Hannah saw the boy fail to hit the Bludger at Valerie. She then chased after it herself and swung her bat at yet another attempt at Harry Potter.

Ivy groaned in exasperation as the Gryffindor whisked the Quaffle away from her reach just as she had been about to take it. But she was still staying with the player, and she just needed to get a bit ahead... Ivy urged her Nimbus forward, finally getting in front of the Gryffindor in possession. She saw them try to pass to another team player who was further along the pitch, and held out her hands to intercept the pass, wheeling round to face the ball.

((I want to intercept the pass and if I get it I want to pass to Kiyla.))

Ivy smiled as she caught the Quaffle quite easily and hugged the struggling red ball tight to her, moving away down the pitch as fast as she could towards the Gryffindor goal hoops, trying to keep it close to her in case anyone tryed to steal it. She saw that Kiyla was free further down the pitch, and tossed the Quaffle to her, shouting Kiyla's name as she did and just hoping that it would get there safely.

Mia watched as the quaffle was taken away from her team mate. Turning her broom around she raced after the little girl. The wind strucked her face hard turning it red. Ingoring the pain in her face she held out her hands ready to intercept the quaffle from the Hufflepuff team.

((If Mia gets the quaffle she wants to pass to Nasser.))

Kiyla walked into the pitch with her stomach churning uneasily. She remembered the last game they had here... Hufflepuff had lost horribly. She bit her lip and mounted her broom.

As she flew in the air she felt mouch better. She smiled and heard the whistle blow for the game to begin. Kiyla nodded to no one in particular concentrating on the game.

She watched the quaffle being passed from one person to another, while she stayed in close pursuit waiting for the perfect opportunity to try and get it. Her heart jumped when Ivy got it.

Kiyla flew towards the goal hoops wanting, and waiting to be ready to help Ivy at anytime Ivy needed it. She heard her name being called and she quickly moved in to catch the quaffle.

She bit her lip determined and she knew that if she DID happen to get the quaffle that she better try to make a goal.

As Mia swung her arm over the quaffle she keept it safe under her arm. Racing down towards the Hufflepuff goal hoops she looked around for a team mate. Seeing Nasser to the other side of her she threw the quaffle with her right arm towards the other Gryffindor chaser.

Cass watched as Maria intercepted the Quaffle. As soon as she did, Cassandra flew behind her to protect her from the other players. As she was going in that direction, she saw a bludger head in her direction. She pulled out her bat and aimed at the Hufflepuff Seeker.

Hannah watched as yet another attempt at Valerie was made. She once again speed off and placed herself between Valerie and the bludger awaiting the opportunity to protect their seeker and attack the other.

Jordan wasn't in the mood for this...her bat thumped against her leg, not harming it anyway. She sat waiting for a bludger to be free. Once one was she sped off towards it. Her hair falling out of the hair tie and flying swiftly behind her, she didn't need to worry about that at the moment..she needed to focus on the game. She reached the bludger and swung, aiming it directly at Maria, "Sorry Mia." Jordan muttered before the bat struck ball.

(( I'm still confused a little as to how all the Quidditch rules work, but if you just posted and your in the near vicinity of the person you want to protect, is that fine to do. I didn't know if you need to wait on Hooch to adjudicate what you did last before you could post again.))

As the game got underway the play stayed fairly even, neither team really took charge yet. As she circled the pitch looking for the snitch, Valerie spotted a bludger flying towards her! Rolling her broom she turned and climbed up high into the sky trying to avoid the bludger.

((No Cassandra you cannot post defending directly after another post. You can only be at one place at a time and Jordan was attacking at the same time as you, so you just have to hope Robin defends her or she doges it))

Hannah was absolutely distraught as she failed to hit the bludger and watched it hit their team captain. She chased after the bludger that had hit Valerie and swung her bat in an attempt to hit the Gryffindor chaser once again.

((Madam Hooch, did Jordan hit the Bludger or not? I see no dice rolls in your last post. I am going to assume she did and defend Maria anyway. Mia, just a friendly reminder - you could have attempted a goal.))

Robin wasn't pleased when he couldn't hurl the Bludger at Valerie. It had been moving at a high velocity but he was quite sure he could have hit it. He wasn't going to waste his time fretting though, let Cassandra deal with hitting the Bludger at the Hufflepuffs, he needed to go save Mia! He flew so that he would be in a position between the Bludger and Mia and raised his bat high, ready to try and hit away from her and towards the Seeker Valerie again.

Ivy gritted her teeth as the Chaser whose pass she had intercepted took the Quaffle from her own pass. She chased after her, and once the Quaffle was loose in the air again as the Chaser tried to pass to another Gryffindor, she moved in to intercept it, determined that she was not going to give up trying to get the Quaffle. She would not let them have a free pass.

She didn't hit the bludger, that wasn't a big deal. But when she saw another bludger flying towards Valerie, Jordan was off again after that bludger. She placed herself quickly in between the ball and swung her bat at it. Her aim was at Harry Potter.
