forgetting she was supposed to meet Elizabeth there. When she neared the courtyard she laughed as she saw her friends having a snowball fight. Setting her shoulderbag in a dry place under a bench, she snuck behind a tree, bent down, packed a few pieces of snow into a ball, and threw it at Brooke.
"Hah! Gotcha!" Jordan called as she smiled broadly and hid behind the tree again.

Ivy looked round sharply as she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She smiled as she realised what Elizabeth had just said. She couldn't see her own hand, even when she held it up in front of her face... where was her face?
Ivy watched the footprints quickly appear towards Brooke. They stopped right next to where Brooke was standing. Ivy gathered up some more snow and flung it at Katie, who was looking just a tad confused. She'd soon figure out what was going on, however, and Ivy needed to get moving quickly.
Ivy ran behind Brooke. Elizabeth hadn't moved - there were no more footprints. Ivy moved backwards behind the tree. She nearly gasped when she saw Jordan. Instead she grinned to herself and made another snowball. She knew that Jordan would be puzzled for a few seconds - since she hadn't even been there since the start and probably wasn't even aware that Ivy was even around - but that after that she would notice that there was someone standing near to her. She could hardly fail to.
Ivy threw the snowball at Jordan, with good aim, and ran away, ready to dodge the snowballs that could not be well aimed at an invisible person, despite the fact that Jordan was a Beater, and ready to throw a few snowballs at Brooke.

Katie was laying on the ground with her face flat in the snow. Her face was completly red and stung from the bitter cold. Her ears felt like they were going to fall off with the cold. She smiled and got up and pushed some of the snow from her left side and bulid it up making her fort yet again. She than smiled and did the same with the other side.
She than collected more snow from the ground and hide beneath her frot making ten snows balls. She than grabbed one and threw it to Ivy. She smilled as she hit Ivy lightly in the head. Katie than directed her attention to hitting Liz. She took another snow ball and she noticed Liz had turned she flung it towards her. It hit her lightly in the back of the head and Katie laughed.
As Katie continued to throw snowballs she than noticed Jordan and smiled even more.
"Jordan over here I need help you too Brooke!" Katie shouted collecting more snow and making more snowballs. She smiled yet again as she threw the snowball at Ivy yet again.
