He laughed softly at her comment about being nervous, thought as he turned around so he could lean his back against the counter, allowing him to look at her, it was obviously that the act was kind.
"There is nothing to be worried about. You are older than most of them and not related, so all the little ones with think you are the equivilance of a God."
He grinned again, knowing it was true. To his siblings, the older someone was, the more they seemed to hold the powers of a super hero. That added with the fact that Sehia was a witch and he knew his siblings would be entranced.
His attention was still on her when suddenly a flash or red came into the kitchen and clung to Payton's leg. It was a little girl with deep brown hair and skin slightly darker than her brothers. "Payton! Dillion stepped on my present I made for Mummy!"
Payton's attention shifted into big brother move for a moment, and he leaned over so he was closer to the girl who looked to be just under the age of ten. "Did he break it?"
The little girl paused for a moment, as if she hadn't checked that yet, and then shrugged, something that Payton also did when he wasn't quite sure on how to reply or he was still forming an answer.
"Well, how about you meet my friend and then go check for me?" The little girl nodded before looking up, her eyes widening slightly as if she had almost forgotten that her brother had a guest. "This is Sethia. She is going to stay with us until we have to go back to school. Sethia, this is Andro...."
It was then that the little girl pulled away from her brother. "No! Payton please."
Payton sighed slightly and switched back into big brother mode. "There is nothing wrong with your name, Sethia will like it very much I promise."
The little girl seemed to ignore him, instead she wrinked her face on one side and looked at Sethia for a moment. "Sethia is a prettier name. Everyone calls me Andy." She then paused for another moment before terring out of the kitchen again and towards the Christmas three.
Payton just laughed slightly before looking over at Sethia, hopping that she wasn't going to get too overwhelmed with his family.
"That was the tornato Andromada. That is her full name. She decided that she hated it after school started this year."

Sethia looked at Payton as he began to laugh at her, it was not a malicious laugh but one of Payton’s kind-hearted laughs that made her smile. She could feel her face getting warm as he looked at her, “What if they don’t like me?” she said before laughing at Payton’s comment about the younger ones seeing her as a God. “I am no God Payton, I would hate to disappoint them,” she said smiling.
Sethia was standing with Payton when a streak of red running towards him caught her attention. When the flash stopped she realised it was a little girl, she cocked her head on a side and looked at her, giving her a smile. Sethia watched Payton with his sister; it was interesting to see him in a big brother type mood. It was definitely different to the Payton, whom some girls considered a heartbreaker, and he was but not intentionally, but she could see how someone could get very attached to the red-headed boy. What was there not to like? He was kind, funny and had a great personality, there was nothing to fault him with, at least nothing she could find.
Sethia stood up straight as Payton went about introducing her to his sister. Sethia smiled as the little girl made a protest when Payton was about to say her name. Sethia wondered what her name was that it bothered her so. “Thank you,” Sethia said as the little girl announced that she liked her name. “Thank you Andy,” she said smiling. She then watched as she raced out the kitchen like a bat out of hell and disappeared, leaving Sethia with a big smile on her face, she liked little kids.
Sethia looked at Payton, “Andromeda? That’s pretty. I hated my name, it sounded so weird, but it grew on me I suppose, though I still like to be called Seth sometimes,” she confessed.

He gave her a sideways glance when she confessed that she liked to be called Seth. Truth be told, he had never put much through into calling her anything other than Sethia. Maybe it was because his own name could be broken down, but most people chose not to. Dillion tended to call him Pay when he was ranting, but he had a suspicion that was simply because it took to long to say Payton and he had too much to say to wait that long.
"Should I keep that in mind and start calling you Seth?"
He grinned broadly at his qwuestion, trying to imagine calling her that. To him she was Sethia, but maybe he should think of giving her a sort of pet name, many of his siblings had shorter names those close to them used.
"Well, are you ready to meet another disaster child?"
He paused only for a moment, not waiting for an answer before he looked out across the room. His gaze soon settled on one of the few boys there, though this one was younger, and he looked more like Andy than Payton. His hair was darker as was his skin and his build was a bit heavier than his older brother's. "Alex!"
Hearing his named called through the chaos the boy made his way to the kitchen and glanced over at Sethia, adjusting his glasses. "Sethia this is Alex. The boys in this family came in a cluster, well besides Logan, There was Dill and I, then Alex came next."
Alex paused for a moment, as if he was considering the girl that his brother had brought home before he extended his hand. He looked to be in his early teans, but had obviously been taught manners. "Pleasure meeting you" he started, his voice showing great similaritiy to his brothers with a heavy acent that seemed to come from no particular country at all, instead if blended contenints from around the world. "I am sure you have heard by now that Payton has spoke of little else since he returned."

Sethia looked at Payton, “No, not if you don’t want to. It’s just what my brothers used to call me and what my aunt calls me sometimes,” she said looking at the ground for a second and then back at him. Sethia had been her parents only girl, she had three older brothers who called her Seth like she was one of them, “Seth come here!!! Come catch us Seth!!!’ she was only four years old and she liked it very much. After they died and she was sent to live in England, her aunt began calling her that from day one and she supposed that was why she had come out of her shell eventually, because being called that was like nothing in her life had changed, when everything had.
She smiled at Payton, “Yes, I’m ready.” her eyes followed his to the boys who were gathered in the other room. Payton got the attention of a boy who looked very much like Andy, darker complexion, whose name was Alex. Sethia looked at the boy as he gave her the once over, “Hello Alex,” she said smiling. “Nice to meet you too,” she extended a hand to him in greeting. Sethia laughed an embarrassed sort of laugh, as Alex told her that Payton had spoken of little else since he returned home. “I did hear that somewhere,” she said tucking loose strands of blonde hair behind her ear.

Alex did seem to posess a bit of the Moore charm, as well as more of Payton's patience. It was the joke about the family that Dillion was the male that stood out, as all the other boys tended to be more casual and were known for their charm--Dillion though could not manage to sit still long enough to charm anything.
Alex laughed, glancing over at his brother who had his eyebrows slightly raised as if to warn Alex not to say too much. "Well, I assure you that it has been nothing buch plesant things. He thinks rather highly of you." With that said, Alex nodded slightly before departing as if aware he was treading thin waters on saying more than Payton truly wanted him to.
"He is the family bookworm...bit of a romantic too, but I would like to think he learned that from me."

Sethia smiled as Alexa told her that Payton had nothing but good thing to say about her, “Well that is nice to know.” She looked at Payton and gave him a smile; she was blushing ever so slightly. Soon after divulging something she suspected was not what Payton wanted mentioned, Alex left and she was there with Payton, “Nice boy. So you think he learned romance from you?” she said cheekily, “Why would you think that? Romanced a lot have you?” she said teasing Payton.
Sethia knew nothing of romance, she was a country girl, who never had a boyfriend or been asked out before. What could she know? Sethia had never been one to let her emotions show openly, and to romance someone took a certain degree of emotional outpouring that she was not sure she could do. To profess your affection was a huge step, what if they rejected you, or it didn’t work? Oh she had seen a romance movie….but to her it always seemed the happy ending had to come with some heartache first, and she wasn’t sure she was up for it. She supposed one day that she would have to learn the world of love, she hoped she was a quick study.

A sly smile crossed his face when she meantioned him and romance. Perhaps it was no secret that he had a charm that often got him into trouble, and he had used it to his advantage on many occasions. There were nights, when Pop's knew the girl had been around long enough to hear his son's embarassing childhood stories, many of which involved him being young and just discovering his charm. There was the girl he met when he was six, and proceeded to ask her to marry him the first time they talked. Then when he was 10 he stood up on the lunchroom table and sang an old sixties love song to another crush. Since it had been a flood of flowers and charming lines for whichever girl held his current affections, though he had learned over time to come with a more subtle approch. It seemed with Sethia, the more direct approch he had used in his younger years would have been to much for her.
"Lets just say I have tried my hand a wooing women since I figured out there was a difference between girls a boys."
He lifted his eyebrows quickly, as if to let her know that was all the details he planned on sharing, as he flashed her a bright grin.
"So, how is the hot chocolate?"

Sethia looked at Payton with a raised eyebrow, “Really?” she asked as he explained that he had experimented with the methods of wooing a woman. “And what have you learned Payton?” she asked but was rendered a lifted eyebrow which told her she would get no more out of him.
“Well it took me a while to figure out the difference. I was the only girl with three boys who treated me like a brother and never made a fuss over me being a girl. I did whatever they did and was none worse for it. I learned to ride and climb trees and have fun just being me. I only really realised what a difference there was when I came to Hogwarts and all the other girls around me started doting on boys.” Sethia was fully aware that when it came to developing she was behind most the girls her age. She had only now filled out in all the appropriate spots and only shown interest in one boy…Payton. Everything was very new to her and very strange, she actually understood to some extent why girls giggled when a cute boy passed, though she would never be the giggling type.
“The chocolate is great thanks. It warmed me right up,” she said with a brilliant smile.

A sly smile crossed his face when she asked what he had learned. He had learned that girls were extremley complicated. They read into everything, it was like everything had a meaning...when sometimes he did something for no reason other than just to do it.
"I have learned many things...like girls tend to not think trying to give them frogs or dead gold fish are signs of affection."
He laughed slightly, remember his first school years when that seemed the thing to do. He liked frogs and dead fish...at the time at least...so it seemed important to hand them over to his crush.
"Though I still try with a rat every now and then...to Squeak's disliking."
He shrugged at that and took a sip of his own hot chocolate, his eyes still on her. He did at least have a more mature approch to relationships now, though even that said he could not outgrow the fact he was still a teenager.
"I find that lines from poems are handy things to spout off. It would probably be more impressive if I didn't need Alex to tell me the lines to begin with though..."
((In the sake of lost time...do we want to say its Christmas Eve? We never really set a time before...))

Sethia looked at Payton with bright inquisitive eyes, “Frogs and dead goldfish?” she asked curiously. “No, I don’t think any girl would find those signs of affection Payton,” she said with a slight laugh. Sethia never had anything given to her before as a sign of affection; boys were never interested in the shy little blonde from Yorkshire.
“Oh, poor Squeak, you are using him to draw in girls are you?” he was watching her and she could feel her face growing warm under his gaze. “I am sure poems work better than dead fish, now don’t they?” she said with a smile, “but they probably would work better if they actually came from you.”
Sethia took another sip of her chocolate and stared back at Payton.

He laughed when she sympathized with Squeak. He had come to realize that there were two kinds of girls in the world, those who found his pet rat cute, and those who screamed and jumped on the nearest piece of furnature they could find. Luckily, Sethia was the first type. He always liked that type better.
"I don't think Squeak minds. The little dude rather enjoys the attention if you ask me. I have to be careful though, or else the girls might start thinking he is cuter than me."
He flashed her a smile, his eyebrows liftning slightly before he glanced out at the family again. They had settled down to some extent. Dilion was no where to be seen, which normally meant he was p to something. The younger girls were gathered together around something he couldn't see. The older boy was on the couch, leaning back looking at a magazine, and Alex was trying to push his brother's feet off the end so he had room to sit.
"I am afriad that I never was much of a poet. I am a force to be messed with when it comes to charms, not quill and parchment."

“Oh that is possible,” Sethia teased, as Payton suggested that girls may start to like Squeak better than him. “So which girls are you trying to use Squeak to get their attention?” she said cheekily. “You better watch him around Salem, he likes mice and rats,” she said teasing. “He isn’t that bad you know…Squeak, but I think Salem would take to him too much.”
Sethia followed Payton’s gaze out over his family, “They’re great,” she told him as she looked at them. “I am pretty okay at writing, but I seem to work best with animals. Care of Magical Creatures was the greatest achievement for me I think. I have had top grades since my first year. I think they understand me better than I do myself,” she said absently.
“Your family really is lovely Payton, and they are good people and have been real nice to me. Thanks for inviting me,” she said flashing him a bright smile.

He smiled as she asked about who he was sicking Squeak's talents of charming on, that I'm-not-telling smile he threw out every now and then along with his eyebrows raising to complete the expression. It was so classic fo him.
"I have told Squeak that me has to be on his best behavior...and I think you should give Salem the same lecture."
He grinned, looking back out at his family as she said how much she liked them and thanked him for the invitation.
"I'm really glad you could come. To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure if I was going to make it through the whole Holiday if you said no."
He smiled again, glancing over at her before scanning the family.
"So, who have you not been introduced to yet?"

"I will talk to Salem, he is pretty obedient but you never know, his nature might kick in,” she said with a smirk, “but I will tell you what, if Salem ever has to be around Squeak I will keep a firm grip on him.” Sethia had expected the look she received from Payton, it was so him that if she had not gotten it she would have been surprised. Payton’s signature eyebrow raise and lack of response was normal to Sethia now, but she kind of wanted him to answer, just for fun.
She looked at him surprised, but said nothing at first. “I am not sure, I have met so many already,” she said with a smile. Finally she decided to ask what she was wondering, “Why wouldn’t you have gotten through if I hadn’t come? I mean your whole family is here, you would hardly miss me…not that you would I mean,” she added for surety.

He was looking back out at his family, trying to remember who he had already introduced and who he had left out, when she asked him why. It was a good question, he only wished he had a good answer to tell her.
"I would have missed you. My family is great but...your great too."
He smiled at her for a moment before looking back out towards everyone. She met Andy and Alex...Pops and Mum N....
"Logan, you haven't met him yet have you?"
His smile changed into a grin and he reached for her hand before starting towards the near by sitting area where the oldest looking boy was laying across the couch, flipping through a sports magazine with a football photo on the cover.
"Logan...have you met Sethia yet?"
The boy, tipped his head back so he could see them, though upside down and from below, with out having to get up.
" 'ello"

Sethia blushed as Payton told her that she was great and he would have missed her, “Thanks,” she said somewhat embarrassed.
“Logan? No, I haven’t met him yet,” she told Payton, and was soon being led by the hand towards his older brother who was engrossed in a sports magazine. She stood up in front of Logan with a smile, as Payton introduced them, “Hello Logan. Nice to meet you,” she said. “What’s that you’re reading? I mean which sports magazine,” she corrected herself.
Sethia was trying her best to make a good impression on all of Payton’s family, though she really didn’t know why she was trying so hard, it was just that she wanted them to like her. So far she seemed to be doing okay, his parents seemed to like her well enough and those of his siblings that she’d met. She hoped Logan would be no different.

Logan let his focus drift casually from his magazine to Payton and the girl he had brought home with him. He closed his reading and let it lay across his chest, though he still didn't bother to get up.
"Its Football 365...there is an article about England’s loss to Portugal thats not bad."
He paused for a moment to watch the girl for a moment, then letting his gaze drift back to Payton, who just grinned at him. Payton knew that Logan could be a hard person to understand at first. He was almost the total opposite of Dillion. Where his twin was always into something and barely about to stay still long enough to pull his wand out of his pocket let alone learn a spell, Logan was extremely mellow tempered, focused and dedicated. Finally, something had to be done about the long moment of silence, as it wouldn’t be bothering his older brother a bit, but he never felt quite comfortable when there wasn’t something happening. Perhaps that came from growing up with Dillion.
“Logan plays for his College team…he is pretty good.”

Sethia looked at the older boy, Logan in silence, she wasn’t sure by his response if there meeting was actually going the way she wanted. He was reading some magazine with an article about football; Sethia was not a football fan.
The silence was deafening to Sethia, and definitely not a good sign. She looked at Payton for help and he was quick to bring it. Payton was rather intuitive for a guy and immediately made an attempt to break the uncomfortable silence.
Logan wasn’t like his brothers, nothing at all like Payton and Dillion, who made jokes and were friendly straight of the bat; no, he was more reserved and calmer, she supposed he was more grown up.

Logan glanced up at his brother with a slight smile from the comment and remarked “So now I’m just pretty good?”
Logan’s quick answer was met by a wide grin from Payton. He wasn’t too into football himself, maybe a bit more when he was in muggle school, he actually played it a lot when he was younger, but once Hogwarts started football seemed like a totally different world to him. He would have lost touch with it at all if he didn’t go to a few games when he was home over the summer.
“Now you just want to impress her.”
Still smiling he turned towards Sethia “Logan is very good…he and a senior are the co-captions for his team.”
Hearing this Logan nodded as if all the important topics had been covered and he went back to his magazine. Payton, who had never let go to Sethia’s hand when he got up to Logan gave it a soft squeeze and started to step away, figuring out who else needed an introduction. He paused his search only for a moment to glance over at her. He was use to Logan, but he wondered if Sethia had been expecting a slightly older version of the remaining Moore men.
“That’s Logan for you. He knows whats important to him and the rest of the world sort of floats along beside him…not really in his line of vision.”
He grinned and shrugged, dragging her forward to where Andy, and another girl who had that similar coloring, that same darkened skin and deep brown hair that matched Andy’s and Alex’s.
“Anna, want to come meet my friend.”
That said the girl jumped up. She was taller than Andy, and slightly similar, but besides that, they looked extremely similar.
Payton leaned towards Sethia as his sister approached. “Anna loves animals…wants to own a farm someday.”
He knew that little bit of information should ease Sethia a bit. Animals were something she could relate to.

Sethia smiled a little as Logan as his brother if he was only pretty good, but Payton soon told her that Logan was in fact co-captain of his team, “That’s really good. You have to be really good at football,” she said genuinely.
Logan, she supposed, grew tired of the conversation and went back to his magazine, Payton gave her hand a little squeeze and led her away from his brother. Logan was definitely different to the rest of the Moores, he was more sedate, but in all he seemed nice. She smiled at Payton’s comment about his brother, “I realised that meeting me wasn’t a priority for him, but I didn’t take it any way.”
Payton took her over to where Andy was and another girl with similar colouring, her name was Anna. Sethia’s eyes lit up when Payton told her that Anna wanted to own a farm someday. “That’s great. I live on a farm, but I want a ranch when I’m older,” she told Anna. “What type of farm do you want? Generalised or do you plan to raise specific animals?” she asked, the enthusiasm evident in every word that left her mouth. She was glad to find someone who shared her passion for animals.
