The real him ((Brooke))

Bee smiled as Brooke said she would. "I don't mind. You can go ahead and decide." She told the Raven before marching out the door. She looked up and down the corridor and found it about empty. She waited for Brooke and then they set off together.

" Lets go down to the kitchens. I would love to see the house elves." Brooke said rushing to catch up with Bee.

When they were side by side broke into a smiled and began to laugh. She could not stop. It was just too funny.

She smiled at Brooke as she caught up to her. Their footsteps echoed down the deserted corridor. Bee frowned, however, when Brooke suggested the kitchens. Bee thought that the house elves were treated unfairly; not that they were at Hogwarts. She thought that Dumbledore treated them well enough, but she had heard terrible rumors about how the pure-bloods treat their slaves. She shuddered and looked at Brooke in confusion as she started laughing. She looked around, guessing that she had seen something that appeared funny. Nothing was around that would cause someone to laugh, so Bee looked at Brooke, who was still laughing.

"Sorry, but what's so funny?" She asked with utter confusion. "I don't see anything funny around here, and I didn't say anything.... so what are you laughing at?"

Taking a breath trough her laughter Brooke explained to Bee why she was laughing. " Last night I got this owl and it had a compression. I just got it." Brooke laughed again.




Sitting down she looked a Bee. " Hey Bee can I ask you something?" She asked.

Her thoughts were running with her. They were going 20 thoughts a second.

Bee looked at Brooke with mild confusion as she sat down. Weren't they going to the kitchens? Bee sighed. Brooke seemed almost impossible to understand. What was she doing here anyway? She had heard the Brooke hated Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs, why was Bee talking to her in a friendly manner? She wrung her hands in her lap without looking at Brooke. She hoped that the girl didn't notice her discomfort. She didn't understand what Brooke said, so she stayed quiet until Brooke asked if she could ask a question.

"You just did but go ahead," Bee said with a small smile. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be questioned at the moment.

" This may sound rude. But I want a yes or no. Do you have feelings for Jack? Other than friend feelings. Please be honest." Brooke knew how to talk people. Her tone was called by many conniving. She didn’t want to but she had to use it on Bee.


Standing up she saw the girl was confused. She smiled. It was so much fun to make people confused. Because as soon as they figure her out. She does something not like her. Like one time her mom gave her a gold watch. Brooke never wore it. Her mom thought she forgot it. Than two years later she came down stairs wearing all black expect for the watch. Her mom fainted.

Bee almost jumped back from Brooke. She barely even knew this girl, let alone told her anything personal. What did she expect? Bee to open her heart to a girl she had just met? She shook her head sadly and didn't look at Brooke. Did she have feelings for Jack? She really didn't know herself. Sometimes she thought she did, and sometimes she thought that she hated him.

"No, we're just friends. That's all I hold for him in my mind." Bee said with a bit of anger coarsing through her voice. She felt like she had to ask Brooke something also. "Do you still? Did you ever?" She asked.

" Have feelings for him? Yes. At one time. But recently I have had my second thoughts. Especially since Rei is being in contact." Brooke said. This was her mind on her life for some time.



Turning her gaze to Bee. " Well let’s go to the kitchens." She said getting up.

Bee smiled at Brooke. "You feel different about him after he says no? Maybe you're just depressed." She said quietly. She got up and grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder. She had no idea who this Rei was. Apparently is was her old boyfriend or something.

"Who is Rei? I mean, is he a muggle?" Is he your boyfriend? She was dying to ask but she held her tongue. She led the way to the kitchens. She stopped at an empty corridor and looked around. Where do I go again?

"Do you know where to go from here Brooke? I'm lost at the moment. I haven't been to the kitchens very often." She looked around once again. "Is it to the left or the right? Or should we keep going straight?"

" Oh no!!! He is a wizard but he dropped out of school a while ago. He is now in L.A. He is an old boyfriend. We were close." Brooke said.


Stopping in the hallway Bee asked which way to. Brooke pointed to the right and they went that way.
