As soon as the game had ended and Savannah had celebrated quickly with her team mates, she grabbed her broom and flew off back towards the castle, now that the game was over there was a party to get going! As she soared out of the stadium and towards the castle she flew over a couple little Ravenclaws who were running back to the castle. Flying down to the girls Savannah called out to them, "Sarah, Emily, get on!" she said and landed in front of them. Her Nimbus had great difficulty flying to the castle now that it had three riders but the ride was still considerably faster than if they had to walk. Savannah had talked the first and 2nd year girls into helping her prepare the party.
As they reached the castle, Savannah sent Sarah the first year off to the kitchen with a note from Professor Flitwick requesting food for their party. Emily and Savannah then raced up towards the Ravenclaw common room. "Pygargus" Savannah said as she entered the room and handed Emily a box full of decorations, "Just throw them up all over the room." It was a fairly simple task and a 2nd year should easily be able to use enough magic to get them up. Savannah then ran up to her dormitory and grabbed her radio, she had been working hard on mastering the charms needed to make it work and nearly had it done. The last few days she'd been able to get it to play for a few minutes before it would stop. Today however she had given it to Professor Flitwick and had him charm it enough to work for quite some time.
When she returned to the common room, Emily had finished and the room was sparkling with confetti and eagle decorations all over. Sarah too was now returning from the kitchen and behind her a small army of house elves came in with plates of sandwiches, rolls, snacks, deserts, juices and butterbeers. "Great Sarah, put them all on this big table" Savannah said as waved her wand and cleared all the books from the table by the fireplace.
Now with everything set up, Savannah put a CD into the player and turned it on and waited for the rest of the Ravenclaws to show up!

Catalina watched as Savannah quickly got on her broom and flew off, “eh? Where’s she goin?” she asked Celina as she pointed to Savannah. It mattered little though, Catalina was busy celebrating with the rest of the team and they were being swarmed by the rest of the Ravenclaws. It took quite a bit of effort on her part to get back into the Ravenclaw locker room to collect her things. There was little time though, it was mid day and they needed to celebrate more. “Aye, les’ go ter te T’hree Broomsticks!” She exclaimed as she stood up on a bench in the locker room and tried to get everyone’s attention. “Lets just put our stuff away t’en we go!” Without changing back into her school uniform, Catalina tore out of the locker room with her broom in hand and her wand and she ran through the crowd of students heading back to the castle.
Up flights of stairs she ran until she reached the Ravenclaw common room, “pygargus!” she happily said and entered the main part of the common room only to find loud music coming from inside. Cautiously she entered and found the room was sparkling with decorations all over and someone had set up an entire buffet table by the fireplace with loads of food! A quick look around, Catalina soon found two little girls working to finish setting things up and over by her radio was Savannah. “Aye! T’is why ye ran away so quick! Bleedin’ deadly Savannah! How’d ye get all t’is!?” Catalina said as she set her broom down in the corner and looked over all the delicious foods that were just waiting for her to eat them all up!
(( Saphire, I'm pretty sure this party is for everyone! ))

After the victory of the Ravenclaws over the Hufflepuffs Julie thought she would go to the Ravenclaw common room and see if any of her friends were over there. It would be nice to perhaps enjoy a small celebration or something with her house members, for this was no ordinary victory. They had one the first match of the year, 210 to nothing. Julie ran quickly to the common room, feeling as if she would burst with happiness. If they kept this up they might win the Quidditch cup!
"Pygargus!" she shouted impatiently at the portrait in front of the common room. "No need to shout so loudly dear," the portrait said. Julie merely gave it an impatient look and disbelieving shake of her head and ran into the common room. Her eyes widened in surprise the minute she went in. Somebody had taken the trouble to hang up decorations and there was some music on in the background. Only Julie couldn't identify the music at all. Julie looked around her to see who was in the room and her eyes fell on her friend Savannah. Julie ran to Savannah and unceremoniously flung her arms around her. She then let go of the surprised girl and smiled at her apologetically. "Sorry, I'm just so excited," she said. "What is this we're listening too?" she asked curiously. Electrical appliances didn't work at Hogwarts, but it seemed that Savannah being a Ravenclaw had managed to find a way to her radio work off magic instead of electricity.
Julie then saw Catalina at the table on which the food was placed and once again Julie pounced on her and hugged her. "Excellent goals there Cat!" she said enthusiastically, an ear-to-ear grin on her face. "Look at what Savannah's prepared for us!" she continued. Obviously she had not needed to add that last comment. Catalina was already eyeing the food as if she had not eaten for three months. "Yeah, tell us where you got all this stuff girl!" said Julie.

After the match, Celina went over to the locker room. Sitting down, she drank some water. It had been a good match, and a well deserved vistory, in Celina's opinion. "This calls for a celebration!" she exclaimed to the younger girl sitting beside her. It was an oddly mixed feeling of exhaustion and exhilaration which filled her. Looking around, she realised some of her quidditch mates were nowhere to be seen. "They must be in the common room, all resting and chatting away," she thought as she stood up. "I'm going to the common room for a bit," she said aloud, to no one in particular.
She headed to the Ravenclaw common room, humming a celebratory tune as she skipped along the way. "Pygargus," said Celina as she stood in front of the portrait at the entrance. The door opened and she walked in. To her great surprise, there was her favourite music playing and the room was filled with decorations. "Oh goody!!" she said gleefully as she saw a wide variety of the most scrumptious looking food on the table. Walking over to Catalina and Julie, she said, still in a bit of a daze,"Who's idea was this anyway? Was it you, Cat?" Then realising it was Savannah's doing, she walked over to her, a broad grin on her face. "You go girl!! This is simply superb!!!" she said, giving her friend a pat on the back.

Sapphire returned to the Common Room fairly early, not having waited at the end of the match like most of the rest of the crowd, and therefore not having consequently got stuck in the huge crush to get out of the Quidditch stadium.
On the way up to the dormitory, Sapphire had seen the preparations for a party going on. She had smiled and ingnored them, choosing instead to remain secluded. But now Sapphire felt that maybe she ought to go and make an effort to talk to some people.
Sapphire returned to the Common room, now teeming with overexcited Ravenclaws. Sapphire smiled, and looked around for someone she could talk to. No one. She hardly knew any Ravenclaws, despite the fact it was her house. It almost felt like she hadn't been there since first year.
Sapphire sighed and took a seat on an armchair by one of the windows.

Savannah had only gotten things settled for a brief moment when the Common Room started to fill up one by one with the rest of the team. First Catalina came in and as predicted, she made a bee line right for the food. "Right, knew you'd appreciate this Caty" Savannah said but couldn't continue as she found herself being assaulted by a pair of arms wrapped around her neck and someone then apologized. It was her friend Julie, Savannah still gave her the scowly eye treatment though but she was then greeted by a hardy slap on the back. The scowl still on her face Savannah turned to face another friend, Celina. Friends or not, Savannah wasn't one who appreciated being beaten on by enemies, let alone friends!
Wrapping her left arm around Julie's neck she hugged her tight, "No worries ladies" Savannah said as she delivered a hard slap on Celina's back, "it's all good now." She said with a mischievous grin on her face. "Now come on, we better eat something before Catalina starts crying." Grabbing some plates Savannah diligently passed them out when she noticed a girl sitting by herself in the far end of the room. "Get over here!" Savannah said in an orderly tone. "I asked Professor Flitwick for this last week, he agreed and wrote me a note, those two girls there helped set it up" Savannah said while pointing at the two youngsters. "Anyway I tried to make a good of snacks list to keep everyone happy, and Julie this is an Avril Lavigne CD, I doubt you ever heard of her, she's a muggle singer. I had Professor Flitwick charm my radio to work today, I've nearly gotten it working myself though." Savannah then piled her plate with some snacks, grabbed a butter beer then slumped down onto a large blue sofa next to the fireplace. "So Julie" she said once the others had sat down, "When will you be joining us on the pitch?" Savannah asked as she once more grinned at Julie.

Jaquin was in the boy's dormitory having a long discourse about Quidditch and their good chances of winning the Quidditch cup this year. He leaned back in his chair and relaxed as he read from some of his advanced Magibiology text books. The match had gone so fast. One second he had been whacking bludgers as hard as he could towards the opposing team. Then the game suddenly ended with Cho Chang catching the snitch right from the Hufflepuff seeker's nose. He felt that their team was the best it had ever been in Hogwart's history. With renewed elation, Jaquin closed his book and resumed the tumultuous and rather humorous conversation he had been having with his fellow 6th years.
After his housemates left for the party downstairs, Jaquin looked out of the tower window, watching the dancing penumbrae as the wind blew and the trees waved. He wanted to congragulate Kamron on a job well done, but, found that Kamron was not in the dormitory. Looking around, a sense of euphoria filled him, and Jaquin ran down the stair case and into the Ravenclaw common room that was booming with raucous music, still in his Quidditch uniform.

Catalina greedily eyed the sumptuous feast that was set before them. Someone had gone to great lengths to prepare this and it would be such a shame to let it go to waste. As she eyed the foods and reached for a plate she heard Savannah saying that she’d gotten Professor Flitwick to get it for them or something to that effect. When faced with food Catalina never really paid much attention to anything. With plate in hand she began to pile up her plate with “sensible” portions of every single item on the table, after all there was only so much one could put on a plate at any given moment, that was precisely the reason that you later got up and got seconds, then thirds and so forth. With a small mountain of food on her plate, Catalina attempting a balancing act while she reached for a butterbeer, it proved quite difficult and she finally pulled out her wand. “Wingardium Leviosa!” She said which sent a soft white light from her wand and struck her plate, holding it steady in the air and thus freeing her hands to grab a butterbeer. Continuing to wave her wand she sent her plate ever so carefully over to the coffee table. Turning back to the rest of the group she saw that Savannah seemed to be busy trying to put Julie in a head lock or something while she also was slapping Celina on the back. Shaking her head Catalina walked over to the couch and grabbed her plate and fork and began to eat.
No sooner had she started than Jaquin appeared in the Common Room. Catalina never knew someone other than Hermione who studied so hard and knew so much that most the time she didn’t say too much to him out of fear of not being able to hold a conversation with him. This however was a different story today, Quidditch was always easy enough to discuss and one didn’t have to super smart either. “Bout ye Jaquin?!” Catalina called out as she waved happily to him. “Get a plate and sit down ye kno? Savannah got it fer us! Ti’s good!” Her eyes then returned to the other girls who were busy doing Merlin knew what. “Aye, Julie! Celina! Savannah! Urry up, I’m starvin’ ye kno!?”

"You were everything, everything that I wanted....." chanted Celina as the music played on in the background. Seeing Catalina with her plate laden with food, Celina hurried over to the table. Picking up a plate, she started to help herself to the food, which looked simply delicious. Everything looked so mouth-watering that she had great difficulty choosing what to eat. She finally settled for two jelly sandwiches and three veggie rolls as her stomach began growling in hunger. She then grabbed some juice and decided to return later for dessert, as her eyes wandered to a large, magnificently decorated chocolate cake.
Looking around, Celina saw Catalina seated on the couch. She walked over and plopped herself down opposite her friend. "Hey there, Jaquin!" she called out as Jaquin Pronkenstien, one of the Ravenclaw's beaters, walked into the room. Then noticing a younger Ravenclaw girl sitting nervously in a corner, she said quite kindly, "Go on and get some food. They're absolutely delicious, I can tell you." She took a sip of Danish apple juice and then sighed in content. "Good match it was," she commented happily.

Sapphire smiled quietly at the older girl. She'd never talked to her before ... but then again she'd hardly talked to anyone before. Anyone in Ravenclaw anyway. She found it hard to initiate conversations sometimes. Although there was no reason for it.
Sapphire went to the table and took some orange juice and sausage rolls. She returned to sit near to the girl.
"It was a good match," she affirmed. "The Hufflepuff's weren't up to much, but they did try, and I suppose they'll be better in a few years time."
Sapphire blushed, not sure whether the older girl had been talking to her or the many friends she seemed to be surrounded by.

Celina smiled warmly as the younger girl sat beside her. She took a bite from her sandwich, before looking up. "Oh yes, they're quite a young team. They'll improve with experience. At least they're a sporting lot, unlike the Slytherin team," she said, casting a disgusted look at Catalina who had also played against Slytherin last term, before turning back to the younger girl. "I've seen you around though I don't believe we've actually spoken before," she said, extending her right arm to the girl who had stopped blushing by now. "I'm Celina. I'm in my sixth year." Taking another sip of juice, she suddenly remembered something, "Say, don't you have a twin sister? I've seen her on the pitch quite a lot. She's into quidditch and some other muggle sports too. I can't remember her name....Sarah, was it? That must be so cool, having a twin. I've always wanted a twin sister. You guys must get along quite well. Do you have the same interests and habits as well?"

Sapphire smiled quietly, not wishing to criticise the Slytherin team seeing as she knew Phoebe took any criticism of Slytherin as personal. And Sapphire got on well with Phoebe, despite her blood - she didn't want to jeapordise that. Even if Phoebe wouldn't know, she didn't want to do anything that Phoebe would dislike, really. They weren't close, but they had become fairly good friends. She took a moment to compose herself as the older girl turned back to her. She was glad, at least, that she had not apparently been mistaken in who she was talking to.
"Sapphire Phoenix," she introduced herself. She smiled, although inside not quite as much when Celina started to talk about Zara. She always felt that she could never live up to the reputation of her twin sister - she didn't have the guts or the popularity.
"Zara," she said to Celina. "Yes, she is sporty." Sapphire thought for a moment as Celina went on. "It's good having a twin," she said, after a moment's consideration. "There's always someone there for you, at least with my sister there is." Sapphire smiled at Celina. "We get along well, although don't have all that many similar interests."

"Hey, Catalina, Celina!! That was a great match!! I mean, we couldn't have won without you guys!" Jaquin replied with a grin. "So, when is our next match?" The common room had an aura of euphoria because of Ravenclaw's unequivocal victory over Hufflepuff. Sumptuous food was laid out on long tables where throngs of students lurked, chattering away in elation. Opulent and elegant tapestries hung about the room, and the fire in the fireplace burned with voraciousness. The sounds of profuse and raucous discourse resonated about the capacious room. It seemed as if an elephant had come rampaging through. Entropy lurked in every corner as unattended chess peices and crumbs from the food littered the floor. A plethora of younger students ran about, celebrating with prodigious rambunctiousness.
Seeking a place of solitude, Jaquin clandestinely shifted away from the tumultuous crowds and sat by the Cimmerian staircase to the boys dormitory and watched the fun go on in the common room. Then, deciding to join the conversation between a youger Ravenclaw and Celina, Jaquin sat down on a couch beside them and inquired, "So, what did you think of the match? I felt that we overpowered them both in experience and skill, because most of the Hufflepuff team had only played for one or two years. The only experience players were Gram Tonovan, the substitute beater and their seeker."

"Me? On the pitch?" said Julie with a disbelieving laugh. "We finally have a good chance of getting the Cup and you want me on the team? When I'm on a broom I have to put all my concentration on the actual flying, but all those swoops and dives and tactics… I could never do them," said Julie, shaking her head for emphasis. "The only position I ever thought of trying out for was Keeper, maybe I'll do that if I you guys can help me work on improving my skills. I think my catching can get better if I put some more effort into it – I don’t know," said Julie. Julie loved watching Quidditch, her father had been a Beater when he was younger and she had inherited his love and enthusiasm for the game, but unfortunately none of his talent.
A blonde boy with serious features entered the common room, and Julie left the conversation for a minute and ran for him. It was Jaquin's turn for a hug, and the minute he entered the common room and Julie saw him she ran for him and threw her arms around his neck, hugging him and then smiling broadly. "Good work Jaquin!" she yelled over the music. "You got taller over the summer I see," she said, noticing she had to stand on her toes to give him the hug. "Didn’t know reading Magibiology had that effect," she added with a grin. As a Ravenclaw Julie studied a lot and enjoyed reading almost more than everything, but she had never seen a reader like Jaquin. He had once explained to her what Magibiology was, and Julie ad tried to understand and she knew the general idea, but the concepts completely escaped her. She didn’t worry about it much anyway; she knew what she wanted to do after Hogwarts and was working hard at the subjects she needed to do it.
She noticed some of her friends go and get some food, and Julie put a few things on her plate, pushing Catalina's hand away from one of the plates containing cup cakes just to annoy her. "Hmmm… I think I'll have one of those," she said, still blocking her way. "Oh Cat, did you want one of them? You'll have to wait while I think this over for a few minutes," she said seriously. Then, deciding Cat might try and harm her if she didn’t move she got out of harm's way and walked to the couch Savannah was sitting on and sat down beside her. "Just get some food and come over here!" she said. "There's a thing called a second helping, no need to keep standing at the food table," she said, exchanging an amused glance with Savannah.

"Sapphire, wow, that is a beautiful name," said Celina. She then held up a vegetable spring roll she was eating and said, "This has got to be the most delicious spring roll I've had in decades," before adding hastily,"Not that I have lived that long."
Having finished the food on her plate, she got up to go and have some dessert. The table was filled with a variety of desserts from a large chocolate cake to fruit cocktail, to apple pudding. Celina was spoiled for choices. She finally settled for her favourite dessert, caramel custard, and a few jam tarts. Walking back to the couch, she sat down beside Sapphire. "Mmm.....this is so good," she said as she put some caramel custard into her mouth. "Caramel custard is the best dessert ever!" she exclaimed with a smile.
Just then, Celina heard a familiar voice call out her name. Looking up she saw Jaquin walk over towards them. "Heya, mate. You were jolly brilliant yourself! Couldn't have asked for a better beater," she called out with a grin. Giving her friend a pat on the back, she held out her plate to him,"Have some caramel custard. I was just telling Sapphire here how good it is. Not your average caramel custard, I'll tell you." Then realising she hadn't introduced the two yet, she quickly added,"Oh Jaquin, this is Sapphire Phoenix, a fourth year and Sapphire you know Jaquin, our superb beater."

Alexa was fully into celebrating with her team after a spectacular win against Hufflepuff, there was screaming and cheering from the stands and everyone was hugging the other and there were high fives all around. Out of the corner of her eye, Alexa spotted Savannah disappear in the direction of the castle on her broom, “Now where’s she going?” she asked herself as she watched vanish. She turned back to the rest of the team and continued in the festivities.
A while later; the screams had died down and most of the team had already returned to the common room or were off celebrating on their own. Alexa however was still standing on the pitch with her broom in hand looking at the empty stands, it really had been a great game and she was very glad to be back at school, back on the pitch. She stood their still for a few minutes and a smile formed on her face, she then jumped on the broom and took off towards the castle.
Alexa took the stairs two at a time as she ran towards her common room, “Pygargus,” she said and the porthole opened and she stepped inside. Alexa looked around, music was playing people were eating and enjoying themselves and in the midst of it she saw Savannah, ‘So that’s what she was up to,’ Alexa thought and walked further inside. “Hey guys,” she said as she walked through the crowd, “Savannah,” she said and nodded her approval of the scene. “Cat!” she screamed as she spotted her best friend. Everyone was there and the music was great, Alexa grabbed a drink and started to mingle, heading towards Catalina.

Evan had watched the quidditch game from the stand, screaming the occasional, “GO DORIAN!!! GO SAVANNAH!!! GO CAT!!!!!” from time to time. She screamed and jumped all over the place when Ravenclaw won, the entire house did. Everyone rushed on to the field when the game was over, jumping all over each other, screaming, laughing, it was insane. Evan ran with everyone else, her blonde ponytail wagging behind her, “Oh Dorian that was great!!!” she screamed but her sister couldn’t hear her above the shouts of the others, “DORIAN!! DORIAN DOWN HERE!!!” she screamed but still she did not see her. Evan sighed, the one time her sister never realised she was there was when it came to quidditch.
After everyone was gone, including Dorian, Evan was still in the stands just sitting, looking around. Evan, unlike her sister was not very gifted at quidditch, in fact Dorian did everything better than she did, but she didn’t mind, she loved her sister and wanted to be just like her; beautiful, smart and an athlete, but she knew she definitely couldn’t be the latter. After a few more minutes of thinking she interrupted by another girl in her house, but a year younger, “Hey Evan there’s a party in the dorm aren’t’ you coming?” Evan looked at her with a smile, “A party? Sure I’m coming.” She jumped down from the stands and ran back to the castle as fast as she could go.
She ran up the stairs, “Pygargus, pygargus!” she said breathlessly as she tried to get the porthole to open but it seemed to be taking forever to her. When it finally did the sight of people all having fun, eating and drinking and talking filled her head and the music was really bouncy and fun. She stepped inside the porthole closing behind her, she smiled looking at everyone. Evan spotted Savannah across the room, “Savannah!” she said and went over, “Hi. Great game,” she congratulating her.

Savannah watched Julie with a new found respect. She had just blatantly stepped in front of Catalina at the desert table, that in itself was an act of bravery on her part, or sheer stupidity. While the others piled up their plates Savannah stood watch, she had not worked up much of an appetite as she had only played about 20 minutes. Instead she watched as the rest of the Ravenclaws began to filter in one by one and join the party. Though she was enjoying herself, something needed to be done to get the party really going. Everyone was just sitting, eating, talking, yak yak yak, that was good but the night was young, in fact it wasn't even night yet, the sun was still out!
Fortune would smile on Savannah though as the Common room door opened once more and in came Evan. Dorian's little sister was quickly becoming one of Savannah's better friends, mainly because of Evan's fascination with muggles and Savannah's desire to turn Evan from the proper witch into a clone of herself. Naturally Evan couldn't possible get the attitude down or icy cold glare, but at least she could get the attire right. "EVAN!" Savannah said as she came over, "Just the person I was waiting for! You want to dance!?" Savannah stated that rather than asked however as she ran over to her little stereo and pushed a button a few times until her desired song was playing.
"Lets go Evan!" Savannah exclaimed as she returned and jumped up onto the low coffee table. "Move it Catalina!" She said as she lightly kicked the head girl's plate towards her with her black boots, though not enough to make it fall, Savannah didn't have a death wish like Julie. "Evan get up here!"she said as she grabbed Evan's arm and pulled her up on the coffee table. Slowly Savannah began to dance to the music, shaking her hips and moving her arms and singing along, "she turns on the TV, guess who she sees? Skater boy rockin' up MTV...." but as the song hit the chorus she began to jump on the table, her boots shaking the table and all the plates on them with every bounce, "He was a skater boy, she said see ya later boy! He wasn't good enough for her!... Come on you guys, get up here!" Savannah yelled to the everyone who was still sitting. "Come on Evan! DO something!" Savannah said as she gave Evan a smack on the back to get her moving more!

Evan smiled when Savannah told her she was just the person she wanted to see, “Really?” she asked in disbelief but never got an answer as she was soon, as always, swept away by Savannah. Evan was about to say yes, but Savannah was already at the stereo pushing buttons, Evan wanted to look at that than anything else, she had seen one when she and Savannah went to the mall but she never got to really get close.
Evan jumped a second as the music started up and Savannah screamed at her to get over there, she nodded her head and rushed over. Savannah was on top of the table and there was no way Evan was going up there, it would be too embarrassing. Evan watched as Savannah bravely kicked aside Catalina’s food something Evan would never do in a million years cause if there was one thing everyone ought to know it was how Catalina Cavalez loved her stomach, she loved her friends too but her stomach took precedence.
Once again her name was shouted at her to “get up here” and this time it was accompanied by a heave as Savannah pulled her up on the table by her arm. Evan moved a little looking around at everyone who was now looking at them, she looked to Dorian for help, but her sister gave her a “you poor thing” look and gave her two thumbs up. Evan knew the song, it was by Avril Lavigne a muggle singer she really liked, so Evan began to sing along, but she still wasn’t moving much. Evan felt the smack in the middle of her back and to tell the truth it stung quite a bit, so to avoid another one she started moving more like Savannah and singing along, “He was a skater boy, she said see yah later boy! He wasn’t good enough for her!” and as she sang along she got more into the music, her blonde hair bouncing all over the place like it had a mind of its own, “She had a pretty face but her head was up in space! She needed to come back down to earth!”

Sapphire assented quietly to everything Celina said, wondering at the obsession with food that seemed to be taking precedence at the moment. She wasn't particularly hungry - but then she supposed that some of these people had been working hard to win the match for Ravenclaw and so were a little peckish. Zara always seemed to be after she'd been doing Quidditch, that was for certain. It must be hard work. That was why Sapphire didn't like it. She didn't like physical exertion, although she did push her brains to the limit. That way she still got a good night's sleep.
"Yes," Sapphire said to Celina, looking with renewed interest at Jaquin. "I don't believe we've spoken before," Sapphire said to Jaquin. "You were brilliant in the match - took most of the players out of action." Sapphire continued. She meant it - she rarely said anything she didn't mean, as a matter of fact.
