I guess I'm confused by the practice. So....

In the first round do you want August to be a Chaser trying to score on Theo; the second round trying to score on Woodrow; and the third round become a Keeper?

Or

In the first round do you want me to try and score on Edward; the second round try to score on E/Sandy; and then the final round to be a Keeper?

See, I'm just confused...

I think, August, that in your first post(round 1) you are attempting a shot on Theo, or whoever plays keeper first at goal post 2. On your second post(round 2) you are attempting an shot against the keeper of goal post 1, whoever that will be at the time. On your third post(round 3) however, I believe you will be guarding goal post 2, against me more than likely.

Of course that is just how I read the directions, Viv might mean something totally different, however I do believe I am correct.

August, these are your roles:
Round one - Chaser (G2) [shooting at Theo/Edward (whoever posts first)]
Round two - Chaser (G1) [shooting at Ephraim/Sandy (whoever posts first)]
Round three - Keeper (G2) [saving against Woodrow/Celia/Williard]

Hope that makes sense. :) Anyone else have any issues/complications? I apologise again for the craziness. ^^;;

Theo, btw, is currently saving at goalpost 2. So whoever shoots first at goalpost 2 - August or Celia or Williard - will be attempted to be saved by him. :)

And yes, thank you Woody. ;) If people could post briefly in the practice that would be great.

Remember, all, that you can earn one more post point by posting at the end of the match with Slytherin! It doesn't have to be long either. :)

Hello again, team. >D *rises from the mist* Yes. I am back. And people have yet to post, I see...

Lol. I know people are busy... Anyway, the reason I'm pestering everyone again about the practice that really needs to be wrapped up is a) because I want the post to be finished off and b) we need to get you more experience points. I can tell you with some sureness that the next match will include Ravenclaw, since Kathryn and I can't be around during May and June, so we need to captain this match... Yes. So, we need to get as much XP before the next one starts!

Looking at the stats, E only needs two more to get 2 XP so you need to post twice, E! The same goes for Williard (for your first XP point). Edward, you need three (also for your first XP point, and since you're on the main team that would be awesome). Those aren't too difficult to get before the match.

Everyone else needs quite a lot, m'afraid. Ruth, August, Woody and Celia all need eight; Sandy and Theo need nine. If you guys can post as much as you can, that would be great, but we do need you to post at least once during the practice so everyone can have a go doing different roles, etc.

Okies, I'm not making a new owl so I hope people will read and reply to this. :P Since it seems this thread has either been unseen or ignored! D: How terrible.

So my lovelies, our next and last match of the school year is fast approaching. It will probably be starting in one or two weeks, so I need to know who is available besides Celia and myself. Depending on who is available, we will then sort out the draft for the line-up, and then when we get the stat rolls we can give everyone their definite positions.

May I take this opportunity (for the upteenth time) to remind you that the practice is still up, but I will ask for it to be archived once the match starts; there seems little sense in prolonging it any further since after this match, any XP points won't matter - until next year, and there's plenty of time to practise afresh before then. Remember that there are a few of you who would do well with a few more XP points so please post in the practice asap.

Anyway, please post below telling us if you can or cannot be a part of the upcoming match with Gryffindor, and please also tell us, if you're available, if there are certain times that you can't make also. :) Thank you~

Thanks for this, Theo! We should indeed be having another game soon-ish, but I'm not sure when. And it is indeed against Gryffindors...so we HAVE to win! All the teams are pretty much equal at the moment in terms of points, so...we need to go out there and kick some ass!

Hmm, not a phrase I use very often...eh.

Also, this is my last game of Quidditch ever, as I'll be leaving at the end of the year. As will Ruth, I expect. So...we need to sort out team captains at some point. As it stands, I think Theo will be taking over as the main captain as he's done a brilliant job as the vice-captain. As for who will be the new vice...I have yet to decide, but once the decision has been discussed, we'll let you know. I think it's most likely to be E at the moment, as he's the only other 6th year and so it'd be his last chance. But that all depends on what happens with the characters he has on the other teams.

Starting line up will probably stay as it is at the moment, depending on stats rolls and if anyone happens to be away or otherwise not available to play in this match. It's gonna be a tough match, but...we can definitely win! We have a strong team ourselves, and if we get good stats rolls too, we're all set!

It never really occured to me to post in the Ravenclaw practice thread lol I don't know why...it's like I know Will is on the team, but it just didn't pop in my head....probably because I've been focusing on other things. But he'll be here for Quidditch for sure.
