Fiona stood admiring Big Ben on the London streets. She couldn't believe that non-magical people had been able to erect something so magnificent. She would have loved to climb into the tower and figure out exactly how they had made it and the technology behind it, but she knew that was impossible. She didn't mind muggles technology, but muggles were a different question. They were almost as bad as mudbloods, but they didn't think they should be in the wizarding world.
A voice caught Fiona's attention and she began to ease drop. "People are always wearing strange clothes now a days. I don't know why, but they just don't look right on anyone and tend to make the wearer ugly. I mean, take that girl there for instance. She must only be about 14 years old and look at the robe she's wearing. I mean, how ugly and out of style..." Fiona's face began to burn and she knew she was seconds away from jinxing the women who was talking about her. She clutched the wand in her robe pocket and tried to breathe, but the more she listened to the comment the more she wanted to blow the women away. However, she would be expelled from Hogwarts and probably have her wand snapped in half. "The girl obviously doesn't have any taste in clothes," the women laughed.
"Shut up!" Fiona exclaimed as she turned to the older woman. The woman was taken by surprise and casually stalked away. "Muggles," Fiona muttered under her breath as she turned back to the clock tower. Just then a voice interrupted her thoughts and she was sure it was the woman again. She was about to show this woman who she was dealing with, when she turned to find a familiar face.

Alyson walked down the streets of London holding three shopping bags in her hand. She her self was not wearing a robe but instead an orange tank top with designer jeans. As she walked up to the beautiful clock only to hear an ugly comment. It was about her kinds clothes. Her eyes fell on the victiam the woman was talking about. When she turned around. Alyson was suprised to see a familier face. Fiona told the woman to go away. Or as it smeemed because the muggle walked away mummering.
Alyson watched Fiona turn away and cotinute gazing at the clock. Walking behind her friend she tapped her on her shoulder. " My daddy told me once that it was rumored that a quenn was a half-blood. She raised to be a magnificet ruler. You know who?" She asked with a grin.

"Queen Elizabeth?" Fiona asked with a little annoyance. She was tired of confrontations today, especially after that muggle. Fiona knew nothing about muggles clothes. She walked around in what was comfortable and normal for her. If she wanted to wear those tight pants that muggles seemed to like then she would buy some, though she wasn't sure what muggles used for money. Fiona smiled to herself at the thought and realized she should take muggle studies, but that would be a complete waste of her time due to the fact that she wasn't a muggle.
Fiona noticed that Alyson had on muggle clothes and was slightly surprised at how well she seemed to blend in with them. 'Imagine wanting to fit in with muggles' Fiona thought to herself. She had never wanted to fit in with anyone lesser than her, but her room for boasting was coming to an end since the fights with her father were at the breaking point.
"What are you doing out here at this time?" Fiona asked Alyson as she looked around the streets of London. She began to wonder if there were other wizards or witches walking around the streets. If there was one there was sure to be more. Fiona shrugged and looked back at Alyson.
Fiona wondered where Alyson lived, somewhere here in London would have been the obvious answer, but on the other hand Fiona lived in Ireland and was only down here because she was visiting her uncle with her parents. Of course that hadn't been going too well so Fiona found herself on the streets of London or in Diagon Alley. A few times she had made it over to Hogsmeade without her parents permission, but she didn't really care about that right now. Fiona shook her head to try to bring herself back to reality and listen to what Alyson was saying to her.

"Thats correct. O.k so why so grouchy its summer. And to anwser your question. I was shopping. And you?" She asked with yet another smile.
Her thoughts were on sneaking home. She did not want to be there when Chev saw her muggle phone bill. Not that it was a problem... It was high though. Her parents loved there world but wanted her to be able to enjoy muggle things too.

Fiona stopped faking attention in Big Ben and looked over at Alyson's questioning face. Fiona couldn't help feel a little resentment toward Alyson. She wished with all of her might that she knew how to dress like a muggle, but alas she didn't. On the other hand, she didn't want anything to do with those filthy muggles. Taking a deep breath Fiona concentrated on the words Alyson was saying, "Thats correct. O.k so why so grouchy its summer. And to answer your question. I was shopping. And you?"
Fiona debated on whether or not to tell Alyson why she was out. She wasn't exactly sure if she could talk to Alyson, well she was pureblood, but she seemed to like muggles. Fiona shook off the thought, as if she could, and decided on what to say to Alyson. After a few seconds Fiona shrugged, "Had a bit of a row with me parents." Fiona looked down at Alyson's shopping bags and wondered what she could possibly be buying in the muggle world. She seemed to know a lot about muggles and Fiona tried not to condemn her for it. On the other hand she found it quite insulting to be of pureblood and not only know things about the muggle world, but actually participate in their barbaric ways. Fiona bit her tongue to try to stop the evil remark that it held and instead smiled while looking interested in Alyson's shopping bags.
"What were you shopping for?" Fiona motioned to the bags as she began to walk, seeing if Alyson would follow her down the streets of London to a place where they could sit and talk. After all if she was going to run into someone she knew she should at least sit and talk with them before returning to her uncle's for another row.

" Choclate and some new clothes. My parents don't want me to go out in public wearing robes. And sorry. Well why are you wearing robes? Its to hot for that. I would have a stroke. Choclate?" She asked handing Fiona a choclate box.
Fiona began to walk. Alyson followed. But her shoes were killing her. Stopping she whistled for a cab. One appered. " Hey Fiona. Come lets take a cab to my favorite resturant. We might catch Rocko before his shift ends.'' She said climbing in.

Fiona looked down at her ropes when Alyson asked about them. "I was in a hurry. I didn't really feel like changing," Fiona explained as she slid her hands down her sides. Alyson handed her some chocolate and not realizing how hungry she was eagerly accepted it.
Fiona turned to continue walking when she heard a whistle from behind her. Turning around she was surprised to see that the noise came from Alyson. She had just gotten a muggle vehicle to pull up beside the road. "Hey Fiona. Come lets take a cab to my favorite restaurant. We might catch Rocko before his shift ends." Alyson said as she climbed into the car.
Fiona took a deep breath, for she had never ridden in such an invention and wasn't sure if it was safe. There were always downfalls to being pureblooded, but Fiona would never admit that out loud. She held her robes up as she gingerly climbed into the car. She immediately regretted doing so. As the car door shut the car immediately took off. It was filthy inside and Fiona tried very hard not to touch more than she had to and the smell was about ready to make what she ate for lunch visible once more. "Where is this restaurant? And who is Rocko?" Fiona asked as she tried to take her mind off of the weaving car and the filth. She closed her eyes as she tried to remember to breath through her mouth and not her nose. She opened them still awaiting Alyson's reply.

Alyson watched as Fiona climbed in. The look on her face was hilarous. It toke some time to regain her self. " It called Rocket some or nother and Rocko is this hot guy who works there." She said.
The cab stopped and she paid him. " This is Rocket..." She pointed to a resturant that was shooting water out of cannons and all the waiters were on rollor skates. Rocko works two jobs one in diagon ally one here. You catch my hint." Alyson said. stepping in Rocko rollled by I'll get you a table Aly one second. He came back and kissed her on the cheek. " O.k lets roll." He said.

Fiona looked at her ropes and knew that another confrontation with muggles could start any minute, but at the same time she didn't know how to fix the mess she had created. Alyson paid the driver with muggle money and exited the car. Fiona followed with relief etched across her face. Another minute in that car and she would have been tasting her lunch again.
Fiona looked at the restaurant Alyson had called the Rocket. It looked like a bunch of muggles had tried to make it look eye catching, but really, water coming out of canons was hardly exciting. She followed Alyson inside and Fiona nearly let out a scream. The place was definitely full of muggles and the waiters were all wearing shoes that had wheels on them. They just rolled along the room and seemed to be enjoying the experience. Fiona shook her head at the sight and wished desperately that she had stayed at home.
A guy rolled by and talked to Alyson about getting her a table, Fiona figured it had to be Rocko. Alyson had said that he worked in Diagon Alley as well, but Fiona didn't recognize him so she figured he wasn't that important in the wizarding world. Of course, if you were important, like Fiona was, you wouldn't be working in a muggle restaurant on shoes that weren't stationary.
Fiona couldn't help but think about how filthy the place was with all its muggles and muggle lovers. She fought against her old way of thinking, but couldn't help figuring that her parents were right when it came to muggles. They were laughing loudly and stuffing their mouths full of food. They didn't know power and for a split second Fiona pitied their ignorance, but that quickly passed replaced with hatred. Fiona looked up as the guy named Rocko rolled back into view telling Alyson about a table. Fiona shrugged off her thoughts of hatred and waited to be led to a table.

Fiona really did not seem to like this place. Maybe because it was filled with muggles. Whispering to her so the muggles would not hear. " This restaurant is half in half. My parents were the actual people to bewitch it so that the wizarding people would be able to dine without the looks of a muggle. Watch this." Alyson whispered as the crossed the line between the restaurant they crossed over to the wizarding side. Everything changed the waiters instead on wearing roller skates were wearing wizarding robes and the shoes changed to normal. The room was filled with ice sculptures and ghost choir was singing.
As soon as they entered Alyson clothes changed to robes. And Rocko walked her over to the balcony table on the third floor. "Rocko owns this restaurant as well as the cafe in diagon ally. This is my family's table they did build this side of the restaurant." Alyson said taking a seat.

Fiona was relieved when she walked over to the other side of the restaurant. She no longer felt out of place in her robes and followed Alyson and Rocko to a table on the balcony of the third floor. Fiona was slightly impressed that Alyson's parents had built such a place, but refused to actually admit it. Instead she wondered why purebloods had actually thought about creating a place for both wizards and muggles. She held back her true thoughts on the matter and looked around at the beauty of London in the falling light.
Nothing seemed to be so glorious, so soothing than the sunset, other than the ocean itself. Fiona loved the ocean, but something about London had always soothed her especially lately. Since she had to be here for some of the summer Fiona had tried to avoid her parents at all costs, because the rows were getting worse. She took to roaming Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, and at night wandered the streets of London. During the day London was full of muggles, but at night most were gone and the darkness engulfed the whole city making it more enjoyable for Fiona. She loved the darkness almost as much as she loved the ocean. It was intriguing and it helped relax her mind.
Fiona snapped back into reality at the sound of Alyson's voice. Alyson had said something about this being her family's table. "Why did your parents build a place for muggles and wizards alike?" Fiona asked cautiously in case it was something Alyson would rather not discuss.

Alyson wished she could go and leave her life behind. More than one person thought her life was paradise. She had good grades. Riches and was a pureblood. But with her luxuries life came responsibilities. Her mother's side came the responblite of being a young lady. And with her father's class. She had people eating out of her hand and life still was painful. Her parents were always gone. She was alone. An only child. Life to her meant ruling the household. It was lonely and more than once left her in tears.
""Why did your parents build a place for muggles and wizards alike?" Asked Fiona. Alyson bringing her face up. " Because the ministry wanted them too. My parents acutely wanted it for purebloods only but...” Alyson’s voice trailed off. That was beyond her how her parents could be so cruel.

Fiona realized that Alyson's parents was a painful subject. Fiona's eyes filled with pity. She might be fighting with her parents right now, but at least she knew that they loved her, well at least her mother did. Alyson seemed to almost condemn her parents for the way they had treated her and Fiona wondered what had been so bad about her childhood. However, Fiona did not press the issue. She secretly agreed with Alyson's parents on wanting a restaurant only for purebloods, but knew that a fight with Alyson was not a good idea. Besides Alyson was one of the only people that looked beyond Fiona's outer appearance. No matter how rude Fiona was to her, Alyson seemed to still see the good inside her and that was somewhat refreshing.
Fiona took a sip of pumpkin juice as she watched Alyson closely. "After dinner do you think you and I can go shopping? After all I can't wear my robes all the time," Fiona smiled genuinely. She needed to do some shopping and if she was going to be spending a lot of time in London than she might as well buy some more muggle outfits. She only had about three different outfits at the manor and they definitely weren't that great, but Fiona could tell that Alyson would probably be a better person to ask about muggle outfits than Fiona's mother. Fiona watched Alyson hopefully. She was the closest thing to a friend Fiona had, but Fiona wasn't going to mention that to Alyson. That and if Fiona's parents knew she was hanging out with someone who liked muggles than they'd be so angry and that fact made Fiona happy.

Alyson was thankful that they were getting off the subject of her parents. It wasn't like they did not love her. They were always gone and Alyson was basically they Heir to every thing they owned. She lifted a gold locket. She opened it inside were two pictures. One of her mom and the other of her dad. She slipped it back under her shirt.
When Fiona suggest giong shopping Alyson smiled. " Yes. I should call Chev first. You did not like the cab And Chev is my private driver as we as the famlies butler." She said taking action. " Fiona can I trust you with a secret. Were kinda getting close for the past week. And I think you might understand." Alyson said in a whispered voice. She knew this restraunt people in table could always hear you it was empty tonight. But just in case.

Fiona smiled and breathed a sigh of relief at the thought of not having to take a cab. She knew that if they did it would not be a pretty sight. Fiona was excited and urned for the end of dinner. She really needed to go shopping and this was the perfect opportunity. Fiona watched Alyson closely, she seemed to be debating on whether to say something to Fiona. Fiona didn't say anything, but just waited.
A few minutes later, Fiona sat shocked by the vote of confidence Alyson seemed to have in her. It was something she had always wanted from someone, but she usually ostracized people so much that they never talked with her let alone confided in her. Alyson, on the other hand, always seemed to find her and keep her company. Fiona thought for a few seconds trying to figure out what Alyson could tell her that was so secret and something that Fiona would understand. It seemed like what Alyson wanted to tell her was important and Fiona felt honored that she could be told something that Alyson probably hadn't told anyone else. Fiona took a sip of pumpkin juice before answering. "I can't imagine what I would understand. However, I'll keep your secret," Fiona whispered as she leaned in. She had a feeling that someone could hear them, but shrugged off the feeling and waited for Alyson to respond.

Alyson toke a breath. Still whispering. " Every one sees me as the kind that likes muggle and mudblods. I hate them. I can stand them but I hate them. I have to pretend and at times I can convience my self I do. Anyways there is this place. A secret place. Made for me alone. no one knows about it. Its specail. My grandaddy made it for me. Its like a house. But you won't believe your eyes when you step inside. No one besides me and my pawpaw has ever been in there. One reason is because its cursed. I'm afriad to go back. Will you go with me? And If you ever feel like you can't stand home your welcome to stay there. But you must swear not to tell any body this because the ministry always wanted to find my grandfathers heart and soul the knew it had to do with me. If they find it. It won't be mine anymore." Alyson raised her head. And Rocko came by. And whispered to her that the driver was there.
" So you want to finish that or we could eat later and go shopping now." Alyson said returning to her normal state.

Fiona was shocked into silence by Alyson's confession. She hated muggles and mudbloods but pretended she didn't. Why would she do that? Fiona thought to herself. This place Alyson talked about seemed to be the source of the Wekki's family power. Fiona knew the Ministry of Magic would be looking for it, especially if the place was cursed. Fiona took a deep breath as Rocko came by the table once more to tell Alyson her driver was here.
Looking down at her food Fiona realized that she had lost her appetite. "Let's just go shopping," Fiona smiled as she tried to put Alyson's secret to the back of her mind. She took one last drink of her pumpkin juice before she got up to leave. Looking out over London she wondered what her parents were doing. Fiona shook her head of the thought and told herself that she could care less and with that she was ready to go.

" O.k lets go the mall is waiting. " Alyson said as she put down a couple of galleons down and got up. They were lead out of the resturant by Rocko to the front were Chev was parked. "Don't worry Our car is more better." Alyson said climbing in.
Climbing in Chev handed her messanges. She put them in her purse and pointed to the seat across her. " You can sit there." Alyson said.

Fiona followed Alyson out of the restaurant and to the car that sat waiting for her. Fiona realized the Alyson was definitely rich. Fiona had a lot of money too, but she didn't have a personal driver. Her family was one of the oldest pureblood families, but they definitely didn't take to flaunting their money this much. They did to some degree, but definitely not this much. Of course they hadn't ever traveled by muggle vehicles.
Fiona climbed into the car and sat across from Alyson. Fiona had never been to a mall before. She wasn't even sure what it was, but figured it was a muggle shopping place, hopefully it had clothes. Fiona dug into her robes and pulled out her money. She put her galleons back in her pocket, she wouldn't need those, at least she didn't think she did. She started counting her muggle money, hoping she had enough to get some new outfits that wouldn't make her look so ugly and pale.
Looking up at Alyson, Fiona decided to bring up Alyson's parents once more. "Do you always ride around in this? I mean don't your parents Apparate? Mine usually Apparate with me so I don't have to deal with muggle transportation." Fiona didn't know if Alyson would answer, but waited for her reply anyways.

Fiona brought up Alyson's parents once more And Alyson was prepared for this. " My parents are Wekkis' all Wekkis' are know for being the ones with everything. My mother's family is the same. I am the grandchild of you fueding famlies. They can't get mad. Or the chances of me are hopless. My grandpa was an inventor and my my other grandparents aurors. My parents. I hardley know them. Yes I always ride inthis because my parents can't spare the time to pop in to see there daughter. I am a spoiled brat. The only resean I waste my time with mudebloods and worthless muggles is because it makes my parents upset. Itake pleasure in that." Alyson said proudly. If she was going to be her parents burden. She was goinng to be it all the way.
The pulled up the the mall. People were walking out. " When you have night passes use them. And we have to stop at the new lipgloss store it opens tomorrow and I get it free. Because I do them a favor choose the lipgloss. Cool job." Alyson said. Getting out.
