Hey-ho, how did Maths go?

It was actually all right I think, which was a surprise - it is a really hard paper! I was rather worried about it beforehand. Will just have to wait to see how I actually did... results are always painfully slow.
When's your first exam? What is your first exam (other than the English resit you did before half term)? Is it General?
Btw, about Star Trek... I think we'll have to give it a miss until after exams (18th June onwards, I mean). I'm just terrified it won't be showing any more. *sniff* But I hope it will be because I don't really think it would be appropriate to go see it in the middle of revision...

Good. :) It's the one you and Kat particularly don't like, right - C4?
Besides the re-sit, it's General, yes. Lovely, haha...
I concur. I doubt my mum would let me go now even if I wanted to. I've left my revision to the last minute, Izy, so... I'm going to be crossing my fingers and hoping luck will be kind to me, especially in English because I do really need that A.
Let's hope it's showing. I finish before you all so I'll check the film times out, don't worry. :)

Maths...the actual paper was fine, but I completely messed up the comprehension bit, so I doubt I can get above 90, accounting for likely un-noticed errors. Ah well, doesn't matter . I thought it was a relatively nice paper, with nothing toooo challenging, so...yeah, I'm happy. Maybe that's because we spent more time at lunch discussing the horror that was the leavers' ball rather than the actual exam so mistakes weren't pointed out, but still. As for Star Trek, I agree that leaving it till June 18th would be good. However, the Lower 6th will be back in school by that day so we'd either have to leave it till the evening or hope that they happen to be free 7/8 (or even all afternoon) that day . I'm not sure when it first came out, but as it's a popular film it shoullllld still be on then, even if it's only 3 times a day or so. Anyways, see you on Thursday for lovely lovely General . In a weird way I'm kinda looking forward to it...just hope the essays are nice. And see you for chem tomorrow, Izy Just hope I can improve on last time (nyeh).

Lol, I think horror is a good word to describe it... If I wasn't already against clubbing atmospheres enough, the Ball made me want to run away screaming. xD;;
Well, we could always do the weekend; Izy did say she's free during then, even though she has the Chemistry AEA.
Phff, looking forward to General? Are you kidding, Kat?! xD

I know the feeling, urgh. As I was saying to Ting, I thought it was gonna be more formal, with that kinda thing right at the end (from, say, around 10), and not the whole night. Ah well, it was an experience at least Yeah, the weekend would be good, assuming everyone else is free then (and I don't see why not really). I'm looking forward to it in a "I wonder what's gonna come up this time..." kinda way, more than anything . I'd rather not spend my morning taking useless exams, but at least decent essays would make it more tolerable

The Lower Sixth would've finished by then, as well as most of the GCSE students. I'm taking responsibility for informing both Emmas. :)
Izy, my mum's going to drop some General Studies notes off at your house through the letterbox when she takes Ken to flute (which is right now, actually) that I forgot to give to you earlier. :)

GAH IT DELETED MY MESSAGE!
Basically -
Izy, hope Chemistry went well!
Kat, I need to know if it's still on tomorrow. I'm meeting Lucy beforehand whether or not it's still on. Ting's not going, as you know.
Star Trek: times for Saturday are 11:35, 2:25 and 5:15. We could have lunch / dinner together depending on which one.
Poor Emma will be very tired after D of E so although I don't mind the early showing I think she may appreciate a later one.
Emma C can't make it.
Do you need me to contact anyone like Wai San, etc.?

Thanks Viv! It wasn't bad, though there was one extremely nasty question on electrochemistry. Doesn't that topic sound horrid just from the title? Anyhow, for the most part I suppose it was all right... I don't really remember... soooooo tired... I think I must do exams in a zombie state of mind or something. Or something that uses up all my energy. Bleurgh. Lucy said that you and her will be going whatever. From the sounds of it, Bo might not be going to go. If we rearrange it to the afternoon, Bo might be able to go and she'll tell us tonight. I was going to talk to Kathryn to see whether she actually wants to go... if she doesn't, then I won't go either (after all, you've had to cancel on Lucy for Saturday right so you can spend time together on Friday instead? sorry about that) as I don't actually particularly like ice skating and I was coming so as not to be difficult, but now that Ting herself has dropped out... but if Kathryn does want to go then I will go too because it'll be more fun as a foursome (or fivesome if we rearrange it so that Bo can come) than as a threesome. I don't mind about Star Trek times so whenever's convenient. Where are we going to go and see it? Um... yes we should ask Wai San if she wants to go. I'll ask her tomorrow when I'm in school if you like.

Whoa. That does sound scary. Though at first, looking at 'electro', I envisaged Pikachu. xD
Well, rejoice that it is over! Almost anyway. I shall rejoice for / with you! :D
Yes yes, I will be meeting Lucy at 10 whether or not ice-skating is happening. We may or may not go even if the time stays the same. If you change it to the afternoon neither of us can go, because Lucy has to be home by 12:30 and it's actually my dad's birthday tomorrow and we're going out in the evening. But please don't change it on account for us! Honest, just make sure to tell me before tomorrow so Lucy and I can sort something out whilst you're all still sleeping. :P
Printworks. :) The usual cinema haunt for me! And I'd like to have a meal together, so... *shrug* Bus times suit us as well, Izy. Kathryn, do you have any preferences?
And yes please, ask Wai San if you see her! But if you don't, tell me so I can call her if you don't. :) Is there anyone else who expressed an interest in coming?

Can we just ditch the ice skating altogether then? My period started today and that's one of the reasons why I'm so tired... I'm not sure whether I particularly want to combine pain and ice. Hmm. I'd love to have a meal together before film... I don't think I've had much of a proper conversation (except with Kathryn today at lunch, horaay) with anyone for quite a while... To be honest then I can't remember! but I think Celia did. However, she's actually already gone to see it with her mum and she's going on open days so she doesn't have time to go see it again. I'm fairly sure that I'll see Wai San tomorrow.

Yes, let's. We could always do it on another day... Ting and Lucy don't go away till after the last day of School so there's about a week in between... Since you're going to Stonehenge (?). How long are you going for?
If you want to have a meal before the film, we should have lunch and then see the 2:25 showing. I personally think it's more social if we watched the film at 5:15 and then had dinner, but either way works for me! :D
Righty, thanks then. :)

Okies, I don't mind about tomorrow being cancelled...I'm not a huge fan of ice skating and it'd be nice to have a lie in . We're away from 24th to 30th I believe (Weds to Tues anyway) so any time after then is fine if we're gonna reschedule or just do something different then =). As for Saturday, errrm...Any time's fine really. I think I'd prefer the later showing so I'm not rushed from dancing before having lunch, and I get time to drive in the afternoon . But really, I'm not too bothered. Where would we be going for dinner, somewhere in Chinatown or something (not that I really mind!) If we go for 5.15, it's not gonna finish till around 7.30...would that be too late, or is that alright with everyone?

Meh it's a little bit late... I don't function very well without food at my regular mealtimes. But *shrug* whatever.

Well, if Kat prefers the later showing, then I'm all up for it. Izy, I think we should make sure to snack a bit to keep us going till 7:30 p.m., aha... We probably won't take the bus till 9, but that should be all right, considering how it's not even dark at 10 round here!
So if that's the case, please will you tell Wai San to meet at the Printworks at 5 p.m. - no later than 5:15 p.m. because that would really be leaving it late. I'm sure we'll have to queue.
I will inform Emma. I will also ask Ting if she's interested but I believe she's busy on Saturday with her mum.

Hahaa yes, remember to bring your own drinks, otherwise it'll cost a fortune in the cinema. ><;;
As for which restaurant... Any suggestions, people? I'm thinking Wagamama's is right next door; so's Nando's, but I don't really feel like Nando's for dinner, it's more of a lunch thing for me; there's... Frankie's and Benny's? I can't remember. There's quite a wide selection.

errrm...well, I'm already going to F&Bs tomorrow (or Benny and Jerry's as my dad's taken to calling it : , and we went to Fuzion today which is...quite similar to Wagamamas really. Nandos is more of a lunch thing, as you say . There're plenty of places we could go in Manchester really. I'm trying to think of where we've been before, but other than Wagamamas and F&Bs only various Chinese restaurants spring to mind. I'd be fine with going to somewhere in Chinatown personally, but it's up to you really.

To be honest, considering the time at which we're finishing... trekking anywhere (hehe) doesn't really appeal to me. Personally I'd rather eat the same sort of food again, and get to eat quicker...
