plot summary

Adam and Dixie: They've come a long way. Years of trust issues, memory loss, running away, marriage, and pregnancy – and they've decided to call it quits. With the divorce finalized and shared custody of Jamie, Adam and Dixie try to go about their lives normally. He continues to teach at Hogwarts, she continues to try to stay afloat in the fashion industry. With things rocky, Dixie realizes she needs Adam in her life – if not as a husband, than as a best friend. Reconciliation seems to be in the future, but can they shove aside all of that murky history to start over new…as friends?

Adam and Derek: One brother doesn't know the other exists, and the other brother is determined to make one brother pay. Derek appears in Adam's life, demanding money that once belonged to their parents. Needless to say, it isn't exactly what Adam expected to show up on his doorstep late at night… and not to mention, Dixie has a good portion of the money that Derek is demanding. One heartless brother, one broken hearted trying to reassemble his life. What does it equal? Any possibility of reconciliation here? Viewers say 'no.'

Derek and Dixie: Not exactly heartbroken, but definitely struggling – Dixie doesn't really look for love anymore. She's focused on her son and her business. But when Derek makes a reappearance in her life months after that embarrassing night in the bar, Dixie decides to give him a shot. Of course, he's holding a secret far deeper than she realizes, and when it comes out… there's bound to be an explosion. There's only one thing to do, sit back, relax, and watch the fireworks.
