Edit: My bad, I should have said Video Games.

....if we're talking about video games I am in love with the Final Fantasy series. The Mario games are always fun. I'm also a fan of the Donkey Kong series.

I don't have much time to play games anymore... and my parents have never allowed the Playstation, Wii, etc. I do own the DS and the PSP, though - yet I only play the former, heh. Hm... when I do play the DS, I tend to play Mario Kart, just 'cause I don't have to think much and it relaxes me (except when I start cursing, hahaha). I really need to catch up on games. I used to be obsessed with Pokemon. xD;;

Awesome, the pokemon games had pretty good story lines, if somewhat repetitive. As it goes for me, I too am a big fan of the Final Fantasy sagas, which is why my myspace is so full of Final Fantasy music AMV's. A few of my other faves are Metal Gear Solid, Megaman, Sonic, KOF, and Super Smash Bros.

-snicker- I don't think any girl can join in a guy's conversation about video games without raised brows. At least, I can't. (Oh yes, I'm a girl.) I have an Xbox and will never update to 360, no matter how adamant they are in not releasing Fable 2 on Xbox classic. :3 So yes, I'm a Fable fan, simply because I got the game when I first got my Xbox yeaaaarrrs ago, and can still enjoy it - normally I get bored of games far too quickly. -glare at Halo- If I had the time/money to spare, I'd probably splash out on some really good gory battle games... but I don't, so I stick with good old chicken-kicking Fable! (:

Pokemon was terribly repetitive after... whichever one it was called. xD;;
I really want a Wii, but then again, since I don't play games much (I'd prefer to write, lol), I'm not overly bothered. It'd just be something else I was addicted to. ^^;;
AS for gaming... yes, Astrid, it is such a masculine thing, heh. I've grown out of it a lot, but so many boys my age are still obsessed. *shrug* Whatever floats their boat? xD

I only play computer games... old tactical games mostly.
Caesar III is my absolute favourite! It's challenging and it's to do with Romans and it has lots of classical civ info that you can go read if you get bored of playing, plus little people who walk around and say sarcastic things, yey! (I have a slight Roman obsession). And Civilisation II, but that's broken so now I have to play Civ III. The Age of Empires games I liked, though I don't play on those anymore - Age of Kings was the best of them but my sister took it with her to uni! The Settlers IV, Pirates! which I rather like - probably the closest thing to a 'video game' that I have, and, I have to admit... Sims. Heh.

Oh yes; I forgot about PC games. :D
Love The Sims. Wish I had 2, but 3's coming out soon and frankly, I don't have the time. I'd get way too addicted like I have to 4Houses. ><;;

I found the Pokemon gameboy... games... intriguing, but I never owned a gameboy or the game so I haven't really ever played them properly.

Yes, you should hide! You made me delete my almost complete version of Pokemon Red which was my very first game! I'd spent hours on it when I was, like, 9...I have fond memories of sitting in the garden, accompanied by the guide and a friend down the road who knew more about the game than I did...he'd got it a while before me, if I remember rightly. Otherwise, most of my gameboy games were pokemon or Harry Potter...I guess I still have them around, but also probably lost some, ah well. Seriously though, if you want to borrow my Gameboy again sometime I can dig it out so you can continue that Pokemon game... I used to play on my brother's playstation quite a bit, on a variety of games, but I've never been much of a PC gamer. I play The Sims occasionally...and I used to have some cool games I played all the time before I discovered the internet existed . Namely Gizmos and Gadgets . Basically an engineering game...having to find car/plane parts to make the best vehicle, then win races. While fending off chimps who tried to steal said parts with bananas. Yes, you went around collecting bananas too. I was impressed, when I was...about 7 or so . I doubt it'd work on my present PC though...at the time we just had Windows 95...wonder if I still have the disc lying around somewhere... And how could I forget my 10-day World of Warcraft trial last summer? That was fun...shame the friend I played with can't get any more free trials now, and is too busy anyway. Now WoW is one ADDICTIVE game! Though really fun . And I've played on some of Izy's computer games too, my favourite probably being Pirates . And Settlers was also fun .

I PLAYED GIZMOS AND GADGETS! It's a 'Learning Company' game... oh it's amazing! Especially playing games with monkeys but without bananas to make it more difficult (oh yes, you can make these things more difficult and fun if you play them enough). I used to 'toast' the bananas on the heat pad things hehehe. (yes, weird imagination was active back then also). The monkeys were weird though... they had wheels. But no matter. Yes, Gizmos and Gadgets was amazing - all those science questions to answer and the diagrams to wonder at. *nod nod* It doesn't work on my computer anymore though. My new soundcard made it obsolete. I can't believe you've never mentioned it before!!! (Did you have Operation Neptune, Logic Quest or any of the others?)

I'm not sure if I could quite consider myself a gamer...though I am fascinated with owning every gaming platform I can...and yes the Atari will be added to my collection soon... *grins* Very soon.
Anyway...as for games...Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Starquest isn't horrible...close but not quite. What else do I play? Halo is amazing, Super Smash Bros., Fable, Fear is pretty awesome. I'm in the beginning stages of saving for an XBox 360 so I can get Dead Space. I play Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolutions. I have to admit I also like DDR for PS2. I like Mario Karts on the WII as well...that's pretty spectacular. Lastly, I love all the baseball sport games...I usually kick butt on them.
But really...I wouldn't consider myself a gamer really. I don't play here enough and I kinda suck.

Ah, Ruby you have much the same interest as me in games. By far, I love to rock out playing GH or Rock Band. Baseball games are awesome, especially when playing your buddies. Halo has got to be one of the best games of all time, and the webshow, Red vs Blue only makes it better.

I do love Red vs. Blue. Makes my day. But yes Baseball games with the buds are fun. My old roommate and I would play a lot and I'd kick is butt. Of course he'd kick mine at Halo...unless I had the grenade launcher.

I always use the sword, my buddies reactions are too funny. " I shot you like twenty times!" That's usually what they say, but my reply is always " And I stabbed you once, tee hee!"

LMAO...The sword is awesome. We'd usually fight to get both the sword and grenade launcher so whoever ended up with them would be indestructable basically. Now that I think about it...I think he still has my game.

Lol, I play halo at my buddies house. It's his game, but I kick his butt. You ever play online? Messing with people on there is so much fun, and sometimes you can reenact the red vs blue scenes, especially the tank scenes.

lol I haven't played online in a while...I get my butt kicked too bad to play on there often. My brother and I would play...he'd be the highest scorer and I'd be the lowest...which is funny I suppose.

That's a horrible story, it's full of oppression. You have to rise to the occasion, or just throw a plasma bomb on yourself and run at people, sure you get a -1 but if you take three others out with you, it all evens out. Anyone ever accidentily kill yourself on Halo by jumping to the wrong spot? It sucks......
