“A writer? But that’s great!” Liz said turning to look at Faith, “Wow, I have trouble even with my essays, as I’m not that great with words, but you… Wow…. Have you ever written anything longer or something like that? You don’t have to tell me, if you don’t’ want to, but I’m just curious.” Liz quickly added, as to not sound too pushy or nosy.
“Do you have some favorite genre as well – to write or read?” Liz continued a bit more timidly, but still continued, which was surprising for her.

Faith glowed. She loved finding people that shared her passion of writing, but even better were people that took an interest in it.
"When I was younger," She said keenly, slipping off her shoes and siting cross-legged on the couch, "I used to be absolutley facinated with muggles and electricity and things, and I wrote endless amounts of stories about this little girl that I made up called Silly Sarah or something. You have to understand, I was about five at the time."
She smiled to herself. She still had the reels of parchment about Sarah's adventures, written in large, spaced out hand-writing that Faith had been so proud of at the time, and with accompnying pictures that she had persueaded her older cousin, Rebecca to draw.
"Now though," She continued, looking back at Liz with the same beam on her face, "Now, I've gone over to poems and the occasional song. I should really start writing properly again, because my whole vocabulary has gone down the drain since I stopped. I used to love words, I used to, you know, keep a little notebook in my back pocket, and every time I heard one that I liked, I'd write it down so that I could use it later. Oh, and genres right? Well, I love muggle fantasy books, because it's so intersting to see their views on magic but apart from that I'll read anything."
Faith paused.
"Sorry, I'm rambling on a bit aren't I? Tell me to shut up if you want. Enough about me anyway, tell me about these designs of yours!"

Liz giggled a little as Faith told her about the adventures of Silly Sarah. “Well, at least the name has a lot of imagination gone in it,” Liz told Faith with a small smile, “But the poems and songs sound amazing? Why do we have to drop the subject? I’m fascinated by it. Do you sing as well, if you write your songs?”
But Liz pulled out her small note-book with the sea and a yacht on it and handed it to Faith: “I’m not very good, but you can look at them. I usually only draw formal clothes and matching jewelry and shoes. And naturally there are sketches of hair-styles for formal gatherings as well as regular days. But I like simple and straight lines.”
Liz glanced at the sketch-book which right now was open on a lack dress, which was bearing one’s left shoulder and on the right side it had a full-length widening sleeve. The upper-part of the dress was made to hug one’s bodily and from hips it fell to the ground in a straight skirt. The thing bringing color to the dress was a wide patch of full crimson-red rose-blooms, that covered the shoulder and the went to the opposing side of ones’s hip and traveled down the skirt a bit as well. The dress was eye-catching and it would require a proud and self-conscious character to wear it.
The other dresses were usually lighter tones with the next one being only light-beige with this straps going over the shoulders and a flowing skirt that fell to the ankles. The waist was accented with a light-green belt with the metal of it linked to each-other as if leaves and matching jewelry to wear and a hair-do. This one had a bit of mythology to it, as Liz liked ancient mythology as well. “They are mostly only for social gatherings only, so…” Liz shrugged with a small blush tinting her cheeks pink – she was still a bit shy.

Faith shook her head and raised her eyebrows, an amused look flashing across her face.
"I don't think you could call what I do singing," She said with a genuine smile, "It's a hideous noise which happens to be created by my vocal chords, singing and it have only that in common."
It was with a much more softened expression, though, that Faith looked at Liz's designs. Faith had never been blessed with much artistic talent, even her handwriting was hurried and hard to read, which made her all-the-more appreciative of anyone with talent enough to be able to draw and design in the way Liz could.
"I wouldn't care if they were only for formal occasions," Faith said as she flicked over a page, "If I had any of these dresses I don't think I'd take them off. And the hair, well, let's just say, my hair would never go like that. I can batter it into submission with any number of products but its always the same."
She smiled to herself as she turned over the pages. She glanced up atlast to look at Liz.
"Do you make these? As well as designing or are you like me and stick to the theory?"

Liz shook her head with a grin: “Of course your hair would stay in a hair-style like that. You just have to know a couple of small tricks to get it to stay that way. You have a good strong hair, so it would be good to do hair-styles for you. I can make one for you if you want even know. Just tell me what you want and I’ll guarantee I have it ready within half an hour the most. Unless you want African braids.”
Liz looked at the sketches and frowned with a little blush, as she told Faith: “Well, an actress – a muggle naturally – happened to see my sketch-book once in the salon and flipped through it. She liked a dress here well enough, so she asked my mother and the dress like that was sewn to her, but that’s basically it. I’ve tested a little with these dresses – made them for about 50 cm tall dolls to see how they’d look in real life, as there are always big enough scraps of cloth over in the salon, but other than that one occasion, no-one has worn the dresses.”
Liz hoped it hadn’t sounded as if she was trying to show off, as she smiled shyly at Faith: “I am rather good with a needle though, so if you pick up the design and bring me a suitable cloth, then I guess I could manage making you one. If you really want it.”
"Don't make extra effort on my account," Faith said, shaking her head, the same admiring smile still curling at the sides of her mouth as she turned the page again, "But having an actress wearing your design. That must have been amazing." Faith couldn't help but envy Liz just a little. It was hard not to be slightly jealous of people with talents that you yourself could never aqquire. The small pang of envy died down quickly though and Faith continued to flip over pages, gazing at the drawings. ((Sorry so very, very short. I don't feel particuarly out of inspiration but this post was hard for some reason. ))
