Hi team! I want to know what the current state of play is with who's away and who wants to play in the next game, which will hopefully be very very soon!

Okay, so out of you lot...
- Sydney, I don't expect you to play in this game but let me know if you are available.
- Charlie... you're away until 25th June and you haven't been posting Stewart so I don't think that I'll be putting you in as our Seeker until you're back!
- Kael, will you actually be able to post in the game if needed until you go away? *note* Definitely away from 22nd June - 1st July.
- Bryce, how much will you be able to play?
- Ashley, can I count on you as the team's main Beater?
- Harmony, Seth and Sophia, I'm counting on you to be there but are there any dates when you will definitely be away?
- Carson, are you around and do you want to play? Please let me know if you will be able to be a reliable team member and I'll see where I can fit you in... if you're going to be around then you may be able to go in as a Beater if Ash or Bryce go quiet.


This is what I'm currently thinking for the starting lineup, although it might change when I've seen the stats for the players. They may cause some changes. I particularly need your approval on this, Ash.

Come the 22nd when Kael will be leaving us, I would then probably want to put Charles in as our Keeper, although if he definitely isn't around Seth may fill that spot temporarily to make sure that we've got a proper Keeper! Then on the 25th, depending on how active you'll be, Charlie, you can go in as Seeker if you have better stats than Harmony, or stay as Keeper. I'm not sure - we'll have to see how it goes at the time. We don't have an awful lot of Beaters to play with, not with Sydney away... Carson, when you're back, it'd be really helpful to know if you can play.

I think it may be time for me to go recruiting! Please could you all let me know any times when you know that you're going to be away or not able to post, so that it can be worked round more easily? Thank you!

Goodness, no. It's waaaay before 6th August!

I'll be back on the 20 something of July. It's basically three weeks but just a bit less. I believe it's 20 days. To be honest, I have no idea. Lol.

But, in that dilemma, I'll probably ask Kat to play either of them - she says it's fine. Whoever has the better stats. Or both, if she can. Or someone else can? XD Hahahaha. Let's hope the game isn't that long.

Sorry for the delay! Yes, Yes, I'm around for the whole time as far as I know...though I *might* be away for a bit at the end of July (as I've just told Viv and she's just posted...), but no plans have been made yet...I'll let you all know closer to the time. I'll be pretty busy in the summer (trying to fit a 10-week course into 2/3 weeks, eep, plus a weeks work experience!), but I'll be able to post in quidditch. By August I'll be more free, though I'm not here from the 22nd to the 28th (and neither is Izy), and I doubt there'll be internet access at the place we're staying (not that we'll have much free time anyway, between field work and coursework in the evenings) but the game will hopefully be over by then!

So, yeah, basically I'm around and I'll let you know about the end of July. And as Viv's said she'll be able to post Sophia for me for those few days if necessary. And I'll be able to post Viv's charries for her (I'll prioritise Harmony as she's the seeker-if she's still seeker then- and post Seth only when necessary, like I did with Theo in the Ravenclaw game...depending on what positions they are at the time).

Hello Ivy and Hufflepuffs,

I have been informed by staff that the next Quidditch match, Hufflepuff versus Slytherin, will be held between three to five days after our previous one, which was Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw. Since I am generally free to start the match this weekend, and I would like to give participants as much time as possible to prepare (and certainly, for Captains and Vices to gather their teams), I plan to do this tomorrow night, on Sunday, 15th June. Hopefully, this will give those members who were also active during the previous match to rest up for this one.

If there are any problems, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me. See you at the match, nice and prompt.

Hey everyone. Randy is new to the team as a Reserve Beater so hello. ;D

As for dates that I will be gone for Ivy. I will defiantly be out of town June 25th-29th which is only a few days, but that is set in stone. I may or may not be gone for some time around the fourth of July holidays..that is yet to be determined, but I will let you know if I will be out. And then I will be gone for a week in late July..I'm not sure of the date or even if the match will still be going on then, but if the game is still strong by early July, I will let you know.

And finally, just a note about me. I'm sort've going to be away, and the rest of the time I'm going to be extremely busy, which is why I've subbed myself out of the game. I will be at home for... portions of the week, but not really that much. I'll just give a few details of my availability over the next week in case you need me.

Sunday 22nd: Will be able to check Four Houses but will be horrendously busy catching up on homework.
Monday 23rd: May manage to make it on in the evening but it is possible that I will not.
Tuesday 24th: I will not be around at all.
Wednesday 25th: May be able to check on in the evening, no guarantees.
Thursday 26th: No guarantees...
Friday 27th: Should be around in the evening.

Just a note for our Beaters - obviously then defending our team comes first, but other than that, Drake needs to be your main target for the moment because he's pulled ahead by two Snitch rolls when we had mixups or whatever it was that meant our Seekers didn't post. Please help Charlie make up the deficit whenever you can! (by knocking Drake out of action, mwahaha).

And to Charlie especially - we're counting on you! Drake hasn't missed a roll yet and there's no signs of him becoming any more erratic, so... well, you know what to do.
