Oh and it's great to hear that these charries are well under way. Now all that's left is Jason and Vi (who I'm sure is probably a lot more active with her heartburn charrie than I am so she probably doesn't need to check in. =P)

Only two?  What about Charms, Potions, Transfigurations, History of Magic, and Astronomy? I guess the book never does specify how many classes a sixth or seventh year has to take in order to be a student... so if Olivia only took two classes I guess that would be all right. I was just trying to see if Wynd and Olivia would share a class in their sixth year. Wynd takes Care of Magical Creatures but not Divination. |

Ha well those are the required classes as far as I know.. I just told you the electives. Of course Olivia would be in Charms, Potions, History of Magic, and the rest. Although, she rarely actually comes to History and Astronomy.  |

Those are only compulsory up until the end of the OWLs. After that the students are free to choose their subjects - depending on their having got good enough grades in the ones they want to do. I'm not sure what the normal number of NEWTs is... the normal number of subjects taken in sixth year in the UK would be 4. But I think that the Hogwarts students might have been doing an average of five.

lol. Tis' fine. was this a fun "going-on-vacation" vacation or like a I'm-so-busy-and-can't-post" vacation? Cuz if it was the first one I'm sooo jealous. I've been dying to get away from home for ages.  And if it's not then trust me, I know how it is. Life gets far too busy for my liking sometimes. |
