Hey everyone - the game is progressing well so far, so well done and thank you for the effort and posting so consistently.  In particular, thanks to Melody, who has been an absolute star in beating the heck out of the Ravenclaws.  Yay! I do think we need to step up the game though, otherwise this match will go on forever. I know Lenora's busy, so I shan't disturb you unless it's absolutely necessary that you post. Ditto for AJ, because I know you might still be grounded? We have Melody covering for you, but I don't want to put too much pressure on the little second year, so once you're back, please post if you can.  Not every day, but if you could relieve Melody of some of the Beater pressure, that would be great. As for Rex; I understand you're probably busy, but we really need to the Seeker to post every day; it's one of those positions that require constant vigilence (more so than Chasers, because there are three of them, Keepers because they're not always needed, and Beaters where you don't have to hit someone and there's two anyway). If you know you can't play Rex every single day in the next week or more, then please could you tell me so I can switch you to the Beater position (either Melody or AJ, whoever is less active), which requires less activity? Most likely I will make Scott Seeker, if that's all right with him, and hopefully then Casey will be back to take the Chaser spot Scott leaves. Hopefully this is all right with you as well, Cass. Ugh, it just deleted everything I said.  Anyway, to summarise what I said: - Great to see you back, Lenora, and thanks for getting back to the game; helps take the pressure off of my own shoulders. - The line-up will change soon since Casey is back. It's possible Rex will go to Beater to help relieve the pressure off of Melody's shoulders, since AJ is not around, and slot Casey into Chaser and Scott into Beater; but, depending on Casey's dice rolls, she may replace Cass as Keeper with Cass being Beater - it's all down to the Captain, she'll do what's best. - Thanks again to everyone's vigilence, effort and dedication. Casey, please read my PM. Cass, I've gone ahead and changed the line-up, since I think Casey is back, and she has better stats for a Keeper. She'll probably be able to be more active as well - if not, well, she'll read my PM. I've put you, Cass, back into Beater, obviously. Had to put AJ in Chaser, but since AJ isn't around anyway, it won't make much difference. Thanks for keeping up with the game, everyone. Much appreciated. Hope new line-up is okay. Don't play the wrong position by accident now! |

Lenora, could you please post in the match, snatching the Quaffle? I would myself, but since we must pass before another shot on goal, and Zara has better strength, and we have the same dex, we should have you try to get it. If you can't do it, please let me know. I'll go for it, but I'd have to pass it to you anyway, and that lowers our shooting chances. |

The game is almost over! So... since Cass isn't here, I thought I might as well go ahead and have a bit of a 'clean up' operation... i.e. going through our team and sorting out people's positions. I've just given Madam Hooch our team list, and your preferred positions. At the moment, since AJ was dropped, we have an open Keeper spot, which we're gonna have to fill. So, I'm moving people around a bit. Current team line-up is: Chaser - Lenora Byers G7 Chaser - Zara Phoenix G7 Chaser - Casey Allen G4 Beater - Rex Carter G4 Beater - Cassandra Blackfire G6 Seeker - Scott Ryder G5 Keeper - OPEN Reserve Team Melody Bang-Bala G2 Rosaliz Hernandez G4 Suggesting this new line-up for NEXT YEAR: (Lenora will have graduated, I believe. Zara isn't. I'm assuming everyone else is moving up a year.) Chaser - Riley Coxen G5Chaser - Zara Phoenix G7 Chaser - Casey Allen G5 Beater - Rex Carter G5 Beater - Oz Coxen G5Seeker - Scott Ryder G6 Keeper - Cassandra Blackfire G7 Reserve Team Melody Bang-Bala G2 - dunno if you're moving up? I should really do this all on this account. Lol. So here I am again. Thanks to everyone for participating. My vice post thing is up, if you all want to read it. It's not a proper speech or anything, since I'm not Captain. If Cass can do hers, I'm sure she will. You don't have to post in the match if you don't have the time, but again, thank you for all your hard work. It is all appreciated, aaand, we won! Yay! Until the next match then, which won't be until next year. But, I'm sure we'll have another practice at the beginning of next year. |
