Katie was leaning against the window as they drove up the long drive way to the blue and white manor. Katie looked at the driver and smiled at him.
"Good evening Chris is my father home" Katie asked politely as he got out Katie trunk and her owl.
"No Miss. Davenport he is at work" he said as he walked into the manor and dropped her things off in her room. Katie looked a bit disappointed and sat down in the wooden kitchen. She was watching T.V and eating some junk muggle food. She looked up and noticed the big clock turn 5:00pm and her father wasn’t home at all.
"He must be working even later than usual" Katie said out loud as she got up and walked to her room. After ten minutes of walking up the stairs and down the long rows of rooms she reached her room. She opened the door and look at her usual light blue room. Her window was open and she closed it as her big room felt chilly. She walked over and noticed her own Snowflake in her cage looking at Katie with her big light blue eyes. Katie walked over towards her and started to pet her soft feathers.
"It looks like it just the two of us Snowflake" Katie said as the snowy owl was on her arm. She walked over towards her bed and let Snowflake rest on a wooden twig by her bed side.
Katie sighed as she looked up at the ceiling and let her mind race.

As Katie was thinking she remembered asking her friends to come over so they can stay for a week. She got up right away and pet her snowy owl as she walked down the rows of rooms her friends will be staying. All the rooms were big and had a bed, side table, T.V, stero, and their own bathroom. As Katie made sure the house was clean she walked down stairs and got out tons of candy from the muggle store and one she got in Diagon Ally earlier. She than waited by the door for her guest to arrive.

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati watched as the taxi pulled up into a driveway of a huge blue and white manor. She looked at the cabby.

"You sure this is the right address?" She asked, as she opened the door and continued to stare at the house in front of her. Katie Davenport had asked her to come and visit with her over a summer, but she never really thought about how Katie's house might have been. Parvati's own house was fairly simple, nothing like this.

"Positive, miss. Shoudl i take your bags?" The cabby asked as he opened the trunk and pulled out a blue suitcase. Parvati shook her head no, grabbed the luggage and paied the man the taxi fair. Parvati walked further up to the house and set her bag on the porch before raising her fist to knock.

Kiyla thanked the cab drived with a smile and seen that she had come at the same time as someone else. She smiled at the girl and looked at the house in awe. She didn't think Katie's house would be... wel like this! It was big. Much bigger than her house. Her house was a simple two story house with a three bathrooms but this... wasn't that at all. She smiled at the girl and asked, "And Katie lives here right?"

She walked up to the door and rang the doorbell hesitantly.

Chris than opened the door to Parvati and Kiyla.
"Good evening girls Katie well just......" He said but he was interrupted.
"Thank you Chris I got it but please get their bags and we can show them their rooms" Katie said coming form the Kitchen. She gave Chris a big smile and looked up at her friends.
"Parvati, Kyila come in and I will show you your rooms" Katie said giving them a big smile.

Kiyla watched as a man opened the door and began talking but was interrupted by Katie.

'She has a butler?' Kiyla thought in shock. She couldn't believe it.

"Um.. Hi... Katie..." She said. She bit her lip still standin at the doorway afraid she entered another dimension.

Katie looked at Kyila and Parvati as they entered the manor shocked.

"Oh my gosh I totally forgot to tell you guys I thought you would think I was snobby if I did" Katie said turning slightly red.

"Jordan and Ivy will come soon but I will show you guys you room. Follow me." Katie said walking up the marble staircase with Kyila and Parvati behind her.

After a few minutes of going up the stairs they finally reached the wing where Katie room was and the guest hall. She continued to walk forward and open the door right next to her room.

"This is you will be sleeping Kyila" Katie said walking in the big yellow and orange room.

Phoebe looked out the tazi (well however you say it) window. She had never been in a muggle car before... much less the muggle world. It was all so strange. The people, the gadets, the stores... even the money. She couldn't believe she was where she was anyway. She had told her father she was going over a fellow Slytherin's house. How he would kill her if he knew where she really was. She'd simply die. She didn't care though. She liked the act that she coulf piss her father off so easily.

'This can't be it.' She thought to herself confused.

"Um.. why are you stopping?" She asked the tazi driver confused.

"This is the address ma'am." The tazi driver said. Phoebe raised an eyebrow at the house then opened the door and got out the car. She stood in front of the car on the doorway waiting the man to get her things out of the car. A minute later the tazi drove away and Phoebe was standing in front of the house with her bags sitting on each side of her.

'Fine then, be like that. Filthy muggles...' She thought with a frown. She grudgingly picked up her bags and went to the door. She rang the doorbell.

'This has got to be the wrong house. I mean her house is almost as big as mine.' Phoebe thought looking up at the house in shock. She smirked. She thought she heard voices in the house.

'She did say she was inviting others. Probably all muggle borns. Must remember to be nice. Maybe this is some kind of wicked test someone is trying to put me through. Best shut my mouth and keep my thought to myself. But if one of them dares step out of line... they will be sorry.' Phoebe thought to herself with a cocky smirk.

Chris opened the door for Phoebe.
"Hello Maim Miss. Davenport is up stairs showing the other guest their rooms. You can join then up the stairs. I will get your bags" He said grabbing Phoebe’s bags.
"Miss Davenport another guest has arrived" Chris almost screamed up to Katie.
Katie heard the scream and let Parvati and Kyila look at the room Kyila was sleeping in.
"I will go see who it is be right back" Katie said going down the stairs and noticing Phoebe.
"Phoebe come with me Kyila and Parvti have already arrived" Katie said smiling at her from the bottom of the stairs.

When Katie had invited her to come spend a week at her house she was so supried she didn't tell her mum for three days. She never got invited over to other people's houses, well, not unless they were already friends of the family. Her mum did get a little uneasy when she told her it was a friend from school--which was not the reaction she got from her father when he visited. Since she started Hogwarts, her parents had managed to settle their differences enough that her father came to visit about every other week. This week's visit happened to be when she was packing. He of course got rather excited about the whole matter, and asked her if she wanted him to teach her how to use the floo network, which was how he always came to visit her. She oculd still remember the horrified look on her mother's face.

So here she was, two days later and arriving in a taxi. When she got out of the cab and took her bags with out paying much attention to the house. It wans't until the car was pulling away, and she was left standing there that her eyes grew wide.

"I must have the wrong place..." she mumbled to herself, before looking down at her hand. She had written Katie's address down on it to make sure she wouldn't loose it. Well, the address was right.

She stood there for a long moment, biting her lip and shifting her weight from one foot to the other before she finally gathered up the courage to walk up to the door and knock.

[Ivy Tunstall]

Ivy had been rather surprised when Katie invited her over to her house, but she supposed there was no harm in it. She'd only invited Kiyla over to her house a while before. But still Ivy had, gratified, accepted the invatation, and sent a letter to her father, to which she had received no reply, which was surprising. He hadn't responded to her for quite a while now actually.

Ivy made her way out of the train station and started to walk towards the address. It shouldn't be too long a walk and she was used to that kind of thing. She'd been sitting for a long time now anyway.

Ivy took out the Ordnance Survey map and traced her finger to where Katie's house must be. Gosh, the houses around there looked quite up in the world. Ivy raised her eyebrows and continued on her way.

About three quarters of an hour later, after having got a little lost, Ivy finally arrived on the street where she presumed Katie's house was. Ivy walked down the really quite pleasant road, blinking in surprise at the real scale of the things.

Ivy looked down a long driveway and saw the sign, with the house's name on, nailed to a gatepost. This must be Katie's house. Ivy walked down the driveway, her head down. After a while she took the chance to look at the grounds. They were extensive. Birds were chirupping in the late afternoon sunshine. Ivy then looked up to the house, and that was when the size of the house really hit her. It was absolutely huge. Massive. Beyond recognition for the girl used to her cosy, two up, two down house.

Ivy reached the bottom of the outside flight of stairs, with real extravagant flourishes on them. She began to climb, her legs weary after the long walk. Then she saw someone that was unmistakeably Nokomis. Ivy ran up the steps to meet her, hoping to get there before anyone answered the door.

"Hi," she said, a little out of breath. Ivy tried to compose herself and make herself presentable - which was hard to do considering how long she had been travelling for, and shared in Nokomis' apprehension for a few seconds before the door opened.

[Parvati Patil]

-I don't know where Parvati is right now, so I will have her get lost...feel free to find her -

Parvati turned down the wrong hallway, she knew it. But this house had some sort of trance on her. She wanted to explore it as much as possible. And she figured she wouldn't be able to find any secret rooms if Katie didn't want them to.

Parvati opened a door, and it creaked. Her breath caught at the beautiful sight. She gingerly stepped in and brushed three of her fingers against the walls. Paintings hung up on the white walls, and the sunlight peeked in gradually. She smiled warmly as she touched some silk from a bed and felt the sweet touch underneath her fingertips. There was a table with a lamp that stood in the middle, and photographs were around it. A television sat on the edge near a wall and a small vanity in a corner.

Parvati smiled, in hope that this was to be her room. She left the perfect room and closed the door behind her, before she turned on her heel and left the hallway. She found her way back to Kiyla, and Katie. Who weren't alone anymore, Nokomis, and Phoebe had joined them, along with Ivy. Parvati smiled. Now all they were missing was Jordan.

Jordan smiled as her brother dropped her off, itching to get of the car she practically jumped out. She grabbed her messenger bag and bounded up the pathway to the door.

"Yes! A house that ISN'T glass!" Jordan said enthusiastcially to herself. She smiled again and raised her fist to knock. She pounded on the wooden door and watched it swing open. Jordan didn't bother to listen to the butler, she pushed past and entered. Her eyes caught on the magnificence of the house and she smiled.

"Katie! How come you didn't tell me you live in a mansion?!" Jordan asked as she bond up the stairs, in search of Katie.

Katie was just up the stairs with Kyila, Nokomis, Ivy, Phoebe, and she had to find Parvati.

"I thought you guys would have thought I was snobby if I did. I don’t really like to shove my wealth in other people faces." Katie said turning slightly pink. She knew some Slytherins did that but she never noticed Phoebe mentioned that.

Katie was just looking down the hall and noticed Paravti come up.

"There you are I have to show all of you guys your rooms and other parts of the house." Katie said smiling.

"And then we can have some fun!" Katie said smiling at everyone and opening the door on her right. It was right next to Kyila room.

"Jordan this is your room" Katie said opening the door to a oragne and white room.

AS Jordan looked at her room Katie went to the next room and opened it for Ivy.
"This is your room Ivy" Katie said with a smiled as she open the room revaling a light blue and white room. Her things were already up in her room.

As Jordan and Kyila were in their rooms looking around Chris came up with their bags and droped them off in their rooms.

He than went back downstairs and katie smield at Nokmis. She than walked to across to the other side of the hall and opened the next door.

'This is your room Nokomis" she said opening the door to a purple and white room.

As Chris came up again with Nokmis and Phoebes bags and droped them off int thier room katie than walked over the the foor on the left.

"This is your room Phoebe" Katie said opening the door to a green and white room. She let Pheobe wander in her room and walked over to the last door that leaded to the stairs that head to the pool.
"Parvati this is your room" katie said opening the door that she was just in.

Katie gave all her friends a smile and waited for them to get unpacked so she can show them the rest of the house.

[Ivy Tunstall]

Ivy smiled as Katie showed her into her room. Her belongings were already in there. Ivy unzipped the holdall and brought out her pyjamas. She put them under the bedcovers, and tucked her teddy bear underneath the covers. It was nice to make herself feel at home, and in a house this big she certainly needed some help.

Ivy sighed and walked across the room. Her footsteps echoed on the wooden floor. Late afternoon light was giving a warm glow to the room. Ivy leaned on the windowsill, looking out across the estate. It really was huge. She could see a large swimming pool down below, outside, but it looked as though it was heated. There was a huge lawn which looked as if it was immaculately kept, and all sorts of topiaries and sculptures. Ivy smiled. It was certainly peaceful here, but she couldn't get over the grandeur of it all.

Ivy found a small a small ensuite to the left where she washed her face. She changed quickly into something fresh and emerged from her room, looking a lot better for it, smiling at Katie as she came out. Some people were there, but not the whole party. Ivy felt relieved that she had not kept them waiting.

Phoebe smiled at Katie as she walked into her room. It was green and white. Perfect for her being a Slytherin and all. She saw her bags were already there so she took out her wand about to say a spell to make her things unpack whe she realized she was in the muggle world. She would have to do it herself. She sighed and put her wand away. She walked over to her things and unpacked as quickly as she could.

When she was finished she walked into the bathroom and changed clothing. She walked back into her room and looked out the window thoughtfully. THis place was huge. Well she knew in the others eyes it was. Her house was pretty much this size. Maybe bigger she didn't care or notice. After a while of thinking she left the room and walked around trying to find everyone.

"Oh here you are." She said with a smirk. She walked over and saw Ivy and gave her a friendly smirk that was close to a smile.

"Hello." She said. She wondered if Katie had invited all muggle borns. If so... this would be an interesting experience.

"Orange... and white. Orange?" Kiyla thought aloud as she walked into her room. She shrugged and began to unpack. This room was bigger than her own room at home. She sighed as she put a picture of her and her mum on the nightstand by the dresser and then put anothe rpicture of her and Ivy on it as well. They had taken that picture earler and they were waving and smiling. Kiyla smiled as she looked at the picture then she walked into the restroomm in her room. She smiled at it's elegance and quickly washed up and put on something else.

She walked out of her room slightly confused. She wondered where everyone was. She turned to her left and knocked on the door.

"Hello?" She said into the room and smiled when she saw Ivy. She ran over to her and sat down next to her. She didn't even notice the Slytherin sitting next to her until a second later.

"Hey." She said to both of them with a grin.

Parvati felt giddy, it was great she was away from her house. Her mind raced with glee as she searched for snacks. She smiled and pulled out chips, pretzels, and much more goodies. Parvati was about to head up when she remembered Jordan, spotted some chocolates on the table and raced back upstairs where they were all gathering into one room.

"I come bearing yummys!" Parvati said as she set them down on a table and grabbed a hand ful of chips. She popped some in her mouth and sat down on the bed, looking around the room.

"You know...I think I am the oldest one here. That's sad..." Parvati inquired. She giggled, and ate another chip.

Katie look at everybody and they all gathered around the table up stairs.

"It looks like you found the goodies Parvati " Katie said with a giggle.

"Lets go to down stairs to the movie theater and we could watch a movie or we can have a pool party outside and blust the stero high so the neighbors call" Katie said with a smile waiting for everyone answer.
